SUMMARY:Thurmont IDPA Sun April 19 Match
DESCRIPTION:Thurmont welcomes you to the monthly IDPA club match! This month Cody Claxton will the match. Depending on registrations and the weather we are hoping for 4-8 stages in 2-4 bays or more (10 stages per 2 shooters). $20 unless you are assisting with setup or a SO working the match. Please bring exact change. Setup is scheduled Saturday and anyone who volunteers to attend setup will have their fee waived. if you are able to come for set up. Everyone is expected to arrive by 8:30AM on match day and stay until all materials are stowed and trash taken out and brass collected. For New Shooters please email cclaxton@verizon.net.. You may be required to attend a formal training class or an orientation. Arrive no later than 8:30AM\, registration 8-830AM with safety brief shortly after and hammer down by 9am. We run a cold range\, so do not bring loaded and holstered guns unless you are LE or legal carrier\, then notify the Match Director when arriving so we can unload you at the appropriate time. Guns are only to be handled at the safe tables or under the direct supervision of an SO. No gunning up at your vehicles. And no ammo at the safe tables. There is to be no steel\, green tip or tracer ammo. Pistol Caliber Carbines and Carry Optics will be allowed at this match. Muzzle-up reloads with a finger in the trigger guard are a DQ at our range. Please note we are required by IDPA HQ to restrict the use of Sig P320 firearms.
