DESCRIPTION:Sharpshooters Indoor Range Bowling Pin Competition Match (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete in shooting 5 bowling pins off a tabletop from their respective sides\, using revolvers with 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5\, up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 20 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 3 separate classes\, Minor (380\, 9mm\, 38 Sp)\, Major (357 Mag or Sig\, 10mm\, 45 Auto) caliber\, and PCC. No 44 Mag or other similar or large magnum calibers. No Rifle calibers are allowed. Any sighting system is allowed. A SharpShooter's Match/Range pass is presented to each class winner. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page.\nMinimum Equipment: Revolver\, Holster or gun rug or range bag\, eye and ear protection. Sign up on the Squad listed for your division. If you want to shoot more than 1 division\, you will need to sign separately for each one. There will be a $5 fee for all additional divisions. You may only shoot in 2 divisions.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with up to 10 rds to break the tie. If all pins are knocked down in a tie\, 2 pins will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. If they tie again\, an additional pin will be set up for the next tie-breaker round.

DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Steel Challenge at Mill Creek Rifle Club\, De Soto\, KS.  3 stages in the evening. Right now I am limiting registration to 1 gun\, depending on how squads fill up I will send out an email if adding a second gun is possible .  $10 match fee for adults.  $5 each for a second gun if room allows.  Pre-teens and Juniors 13-17 $5 match fee for first gun.  Payment for now will be accepted at the range beginning at 5:00pm on match day .  New competitor orientation at 5:30pm.  Shooters meetings at 5:45pm.  Match begins at 6:00pm.  We will try to keep squads together but it may be necessary to move shooters to make sure there are RO's available on each squad. New shooters need to volunteer to learn how to run the tablet and or timer and everyone not on deck\, shooting\, or loading magazines needs to be helping paint. If everyone helps we should be able to finish a stage in approx 30 min to be able to finish in a timely manner.

DESCRIPTION:The 7th annual Red Oktober Cold War action rifle match will be hosted by RioMultigun during the first weekend of October.\nThis year\, you can look forward to the same successful format as in previous years\, with stages designed specifically for the weapons of the Cold Warrior. There will be 8 challenging run-n-gun rifle-only stages with targets ranging from 1 meter to 300 meters. Ammo count is expected to be around 250 rounds (please note that bimetal ammo is prohibited at this match).\nThe match will be run under IMA Competition rules (Time-Plus with Points) with ROCW equipment divisions as follows:\n• ComBloc Irons: Any autoloading rifle derived from a Cold War-era Warsaw Pact/Eastern Bloc weapon. Iron sights only. Magazines limited to 30 rounds.\n• Free World Irons: Any autoloading rifle derived from a Cold War-era NATO/Western Bloc weapon. Iron sights only. Magazines limited to 30 rounds.\n• Battle Rifle Irons: Any autoloading rifle derived from a Cold War-era battle rifle. Battle rifle calibers only. Iron sights only. Magazines limited to 20 rounds.\n• ComBloc Open: Any autoloading rifle derived from a Warsaw Pact/Eastern Bloc weapon. Optics allowed. No other restrictions.\n• EuroTrash: Any autoloading bullpup rifle. Optics allowed. No other restrictions.\nComBloc Irons and Open competitors shooting 7.62x39 and similar calibers may select the "ComBloc Heavy" category. The 250-power factor requirement will be enforced with a chronograph.\nFollowing competitor feedback\, this year we will be offering the option to shoot the match over two half-days (Saturday & Sunday) instead of having to complete the whole match in one day\, which some of you tell us can be hard going. There will also be limited slots available for competitors wanting to shoot with staff on Friday. Please indicate which squadding options are acceptable to you on the registration form below - we will adjust the squadding schedule to accommodate everyone's preferences as best we can before the withdrawal deadline.\nIf you have a "squad me with..." request\, please email Steph prior to registration opening on Monday\, March 23rd at 8am so she can make sure you get squadded with your family and friends.\nPrize bags will be distributed by random draw as squads cycle through the demo stage.
