Rifle calibers MUST be suppressed (PCCs ok without suppressor - longest required shots ~150yds at night).  Identification lights visible front+back MUST be worn during the ENTIRE match (front light may be doused/stowed during shooting only) - some loaners are available.  Free dry camping will be available\, with restrictions (on DCSC property: no open flame\, no alcohol/marijuana\, no shooting outside the match).  Some stage procedures may differ night/day\, and we may have 1 extra stage in the day match (TBD).

Hosted at the Deer Creek Shooting Center\, competitors shoot steel targets as quickly as they can with any of a variety of guns (.22LR or 9mm/centerfire\, pistols or .22 rifle/PCC). Competitors only need to complete 1 stage to appear in the results\, and may shoot any of 8 different stages during the match. Entry is $10. All rules and other info\, such as what equipment and ammunition is allowed\, can be found at https://mash406.org/SpeedSteel. First-time competitors are **required** to attend a free safety orientation at 10am the day of their first match. DESCRIPTION:BSPSC 2026 May Rimfire Challenge is a Level 1 match and will have 6 stages of Steel for Pistol & Rifle.  22LR ammo ONLY.\nSemi automatic\, magazine fed\, Pistols or Rifles - Limited (Iron sights) or Open (Optics). All starts will be low ready. Limit of 2 entries per person. Recommend a minimum of 5 magazines & 200 rounds ammo per firearm.\nNOTE: If you need a loaner pistol or rifle you can email bspsc.rm1@gmail.com to see if we still have any available.\nIf using a loaner firearm you will still be required to register the firearm for the match\, pay the fee and provide your own .22lr ammo.\nWe are doing morning of match set up beginning at 8 am.
