SUMMARY:Hyatt Presents - April Steel Challenge!
DESCRIPTION:Schedule of events:\nMatch sign-in ends at 11:30 am\nMatch safety brief – 11:30 am\nMatch start – 12:00 pm\nMatch Fee – $20 for members / $30 for non-members\nA Steel Challenge match requires a minimum of 195 to 200 rounds if all eight official stages are shot without missing any targets. However\, it is strongly recommended that a competitor brings between 300 to 400 rounds to a match to account for misses\, malfunctions\, and potential reshoots. Holsters are required for centerfire handguns.\nWhen you arrive at our range\, head to the Pro Shop and sign in\, and pay for the match. Then head down to the pistol bays to be present for the safety briefing.\nAll participants are expected to assist with match teardown\nWe run a cold range. Please ensure your weapon is unloaded and no magazine is installed when you arrive. There will be a safe area for handling firearms. No ammo will be allowed in the safe areas. All of our matches operate as cold range events. This means that all firearms must remain unloaded\, pistols holstered\, and rifles slung or placed in carts with a chamber flag fully inserted INTO THE CHAMBER of the firearm unless under the direct supervision of an RO or safely handled while in a designated safe area or function fire area. Transport of firearms during a match. When moving any firearm from one location to another (such as stage to stage)\, the firearm will be COMPLETELY unloaded. Handguns will be holstered or bagged\, and rifles will be slung\, fully cased\, or carted with a chamber flag or empty chamber indicator (ECI) properly inserted into the chamber of the firearm.\nFood and beverages will be available for purchase after the match at the After Clays Restaurant and Bar. Match Participants will receive a $5.00 Voucher for the Grill (No Alcohol\, 1 Voucher per competitor)! Ammo\, firearms\, and shooting supplies can be purchased at the pro shop. Match competitors are eligible to purchase a day pass for the discounted rate of $20.00 if they wish to stay and shoot at our facility after the match. Please purchase this at the Pro shop.\nFor more information\, please see the Steel Challenge Rule book: https://uspsa.org/documents/rules/current/2025-SCSA-Rulebook.pdf\nIf you have any questions\, please call us (704) 826-6014 or email edeconde@gmail.com
