ArmaLite’s AR-50A1B is a single shot bolt action rifle chambered for the powerful 50 BMG cartridge and features a unique octagonal receiver bedded down into a V-shaped stock. Designed to be an economical answer for the challenge of long range shooting the AR-50A1 is amazingly accurate and with its massive muzzle brake it has a very manageable recoil. It has a 30″ heavy profile chrome moly barrel Multi-Flute Recoil Check muzzle device and Shilen Standard single-stage trigger with an approximate 5-pound pull. The 3-section stock has an extruded forend machined grip with a vertical grip and a removable buttstock allowing for increased portability when traveling. The front sight base has a modified octagonal form grilled and slotted for MIL-STD 1913 scope rail with Boss to engage cross-slot on the receiver. The AR-50A1 has black hard anodized aluminum and manganese phosphated steel finishes. It includes a 15-Minute Sight Base and ear plugs. This GGG model includes the extremely rugged and versatile GG&G bipod.
