DESCRIPTION:Sharp Practical Shooters - September USPSA Match - Outdoors a Fernan Rod & Gun Club. We have switched to the FIRST Sunday of the month instead of our old fourth Sunday.\nCome join us for our first SPS club match at the wonderful FR&GC facility. We will be having 4-5 stages and a possible classifier.\nRange will be Open at 7am\, please be at the range ready to help setup at 7:15am\, DONT BE LATE match will start once all stages are setup and ready. New shooters to the sport are welcome. New shooters meeting at 8:15am.\nSomeone will be appointed to oversee setup for each bay. Check in and sign the required waiver then help setup. SUMMARY:DACSC: SFC Dustin Ard Commemorative Steel Challenge (4th Annual)
DESCRIPTION:The DACSC is the 4th Annual steel shooting competition dedicated to Sergeant First Class Dustin Ard\, a Green Beret who was KIA in 2019. All proceeds from this event will support the Special Forces Brotherhood and our communities. To learn more visit us at our website https://www.sfa43.org/\nThis match is a pistol-only Action Steel match scored using Time Plus. Stages will vary and consist of knock-down steel and static steel. Some stages will require movement\, reloading\, etc. Competitors are required to have a suitable belt and holster for their handgun\, and it is recommended to have several spare magazines and a way to carry them securely.\nThere are only two divisions for this match:\nIrons - Handgun with no optical sighting equipment\, minimum caliber of 9mm\, maximum caliber 45acp\nOptics - Handgun with slide-mounted optical sight (red dot)\, minimum caliber of 9mm\, maximum caliber 45acp\nRestrictions include no frame-mounted optics\, no aftermarket compensators. Factory compensator/barrel porting is allowed.\nThe match will have 9 stages with a minimum round count of around 300\, it is recommended to bring at least 500 rounds.\nFRGC operates as a "cold range" during match days. Be sure to arrive with your handgun unloaded. Handguns are required to be kept in-holster at all times unless at a safety table or under the direct supervision of a range officer. Safety tables will be provided for bagging/unbagging your handgun\, handling of ammunition at a safety table is strictly prohibited.\nPayment is required at time of registration and is required to select your squad position. If the match is not full\, walk-on registrations may be allowed on match day\, but squad assignments for walk-ons will be at the discretion of match registration staff.\nAs this match is a charity fundraising event\, refunds will not be offered at any point. If you register and are unable to attend\, please withdraw as normal\, your registration fee is appreciated as a donation to the organization. All proceeds will go to serve local veterans and gold star families.
