DESCRIPTION:In celebration of our country's 250th Birthday we will ring it in with a massive falling steel stage the morning of July 4th. It will be epic!\nLocation:\n20500 Forest Woods Lane\nMontgomery\, TX 77356\nThe schedule is as follows.\n0900 22 and 9mm show up\n1100 shotgun show up\nOr show up when your free.\nEnd time is 1200.\n$15 per division or team run. Sign up in multiple divisions!\nHad to increase the cost a little for the amount of paint this is taking;)\nOne giant red\, white and blue stage. 115 plus targets with all my Texas Stars. All steel must be shot from appropriate color box to score. Shotgun and Shotgun teams will shoot last and color does not apply. Bring a few Slugs for shotgun.\nRESETTING IS REQUIRED  \nNOT PLANNING ON LOANER GUNS.\nThree colored shooting boxes. Must shoot targets from appropriate  color box. All shooting boxes will be behind a 6 foot table. You may stage guns and mags on the table. There will be dump buckets for pistols and rifles. Bring however many guns and mags you will need for 115+ targets. After we finish building the stage the target number may increase. All pistol calibers 22LR and shotgun are welcome. If you do not have enough mags and guns\, bring a friend! We will have a team division. Shotgun and Shotgun team will shoot after all other division as they will clear the paint off the steel and will not be held to color as targets will overlap. DESCRIPTION:BRRC is happy to announce the July 2026 Precision Rifle Match.\nOur Precision Rifle matches will consist 6-7 stages with targets up to 1016 yards. The round count will be around 75. Stages will simulate field conditions and appropriate for all skill levels.\nEquipment:  Rifle equipped with an optic that will allow you to locate and engage targets\, and other shooting gear you like to use. Rangefinders\, spotting scopes\, binoculars\, shooting rests are all acceptable.\nAmmunition limitation:  30 caliber maximum.  Maximum muzzle velocity of 3500 FPS. It is for new or partly experienced shooters\, shooters without fundamentals and rifle set up\, or shooters that need to remove bad habits to progress. A large percentage of the work a Long Range Shooter does is at 100 yards\, such as zero\, scope ladder tests\, scope box tests\, ammo development etc. This is done at 100 yards because you want to remove all the variables. Fundamentals are what all skills and experience are built on top of and learning them will give you a solid foundation for Parts 2 & 3 of this course to shoot out to 1000 yards.\nCovered are set up of your rifle\, ammo\, scope\, trigger\, bipod\, rear bag\, recoil management\, sight picture\, safety\, and fundamentals are taught on this course. The aim will be to train shooters to be able to consistently shoot 5 round groups of 1 MOA or less\, which is a general requirement of long range matches.\nWhat this course is:\n- Learn rifle marksmanship principles and long range shooting fundamentals\, set up of your rifle\, and fitment of your rifle to become a safe and accurate shooter. Learn to shoot zeroed and centred groups every time based on the capability of your equipment\, ammo\, and ability. If you learn to shoot a small centered repeatable group at 100 yards\, you can hit at 1000 yards\, once you learn elevation\, wind and secondary effects. This is applicable to competition and hunting.\nWhat this course is not:\n- It is not a “Intro to shooting” type course.\nIt is specifically for Long Range Rifle fundamentals as a platform to build further skills and experience on top of\, to progress to the next level.\nWhat you will learn at the Course:\n- Shoot up to 100 rounds & learn to shoot small groups that are centred\, and how to quickly set up your scope and slip turrets to enact a zero.\n- Learn how to set up your rifle for best fit and results\, and about ammo choices that make you consistent\, and what equipment will give you more consistency.\n- Learn Long Range Fundamentals and apply them to your shooting.\nWhat you Need to attend:\n1. SUMMARY:2026 PRS New England Regional Rimfire Finale
DESCRIPTION:This is the Regional Finale for New England. There will be a "train-up" day Saturday the 22nd with props and a chance to check the layout of the field. Sunday is Match day. There will be 12 stages of fire\, unique props and target arrays. After the conclusion of the match there will be a dinner served and the award ceremony.\nThe Saturday "train-up" day will be open from 9 am -4pm. The Props will be available for participants to use\, steel will be placed on the range for practice. The COF will be available after 4pm for the match on Sunday. The range will be closed down after that for setup. I would like to ask that the participants stay off the range at that time\, to keep it as fair and balanced for the actual match.\nThere is limited RV and camping on site. Please contact me ahead of time and give some details if you plan on staying overnight on site. There is a full clubhouse with bathrooms\, and a bar for after shooting hours. There is no drinking and shooting during training day or match. Period! But all are more than welcome to utilize the amenities as needed.\nAreas of the parking lot will be roped off for squad access during the weekend.\nThere is Lodging in the area\, I would recommend reaching out ahead of time to book your rooms if you are traveling in for the weekend.\nI'm going to do my best to have a fair and fun match. We in New England travel a lot and work our tails off to prove to the rest of the country that we have the best shooters available!
