SUMMARY:SPS USPSA 2026 GRAND FINALE
DESCRIPTION:The last SPS match of the year!\nRIMFIRE SHOOTERS ARE NOW PERMITTED!\nFolks wanting to bring their 22lr gun and shoot rimfire at a USPSA match are welcomed here as long as they follow the same safety standards as people shooting centerfire. This is intended for those who are looking to get into USPSA and don't want to shoot centerfire\, or those who have difficulties shooting centerfire. If you can and have the ability to shoot a centerfire gun\, please shoot a centerfire gun. There will be some caveats as rimfire shooters will not be able to classify in any official USPSA divisions and any steel will also have to be repainted before a rimfire shooter shoots a stage. Rimfire shooter's scores will be deleted from the match before upload\, but an email will be sent out before with all of the scores. If you want to shoot rimfire\, please choose either the (Rimfire Rifle) or (Rimfire Pistol) divisions.\nThis match will be held at the Sheridan County Sportsmen's Association Pistol Pit Complex. Match sign-in\, match day payment\, and set-up will begin at 8:00AM\, all those wishing to help set-up are always welcomed.\nThere will be a mandatory safety briefing at 10:00AM and the match will begin\nWe will shoot 5 USPSA stages.\nMinimum round count for the match is undetermined as of (7/30)\, please come back here in the future for a round count.\nThe match will follow USPSA Rules. Shooters are responsible for being in compliance with equipment requirements mandated by the rules for the division they choose to shoot in. Current USPSA rules are here: https://uspsa.org/rules\nAs a safety precaution for all of our shooters\, registrants we are not familiar with will be contacted to verify they have appropriate familiarity with safety aspects of the match before being allowed to shoot in the match.\nMatch pre-payment is possible using the credit card payment option. It is SPS preference that shooters choose this option as it simplifies match-day administration. Credit card payment does not have to be made at time of registration but must be made by returning to your personal Practiscore match page and paying prior to match day.\nRefunds for cancellations will be given on your credit card account. Alternatively\, cancellations of paid registrations can be credited to a future SPS match pending availability of upcoming matches. Contact SPS if you need to cancel a paid registration. WE WILL WORK WITH YOU.\nMatch cost is 10$ for entry!

SUMMARY:DRRC Rimfire 2 Gun
DESCRIPTION:Welcome\nThis will be the Quarterly .22 Rim Fire Challenge 2 Gun Event.\nYou will need a Pistol and Rifle in .22 Caliber. Bring around 300 rounds.\nOn this event\, you will shoot both your Pistol and Rifle on each array. You will shoot this 5 times. We will throw out your slowest time. Your time will consist of the accumulation of your 4 fastest times for each array.\nThis event is a moving event. We try to make it a great entry into learning Practical Pistol and 3 Gun\nSafety is very important\, as you will change from Pistol to Rifle on the timer on a HOT firearm. Keeping your barrel pointed down range at all times.\nUnlike Practical Pistol\, we will only shoot steel. No Paper scoring.\nTarget are from 5" to 18x24" Distance from 10 yards\, to 50 yards. This is a thinking match as each stage has very specific instructions you must follow. Errors will cost you Time Points.\nThis is a lot of fun and will really help you prepare for Practical Pistol or Multi-gun matches.\nEnjoy\nPaul

SUMMARY:Dead Zero “Own The Night” Match November 14 2026
DESCRIPTION:3-gun (rifle/pistol/shotgun) match. NVG Division is allowed ZERO white/red light and must use IR or no light at all. White Light Division is allowed any lights they want. Rifle must shoot a rifle round\, and pistol must shoot a pistol round. Shotgun #6 shot or smaller lead only\, no steel shot. Everything else is allowed as long as it's safe.\n5 stages. Rifle out to 250 yds max (we may expand this - we'll do some testing first). One stage must be shot "Passive" with no additional light (IR or white) allowed. Moving targets. Great challenges and fun!\nI designed this as a 2-gun match (rifle/pistol) as that's where I want my own practice\, but any pistol steel can be shot with a shotgun (birdshot only). Paper pistol targets could be shot with slugs if you want (bring your own giant pasters if you bring slugs!). Any pistol targets can be shot with PCC. The only limitation is that pistol targets must be hit with pistol rounds (or shotgun)\, and rifle targets must be hit with rifle rounds. Bring the tools you want to use in the dark\, and get to work!\nWe'll be pushing the rifle targets out further (up from 150yds previously) to give us a little more challenge - we'll do some testing and see what our limits are. NVG Division must use IR light only\, but White Light Division can use as much light in any color they want. There will be one stage that must be shot 100% passive\, only using whatever little distracting ambient light is there.\nRegistration starts at 4:15pm Central Time and ends at 5:15pm. Pay $35 cash only onsite.

SUMMARY:Payson Long Gong Nov 15 2026
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Long Gong at the Tonto Rim Sports Club\nAll you need is a scoped .22LR rifle\, a bipod and separate rear bag. And 50 rounds of ammo.\nWe’ll supply three gong targets: 8"\, 6"\, and 4"\nYou shoot from the bench\, and the targets are 300 yards down range.\nThe object is to score as many points as possible with those 50 rounds. You get 1 point for each hit on the 8"\, 2 points for the 6"\, and 3 points for each hit on the 4" steel gong.\nSince this is a risk/reward competition\, you shoot for the 8" first\, and if you hit it\, you may move to the 6". Hit that\, and you can move on to the 4". A miss on the 6" or 4" means that you move back to the previous gong\, and must hit it before moving on. Each competitor shoots 5 10-round sets\, with the maximum possible score of 27 for each set (1+2+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3) and 135 total for the match.\nIt's a game so simple a child can play; so challenging even the best shooters will never perfect it\, and to top it all off\, it’s highly addictive!\nCome join us for a Long Gong match on the 3rd Sunday of each month\, at the Tonto Rim Sports Club’s Jim Jones Shooting Range.\nNon-members welcome. While competitive in spirit\, these matches are fun shoots and we are willing to help if you are interested in joining us!\nMatch fee is $5. Please sign up at Practiscore.com (search 'Matches' for 'Payson Long Gong') Squads consist of 3 competitors: shooter\, spotter\, scorekeeper.\nWe set up the targets at 7:00 with time to verify your sight settings\, and we shoot for score at 9:00 You will have one 2-minute sight-in time to verify your settings before your 1st round. This is done when it is your turn to shoot only.\nAny questions\, contact Match Director at 928-951-0248 or email steel_chickens_TRSC@yahoo.com
