DESCRIPTION:***SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT***\nIDPA HQ has banned the use of all variations of the SigSauer P320 at all IDPA-affiliated matches and events. Unless and until this ban is removed\, all variations of the SigSauer P320 will not be allowed to be used at Caliber IDPA matches.\nThis is Caliber IDPA's monthly match\, and will have five stages requiring a minimum of approximately 70 rounds to complete\, and one of the stages will be a low-light stage requiring the use of a handheld or weapon-mounted flashlight. All stages will have a Halloween theme. Match fee is $40\, and Safety Officers working the match shoot for free.\nIn-person registration at Caliber Gun Range will begin at 5:30PM on Saturday\, October 24th\, 2026\, with the mandatory Safety Briefing to start at 7:00PM. All Shooters MUST attend the Safety Briefing in order to shoot the match. Students will learn the terminology and range commands used in the sport of IDPA.\nThe following skills/techniques will be taught and then practiced under the supervision of experienced and currently certified IDPA Safety Officers:\nLoading and unloading the gun while on the line;\nDrawing from a holster and acquiring a target;\nProper clearing of the gun at the end of a course of fire;\nHolstering the gun; target transitions; engaging targets in tactical priority; slide-lock reloads; tactical reloads with retention;\nShooting on the move (forward\, backward\, laterally);\nShooting strong hand\, weak hand\, and freestyle;\nProper use of cover; muzzle control while competing; and scoring of targets.\nCertified IDPA Safety Officers teach the basics at the IDPA ranges. DESCRIPTION:This steel match will comprise nine stages\, with an estimated round count of 120.\nAs always\, bring plenty of .22LR ammo\, a 22lr rifle and pistol. Experienced and new shooters are all welcome.\nThere will be 6 strings of Rimfire Challenge\, 3 rifle only and 3 pistol only. Then 3 strings of two gun with rifle and pistol.\nMatch fee is $7 for AAFG members & Juniors\, $9 for non-members. Payment taken in cash at registration.\nArrival 9am. Registration opens at 9:20am.
