SUMMARY:Organ Mountain Precision Rifle Match (Centerfire)
DESCRIPTION:This is not an official PRS match.  Beginner-friendly\, inaugural precision centerfire match by Picacho Gun Club.  5 stages with 1.5-2-minute par times (1 minute added for Bench Division).  Competitors should be prepared to engage targets from prone and various stable props.  COF is posted below\, under "Match Documents".  Please be sure to read all included documents thoroughly.  Target locations will also be known.  You will not be finding unknown targets on the clock.\n*While the COF is posted below\, minor match day changes may occur for target visibility and safety (targets 20 yards apart instead of the posted 25\, a few yards further\, a few yards closer etc.).  The barricades and positions will not change.  Ample time will be provided so that everyone can find each stages targets before beginning the COF*\nDate: August 30\, 2026\nLocation: Butterfield Silhouette Range (13500 Frontage Road Las Cruces\, NM 88007)\nRound Count:  40\nMax Caliber:  30 (All Divisions\, no magnums)\nSpeed Limit:  3\,200 ft/s (All Divisions\, no steel core/incendiary/tracer/monolithic projectiles)\nPaper will be available at 100 yards for zero verification from 0730-0815\nMandatory Safety Brief at 0815\nRounds down range 0830\n**1-3 overall trophies awarded immediately following the match**\nTargets will range from 100 to 600 yards and will be set in natural terrain.  Plan to carry all of your gear (about 150 yards total) during the match.  The range is cart friendly. Bring seasonally appropriate clothing\, as well as any extra food and water you may require.  Day of registration also available (space permitting).\nStandard PRS safety rules will apply.  Chamber flags or empty chamber indicators are required.\nAlthough not required\, shooters should bring a tripod\, rangefinder\, and binoculars to help locate targets/spot for other competitors.
