And you still get the discount too.\nA match book will probably be posted a few days before the match.\nThe Schultz Clubhouse will be open after the match and will be serving gourmet frozen pizzas\, soft drinks\, malted beverages\, and comradery is encouraged. And... the heat will be on too.\nCheck in opens on Sunday at about 8:15am and closes at 8:45am. New shooter's orientation is at 8:45am and a quick Shooter's meeting will be at 8:55am. The Club's main gate is locked at 8:50am. First rounds down range at about 9am. SHOOTING STARTS AT 9AM.\nYou must be checked in by 8:50am or you will be withdrawn from the match.\nMatch fees are $40 for the community and $35 for Schultz or NISA members. The Saturday morning set up crew will receive discounted match fees and the ability to preregister. Anyone is welcome to help setup on Saturday morning and receive the setup discount. SUMMARY:BWA Oct 2026 Steel Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Brandon Wildlife Association’s Steel Challenge\nThis is a Steel Challenge Match featuring multiple divisions including Pistol open\, Pistol iron sights\, Rimfire open and Rimfire Iron sights\, There will be Six to Eight stages\, and the suggested round count will be 150-200rds. It should be noted that these counts are rounded above what you will explicitly need if you shot the match without a single miss\, but bringing these amounts should keep give you some wiggle room should you be less than perfectly accurate. We will be using bays 2-5\,with a max range of 50 yards.\nAll firearms must be OIC compliant. It is recommended you watch the Brandon Wildlife Association Facebook page to keep updated.\nThe match will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday with final registration\, squading and payment open until 9:30 A.M. Match brief will be at 9:30 A.M. with stage walk-throughs and shooting by 10:00 A.M.\nSet up for the match will be Saturday evening starting at 5:00 P.M.\, and if you could bring a drill it would be appreciated. Registration is $30 but helping setup will knock $10 off of your registration fee.\nDon’t forget to dress for the weather\, and to bring snacks and plenty of water.

SUMMARY:Iowa Precision Rifle Match FINALE (IPRM) - Oct 2026
DESCRIPTION:Iowa Precision Rifle Match (IPRM) is an Entry level PRS style match. This series is designed to help shooters get started in PRS with a low competition level\, low gear requirements\, and coaching along the way. If you want to shoot your first PRS style match this is the place for you.\nMatch Format\nThese matches will have 6 to 8 stages. Each stage you will have a designated course of fire set by the match director and have 8 to 10 shots at each. The course of fire will give you defined positions you need to shoot from (prone\, barricade\, tree\, roof top) and which target you need to shoot on the stage (Target #1\, 5 targets in a row\, targets biggest to smallest). The distance to each target will be provided in the course of fire. The stage could have one position and three or four different targets\, or it might have four positions and one target. At each stage you will have time before shooting to find each target\, write out your drop data\, make a preliminary wind call\, and create a stage plan to execute the course of fire. Once it's your turn to shoot you will have 2 min to complete the stage. Any shots after 2 min do not count towards your score.\nScoring\nScores are tracked per shooter. (no teams). You will receive one point for each impact on the correct steel target during each stage.\nSquads\nThe morning of the match we'll divide up into squads and shoot each stage together. Shooters in the squad will take turns shooting in the order provided. Once all the shooters in the squad have shot the squad will move as a group to the next stage. Shooters in each squad will be asked to help "judge" the match. Shooters will need to keep track of the 2 min time limit\, spot for impacts\, and keep score of how many targets are hit. Shooters are encouraged to help the squad with these duties while not shooting to keep the match moving faster.\nSuggested Gear (Rentals available too)\nWe recommend you come to your first match with minimal gear and see what other shooters are using. Don’t spend a ton of money on gear that is not right for this style of shooting. Ask to borrow gear when you don’t have it. Everyone is there to help everyone.\nRifle with a scope that has exposed turrets. (first focal plane recommended)\n80 rounds of ammunition\nConfirmed Ballistic Data for your rifle and ammunition to 600yds (farther is better)\nBipod\nRear Bag\nData holder for stage targets (mounted on rifle or quarterback arm bar)\nPositional bag\nHearing Protection\nClothing appropriate for the weather\nTripod with binoculars or spotting scope (optional)\nSnacks or lunch as food is not typically provided. DESCRIPTION:5 Stages of Steel\, at least 4 stages will be regulation. Match starts at 9am and check-in closes at 0830. Be sure to arrive early to check-in\, you will not be able to participate if you are not checked in.  Sign ups are online only\, limited walk-Ins will be accepted only if the match is not full. The Club is using STRIPE to process payments via Practiscore.\nLIMITED REGISTRATION - In an effort to allow more participants we are limiting each person to one registration (Division\, gun) per match\, do not register for more once for the match .  In addition\,  you are not allowed to make a reservation in your name and then change it to someone elses name afterward.\nTo participate in a Steel Challenge match at the Diablo Pistol Action range you must have successfully completed our Orientation/Safety Class (we do not currently accept classes from other ranges) or have a current USPSA /IDPA /SCSA/ICORE classification above the level of "U". In addition each participant needs to bring or have a photo of the current 2026 USI waiver range card to shoot at the range. If you do not have a current card go to https://unitedsportsmen.com/waiver/ to sign the waiver online prior to the match. We can issue temporary waiver cards at the match if you have completed the online portion.
