Stay to the left and take the Fernan Lake Road through the Fernan Lake Village and around the lake. This is a scenic ride around the lake and through the country past farms and fields\, for approximately 6 miles. You will see the USFS trail head and a large paved parking lot on the left (North) side of the road. The entrance to FRGC is directly across the road from the USFS trail head. Drive down the entrance road approximately 100 yards and you will see the large FRGC gate which will be open\, so just drive through and follow the road to the large parking area on the right. \nFrom all points East - Take I-90 to Exit 15/Fernan (Not to be confused with the 15th Street Exit!). Take Exit 15 down to the light. Turn right at the light and the USFS Fernan Ranger Station will be on the right hand. Follow the directions above to the FRGC range.\nSee map on range website.  Google maps (as of November 2022) shows the range address in the woods east of the entrance road and gate.
