SUMMARY:Pocatello Shotgun Run and Gun
DESCRIPTION:Multigun style run and gun SHOTGUN ONLY match woohoo! Finally a place where shotgunners can unite in a game of who can load it fastest! Courses of fire will include a lot of steel\, flying clays\, and some slug targets. Sorry given I only have two bays this match is truly shotgun only (no PCCs/Pistols/Rimfire/etc.).\nThis event will take place in Gulleyville (the old western town at the range) with an 8:30am sign in followed by a safety briefing and shooting by 9:00am. I'm planning on 4 stages but where we only have Gulleyville we will need to re-configure the two bays after everyone completes the first two stages (this won't take long\, I have the stages designed in such a way it should be quick to do and the stages still different enough to be worth it). This will most likely result in larger squads so be ready to jeer on your buddies while you wait!\nI'm figuring a box of shells per stage so plan on bringing at least 100 birdshot (#6 birdshot or smaller\, no steel shot) and 5 slugs + slugs for spinner bonus. If you plan on missing a lot like I do you may want to bring some extras! There will of course be a slug spinner bonus at 70ish yards so plan on however many slugs you need for that if you plan to take it on! Don't sweat it if you can't carry that many shells on you\, I will try and have it setup in such a way that we can stage a box of shells on the course of fire.\n$10 entry fee for the event and $5 guest fee applies for non-members of the range.\nContact Josh Dalton at j.dalton203@gmail.com if you need additional information or have questions.

SUMMARY:2026-09-19 1Gun (EDS) at Phoenix Rod and Gun Club
DESCRIPTION:There will be 6'ish mini-stages\, each built around everyday defensive scenarios (EDS) with lower round counts. These stages might involve situations like a carjacking attempt by multiple attackers (i.e. 4-5) or a home-invasion scenario with several intruders (i.e. 6-8). Every stage is intentionally short\, close-range\, and very fast—designed to reflect the kinds of threats a person could realistically face.\nWhile no stage can truly replicate real life\, the goal is to make them feel far more “real-world”. These stages focus on practical\, defensive decision-making under stress.\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for Advanced classification or above.\n1Gun is designed to combine the well liked aspects from the different shooting sports\, with dynamic stages and simpler rules. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.\n$22 with a $9 discount for verified PRGC members.

SUMMARY:NRL22 Canada - Sherwood Park Fish and Game in Alberta - Sept COF on September 19 2026
DESCRIPTION:The NRL22 is a fun and cost effective way to get into precision rifle shooting! The group at SPFGA are easy-going and more than happy to welcome both new- and guest-shooters.\nThis is a .22lr event shooting off of various barricades and props\, at target sizes ranging from .25" to 6" at varying distances.\nGear requirements: .22lr (bolt-action or semi-auto) with a detachable box magazine with 1 magazine\, 2 would be preferred. A magnified optic is not required\, though is strongly recommended.\n!!!!!!!! New for 2025 at Sherwood Park Fish & Game NRL22 events !!!!!!!!\nThere will be an extra practice stage set up\, in addition to the five from that month’s course of fire. This stage is intended for new competitors\, and those still learning the ropes alike\, to practice fundamentals before the match begins. If you intend to make use of this practice stage\, please plan to be at the range for 9:00am (an hour before the match begins)\, and notify one of the match director’s in advance to ensure your access to the facilities. Additionally\, we understand there is an element of intimidation to those first few matches\, and we encourage potentially shy shooters not to worry this community is very helpful and you are in great company to learn.\nNo rifle\, no ammo? No problem! We understand that this is an expensive shooting sport to begin with\, and acquiring gear up front can be intimidating and costly. We are able to provide a loaner rifle\, supplementary ammunition and any other necessary gear for first-time shooters. We are happy to offer this for the first few matches for new shooters\, though please do not abuse our charity! If you will require a loaner rifle\, please contact one of the match director’s in advance.\n-8:00am: match setup (feel free to show up early and pitch in!)\n-9:00am: Match briefing and zero\n-10:00am: monthly NRL22 match begins\n-matches will proceed rain or shine\, unless otherwise notified\n-Round count: 75 minimum\n-Safety equipment: hearing protection and chamber flag\n-Note: Non-members must pay a once-per-day $25 guest fee to access the SPFGA property.
