DESCRIPTION:Action Steel Match at Rod & Gun Club of New Bedford\n-- Registration check-in starts at 8:15 am\, safety meeting at 8:45 AM and first shots at 9 am. Please try to be on time so you can be registered and ready for the safety briefing….\n-- We will be there early (7:00 -7:30 AM) to setup all the stages\, anyone who volunteered to help setup please try to get there early so we can get all the stages setup on time.\n-- Please note that if the weather becomes a factor on Match Day\, we will let everyone know very early in the morning if it’s canceled\, please pay attention to your emails on Sunday morning...\n** MATCH DIRECTOR(S) RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF SHOOTERS & TO MOVE SHOOTERS AS NECESSARY TO EVEN OUT THE SQUADS\nRULES:\n-- This event will be a “Cold Range” no loaded weapons on your person at any time during the match aside from when it is your turn to shoot a stage\n-- Eye and Ear protection is always required during the match including all spectators…\n-- All firearms are to be bagged\, holstered and unloaded. They are not to be handled unless you are at the “Safe Tables”\, or the firing line and the Range Officer gives you the command to “Load & Make Ready”. The RO always has control of the range….\n-- Please be aware of the “180” rule. All muzzles must always be pointed down range. If the Range Officer finds you breaking the “180” you will be disqualified\, and your day is done…\n-- Stage Resetting… Once the Range officer determines the range to be “SAFE” then EVERYONE needs to help reset the stage so that we can keep the flow of Shooters & Squads moving. Please make sure you are helping...\n-- There will be SAFE TABLES if you need to work on your firearm... Remember absolutely NO AMMUNITION at the safe tables\, that means no loaded mags on your waist or even in the pistol or rifle bag/case you bring to the table\, please leave it on the pit bench…. DESCRIPTION:Invitational Head to Head Elimination Match..\nThis will be a Round Robin Head to Head Reactive steel plate match. There will be two (2) Squads for this Match.\nSquad 1 (Pit 1)\nSquad 2 (Pit 5)\nBoth stages will have 6 plates per side\, consisting of Five (5) square knock downs & one (1) ground popper (Stop Plate)... there will be a limit of five(5) rounds per magazine\, Required mag change during course of fire (anytime after first shot) Steel must fall to score... Any Stage equipment malfunction will result in a reshoot..\nShooters will face each other once and scores will be calculated for Wins & Losses\, any ties will be determined by head to head. Top Four(4) Shooters from each Squad will advance to the Finals (Double Elimination) on Pit 1...
