DESCRIPTION:Pre-Requisites:\n*Formal training in the firearm platform you are shooting\n*Holster qualified\n*Down range experience with your firearms\n*Pistol/Rifle/PCC only\nYou should have some experience/understanding of competitive shooting.  This is not a class; this is an opportunity to practice.  If you cannot demonstrate a high level of safety with your guns downrange\, you may be asked to observe and not participate. It is highly recommended that you have taken Holster Fundamental class and or USPSA safety class prior to attending\nThis 2-3 hour session will provide an opportunity to practice fundamentals of safe handling in the context of competition. Whether you are looking to get into USPSA or Multigun\, this session will give you the opportunity to practice basic skills.\nYou will also develop skills to become an effective range officer (running the shot timer and the scoring pad). SUMMARY:Bristlecone Rimfire Challenge Practice Match - June 24 2026
DESCRIPTION:* Check in on IPADS\n* Check in to match at range counter\n* Safety Brief: 7pm\nRimfire Challenge night is designed to get some additional practice with rimfires and have a bit of fun. This unsanctioned match will include two stages with approximately 50-100 rounds of ammunition being used. There will be 5 strings of fire per each stage\, best 4 of which will count\, with a Time Plus consideration. You will have to engage some steel plates with a stop plate that must be engaged at the end of each string.\nPlease remember to stop by the range to gun down before the competition - we run a cold range during the competition. Rifles must have chamber flags\, pistols do not require one. Holsters are not required for this event. Bagged firearms are welcome.\nThere are four divisions: optics pistol\, iron sights pistol\, optics rifle\, iron sights rifle. All platforms must be chambered in 22 LR only. No suppressors are allowed. It is recommended to have 4-5 magazines with you\, or a friend willing to load a magazine for you while you shoot.\nPrerequisites: Basic firearm handling skills. Must attend safety meeting in order to shoot.\nRequired materials: Firearm\, 4-5 magazines recommended\, 50-100 rounds\, eye and hearing protection\, range appropriate clothing.\nIf you have any questions\, please feel free to contact us at training@bristleconeshooting.com.\nA minimum of 8 people is required to run the event.  *** Discount codes are not available for this course.
