If in a cart the muzzle is reasonably vertical (pointing down)\, and a chamber flag is in place. A flagged carbine is treated the same as a holstered pistol\, except for sweeping rules.\n• Uncasing the carbine may be done in a safe area\, or against a side berm or backstop.\n• When a competitor is called to the line to shoot\, they may carry an empty\, with chamber flag\, PCC muzzle up or muzzle down\, or the PCC may be cased.\n• After "Hammer down and Flag"\, with an empty with chamber flag PCC\, the competitor can immediately re-case the PCC or carry the PCC as stated above.
