This is not a class; this is an opportunity to practice. If you cannot demonstrate a high level of safety with your guns downrange\, you may be asked to observe and not participate. It is highly recommended that you have taken Holster Fundamental class and / or USPSA safety class prior to attending.\nThis 2-3 hour session will provide an opportunity to practice fundamentals of safe handling in the context of competition. Whether you are looking to get into USPSA or Multigun\, this session will give you the opportunity to practice basic skills.\nYou will also develop skills to become an effective range officer (running the shot timer and the scoring pad). SUMMARY:Bristlecone Rimfire Challenge Practice Match - August 26th 2026
DESCRIPTION:* Check in on IPADS\n* Check in to match at range counter\n* Safety Brief: 7pm\nRimfire Challenge night is designed to get some additional practice with rimfires and have a bit of fun. This unsanctioned match will include two stages with approximately 50-100 rounds of ammunition being used. There will be 5 strings of fire per each stage\, best 4 of which will count\, with a Time Plus consideration. You will have to engage some steel plates with a stop plate that must be engaged at the end of each string.\nPlease remember to stop by the range to gun down before the competition - we run a cold range during the competition. Rifles must have chamber flags\, pistols do not require one. Holsters are not required for this event. Bagged firearms are welcome.\nThere are four divisions: optics pistol\, iron sights pistol\, optics rifle\, iron sights rifle. All platforms must be chambered in 22 LR only. No suppressors are allowed. It is recommended to have 4-5 magazines with you\, or a friend willing to load a magazine for you while you shoot.\nPrerequisites: Basic firearm handling skills. Once students demonstrate proficiency\, students will receive their USPSA safety card which allows them to shoot at matches! **This is not a live fire class.**\nRequired equipment:\n-  Semi-automatic magazine-fed handgun\n-  2 magazines\n-  OWB holster\n-  Magazine carrier\n-  Sturdy belt\n-  NO ammunition allowed in the classroom\nALL firearms MUST be cleared by Bristlecone staff prior to entering the classroom.\nA minimum of 3 students is required to run the class or it may be canceled/rescheduled.\nPLEASE WITHDRAW FROM THE CLASS USING YOUR PRACTISCORE ACCOUNT or cancelations must be made in writing (training@bristleconeshooting.com).\nCancelations received more than 72 hours prior to the class – students will be eligible for a full refund or reschedule to another class (moving the participant(s) to another class within a three-month period).\nCancelations received within the 24 to 72-hour window prior to the class – students will not be eligible for a refund\, but will be eligible for a one-time reschedule (moving the participant(s) to another class within a three-month period)\, for a $25 rescheduling fee.\nCancelations received less than 24 hours prior to the class or failure to attend the class – students will not receive a refund\, nor will they be eligible for rescheduling. DESCRIPTION:Pre-Requisites:\n*Formal training in the firearm platform you are shooting\n*Holster qualified (PCC Exempt)\n*Down range experience with your firearms\n*Pistol/PCC only\nYou should have some experience/understanding of competitive shooting.  This is not a class; this is an opportunity to practice. If you cannot demonstrate a high level of safety with your guns downrange\, you may be asked to observe and not participate. It is highly recommended that you have taken Holster Fundamental class and / or USPSA safety class prior to attending.\nThis 2-3 hour session will provide an opportunity to practice fundamentals of safe handling in the context of competition. Whether you are looking to get into USPSA or Multigun\, this session will give you the opportunity to practice basic skills.\nYou will also develop skills to become an effective range officer (running the shot timer and the scoring pad). This session is geared towards the shooter that is starting out in competition and wants to:\n• Work on getting their USPSA safety card (no card is issued until you have completed the USPSA Safety course)\n• Practice basics\n• Learn/Practice range officer duties (clock and scoring)\nRecommended Equipment:\n• Minimum 200+ rounds of ammunition for each platform you are bringing.\n• Sturdy Belt & Holster.\n• Rifles & PCC's must have a chamber flag.\n If you have any questions\, please contact Filipp at fdedogryuk@bristleconeshooting.com\nA minimum of 3 students is required to run the class or it may be canceled/rescheduled.\nPlease arrive 15 minutes prior to class to properly check in and sign the waiver.
