SUMMARY:DEFCON - RUCK SHOOT REPEAT November 2026
DESCRIPTION:RUCK\, SHOOT\, REPEAT\nPresented by Defcon Tactical Fitness\nRuck\, Shoot\, Repeat (RSR) is a timed event that combines weighted rucking with precision rifle. The concept is simple: you have a fixed window to score as many points as you can. Ruck a loop\, shoot a rack\, repeat\, and decide how far to push before the fatigue catches up with you.\nDivisions\nChoose one division when you register.\nTactical - Targets at 100 Yards\, shots must be taken from a barricade\nMarksman - Targets at 300 Yards\, can engage from any position\nHow It Works\nYou'll have 45 minutes on the clock to score as many points as possible.\nRuck loop: Complete a loop on foot carrying a rucksack (provided by GORUCK)\, behind the firing line.\nShoot the rack: Return to your firing point and engage a Know Your Limits (KYL) steel rack (provided by Atlas Target Works) at the distance for your division. The rack runs from a 12-inch plate down to a 4-inch plate\, each one smaller than the last. Every plate you hit is worth one point.\nThe catch: you choose how far down the rack to go. Bank the points you've earned and head back out for another loop\, or keep pushing for more. But if you miss\, you lose every point from that string. Smaller plate\, bigger risk. Highest total score when the clock runs out wins.\nYour rifle\, along with all ammunition\, water\, and any supporting tools (shooting bags/lead sleds/emotional support mascots) must travel with you the entire time.\nWhat to Bring\nA zeroed rifle capable of engaging steel at 100 or 300 yards\, depending on your division\nMagazine(s)\nChamber flag (required to be in place while moving with the rifle)\nRecommended 140+ rounds (see ammunition requirements)\nEye and ear protection (required)\nClothing and footwear you can ruck in\nHydration and nutrition\nAmmunition Requirements\nTo protect the steel and everyone on the line\, only brass- or copper-jacketed lead ammunition is allowed. Prohibited: steel-core\, armor-piercing\, incendiary\, tracer\, and bi-metal or steel-jacketed rounds\, including M855/SS109 "green tip." Ammo may be magnet-checked. 3200 FPS limit on all calibers. For this event ammo will travel with you on the ruck. Make sure you pack enough!\nPrizes & Raffle ($950+ Prize Pool)\nEvery competitor who finishes earns an event shirt and a raffle ticket\, with additional tickets awarded by placement. Everyone has a shot at any prize in the pool and top finishers get the best odds.\nRegistration deadline to receive a t-shirt: 10/27/2026\nRefunds: Refunds will not be issued. Credits for future events will be at the sole discretion of the match director.\nThank you to our sponsors!
