SUMMARY:King of 2 Miles Global Finals
DESCRIPTION:The King of 2 Miles (Ko2M) is the premier extreme long-range (ELR) rifle competition\, designed to push shooters\, equipment\, and ballistic science to their absolute limits. Bringing together many of the most skilled marksmen in the world\, Ko2M is widely regarded as the pinnacle test of precision shooting out to two miles.\n Held in a high-desert environment to maximize visibility and minimize atmospheric density\, the match challenges competitors to engage steel targets at distances extending from approximately 2000 to 3\,520 yards (2 miles). At these ranges\, even minor variations in wind\, temperature\, or density altitude can result in misses measured in dozens of feet\, making environmental reading as critical as marksmanship.\n Rifles up to 50 pounds and 50 BMG are allowed however suppressed rifles may weigh up to 55 pounds. Calibers under 338 are not permitted and calibers over .512 require special approval.\nThe competition unfolds over three days:\n -Qualification Rounds: Shooters engage progressively increasing distances\, starting around 2000 yards and extending outward with a hit to move progression. Each member of the 2-man team shoots their preliminary round on different days. Performance here determines who advances to the finals.\n -Finals: The top competitors from each qualification day move on to the second stage\, with targets ranging from about 3000 yards out to two miles. Targets are 5 shots each and are shot with hit to move progression.\n Victory at Ko2M represents the highest achievement in extreme long-range shooting—a demonstration of mastery of environmental effects\, equipment and fundamental shooting skills at distances once thought impractical.\n Two companion matches precede Ko2M at the NRA Whittington Center and due to their limited capacity\, preference in registration will be given to Ko2M shooters. King’s Cup on the 22nd with follow standard Light Gun rules:\nhttps://practiscore.com/king-s-cup/register\nKing’s Gambit on the 23rd will follow standard Heavy Gun rules:\nhttps://practiscore.com/king-s-gambit/register\nComplete rules can be found here:\nhttps://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1j77pbbuz45fglonuj58b/ELR-Foundation-Rules-2026.pdf?rlkey=6p6johnh86dmw2fbzgnbzyomm&dl=0\n Junior shooters (age 12 to 17) shoot for free. Contact us for a free registration link. Parents may act as spotters for their kids without giving up their ability to spot for their regular teammate.

SUMMARY:First Responder Steel Challenge

A Steel Challenge Match is a type of action shooting competition where participants use handguns or rifles to engage a series of steel targets arranged in specific stage layouts. The sport is designed to test speed\, accuracy\, and consistency.\nFormat: Each match consists of several standardized stages\, each with 5 steel targets (four primary plates and one "stop plate"). The stop plate ends the timer for each run. You can see/download diagrams of our match stages by clicking on "Stages" button below.\nScoring: Competitors shoot each stage multiple times (called "strings")\, and their fastest times are recorded. The lowest total time across all stages determines the winner.\nDivisions: Matches include different equipment divisions (such as rimfire pistol\, centerfire pistol\, rimfire rifle\, and pistol-caliber carbine)\, so shooters of all ages and skill levels can compete fairly. Most duty pistols fall into the "Production" or "Carry Optic" division and are very popular in Steel Challenge.\nAppeal: Unlike other shooting sports\, Steel Challenge uses fixed target setups\, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced competitors. The immediate feedback of hitting steel targets (with an audible “ping”) adds excitement and makes the sport spectator-friendly.\nIn short\, a Steel Challenge Match is a fast-paced\, family-friendly shooting competition focused on speed and precision against steel targets.\nWhether you are a competitive shooter or new to the sport\, this is a great opportunity to test your speed and accuracy while supporting youth shooting sports in our community. SUMMARY:SHOOT SIG - Tri-County Gun Club
DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re new to shooting competitions or an experienced competitor\, you’ll enjoy 3 approachable stages that can be completed with less than 100 rounds and in under an hour. Compete again in the same or another division for a discounted match fee. Bring any pistol or PCC or try out a new SIG pistol or PCC for an additional fee. You must be a SHOOT SIG member and shoot a SIG firearm to be eligible for prizes.\n*NOTE: If you want to shoot in more than one Division or multiple entries in a single Division\, you must first complete your initial registration and pay the initial $45 match fee. Then\, you must register for each additional entry and select "Additional Division" under Extras in the payment information section to receive the discounted match fee of $25. Each additional entry in this manner will allow you to pick a respective Division and Squad; this will result in multiple registrations for the same match being displayed under your PractiScore dashboard profile.\n**NOTE: As a reminder\, we operate using a "cold range" principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box or holster until you are under the direct supervision of a SHOOT SIG Range Officer and have been instructed to "load and make ready" on a prescribed course of fire. If you are planning to shoot the match with your carry gun and you arrive to the range with a loaded (hot) firearm\, we will have designated safe areas clearly marked where you can safely unload your firearm prior to checking in. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of your scheduled start time to allow enough time to check in at the registration booth. Once you have checked in and are assigned a SHOOT SIG Range Officer with your respective squad\, further instructions will be provided to you regarding when and where you can load your magazines\, and/or function check your firearm (if needed).\n***NOTE: Online Registration will close at 8 a.m. on Friday\, September 25th. Walk-up registrations will be permitted during the main match from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

SUMMARY:RAGE Series (Run and Gun Extreme) - 2 gun Intrepid defense Match #4
DESCRIPTION:Intrepid Defense Range Complex is proud to present a hard-charging\, five-match 2-Gun Series throughout 2026 — built to push your shooting ability\, fitness\, and mental performance under pressure. Each match will feature a mix of technical bay stages and expansive field stages\, designed to challenge every aspect of the modern shooter. Expect fast\, aggressive stages that demand precise marksmanship at distance\, rapid transitions\, and controlled movement under stress. Bring a sling for your Rifle\, you will need it.\nThe first four events in the series will each consist of 8 stages\, blending short\, high-intensity bays with longer\, open-terrain courses that test endurance and decision-making. The final championship event will raise the bar with 10 stages\, combining everything from speed shooting to extended-range problem-solving. All matches will use Hit Factor scoring\, rewarding the perfect balance of accuracy and speed — the faster and cleaner you shoot\, the higher you score.\nThis series will challenge both skill and stamina. Competitors can expect to run between shooting positions\, manage gear\, and shoot from a variety of positions while moving. Physical fitness will be a key component\, as several stages incorporate light movement tasks and realistic stress elements. Accuracy at distance\, control on the move\, and efficient gun handling will all be tested throughout the series.\nThere are two divisions: Open and Tactical.\nRestrictions on calibers for all divisions - Rifle is .223 or .556 only\nPistol is 9mm / 40 cal / 45\nOpen Division: No restrictions — build and run whatever setup you prefer.\nTactical Division: Designed for practical rifle setups and kit use. Rifles max barrel length is 18 inch barrel\, 10× optic or less\, and a 30-round magazine limit. Tactical competitors are also required to wear kit weighing at least 10 lbs. There are no restrictions on pistols in either division.\nEvery event at Intrepid Defense emphasizes safety\, sportsmanship\, and professionalism. Stages are designed and staffed by experienced range officers\, with full medical coverage and clear stage briefs. Registration details\, match dates\, and prize information will be released as each match approaches — spots will be limited.\nThe Intrepid Defense 2-Gun Series is not just another competition — it’s a proving ground for the complete shooter. Whether your goal is to refine your performance under stress\, test your kit\, or compete against the best\, this five-match series will deliver one of the most challenging and rewarding 2-Gun experiences of the year. Train hard\, shoot fast\, and we’ll see you on the line.
