SUMMARY:The 2026 Del Norte Gun Club Black Rifle fundraiser match presented by BMC Tactical
DESCRIPTION:Del Norte Gun Club is proud to host the Black Rifle Charity Match on Saturday\, September 26 in support of the Second Amendment and the organizations working to protect it here in New Mexico.\nThis match raises funds for the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) and the New Mexico Firearms Industry Association (NMFIA). Last year\, thanks to the support of our shooters\, volunteers\, and sponsors\, we raised nearly $20\,000 to help those organizations continue their work.\nThe last legislative session saw one of the strongest pushes against the Second Amendment in recent years\, and we expect those efforts to continue. The Black Rifle Charity Match is one way our shooting community can come together to support the organizations that represent us at the Roundhouse and advocate for firearm owners across New Mexico.\nThe Black Rifle Charity Match is a rifle only action shooting competition featuring targets from 1 to approximately 300 yards. Stages include a mix of steel\, cardboard\, frangible\, static\, and moving targets with a variety of shooting positions and props.\nCompetitors should bring:\nA semi-automatic rifle (AR\, AK\, M1A\, FAL\, or similar)\nA rifle sling\nPlenty of magazines\nAt least 300 rounds of ammunition (final round count will be posted once stage designs are complete)\nBMC Tactical returns as the Title Sponsor\, with additional sponsors continuing to join the event. Prizes will be awarded by random draw\, raffles will be held throughout the event\, and trophies will be presented to the top finishers in each division.\nWhether you compete\, volunteer\, sponsor a stage\, or donate a prize\, every contribution helps support the organizations defending our rights here in New Mexico.\nRules and additional match information:\nhttps://tinyurl.com/ybd88t32\nVolunteers Needed\nThe Black Rifle Charity Match is entirely volunteer supported\, and additional help is needed this year.\nThe main match will be held on Saturday\, September 26. The staff match is scheduled for Friday\, September 25\, with stage setup taking place on Thursday\, September 24.\nThis year\, we will have dedicated Range Officers assigned to each stage to improve consistency and keep the match running safely and efficiently. Because of that\, we need more volunteers than in previous years.\nVolunteers shoot the match at no cost.\nCurrent volunteer needs include:\nRange Officers – Experience running a timer\, tablet\, and safely managing a squad.\nStage Setup – Help building stages prior to the match.\nAnyone interested in volunteering for setup or serving as an RO can contact Drew Solomon at drew.solomon@gmail.com. A volunteer registration link will be provided separately.\nThere will be 4 divisions: (see rules link for division descriptions)\nTactical Timmy: no more than 30 rounds in magazines\, plate carrier must be worn throughout match (minimum weight\, 10 lbs)\, all magazines and reloads must come from carrier (unless stage description states otherwise)\, Flash hiders/silencers only. No muzzle brakes or compensators (unless silencer is attached)\, no optic restrictions\, no supporting devices allowed.\nLimited: One unmagnified optic. No more than 30 rounds in magazines\, no supporting devices\nScope: Limited to one magnified optic or red dot+magnifier combo. No drum magazines\, No supporting devices\nOpen: No restrictions\nBraced pistols are allowed. PCC's are also allowed but there will not be a PCC division - Just select the division you'd fit into. Shooting a PCC at this match will be a disadvantage since we are planning on shooting out to ~300 yards and hits will be harder to call\, however you may switch to a rifle for whichever stages you'd like.\nNo steel core ammo will be allowed (ex. Green tip M855)\nRegistration will be open until 9/23. Refunds for the match will be given UP TO THIS DATE (MINUS FEES)\ncheck out @delnorte3gun on Instagram to see pictures and videos from previous matches\n Any other question? SUMMARY:King of 2 Miles Global Finals
DESCRIPTION:The King of 2 Miles (Ko2M) is the premier extreme long-range (ELR) rifle competition\, designed to push shooters\, equipment\, and ballistic science to their absolute limits. Bringing together many of the most skilled marksmen in the world\, Ko2M is widely regarded as the pinnacle test of precision shooting out to two miles.\n Held in a high-desert environment to maximize visibility and minimize atmospheric density\, the match challenges competitors to engage steel targets at distances extending from approximately 2000 to 3\,520 yards (2 miles). At these ranges\, even minor variations in wind\, temperature\, or density altitude can result in misses measured in dozens of feet\, making environmental reading as critical as marksmanship.\n Rifles up to 50 pounds and 50 BMG are allowed however suppressed rifles may weigh up to 55 pounds. Calibers under 338 are not permitted and calibers over .512 require special approval.\nThe competition unfolds over three days:\n -Qualification Rounds: Shooters engage progressively increasing distances\, starting around 2000 yards and extending outward with a hit to move progression. Each member of the 2-man team shoots their preliminary round on different days. Performance here determines who advances to the finals.\n -Finals: The top competitors from each qualification day move on to the second stage\, with targets ranging from about 3000 yards out to two miles. Targets are 5 shots each and are shot with hit to move progression.\n Victory at Ko2M represents the highest achievement in extreme long-range shooting—a demonstration of mastery of environmental effects\, equipment and fundamental shooting skills at distances once thought impractical.\n Two companion matches precede Ko2M at the NRA Whittington Center and due to their limited capacity\, preference in registration will be given to Ko2M shooters. King’s Cup on the 22nd with follow standard Light Gun rules:\nhttps://practiscore.com/king-s-cup/register\nKing’s Gambit on the 23rd will follow standard Heavy Gun rules:\nhttps://practiscore.com/king-s-gambit/register\nComplete rules can be found here:\nhttps://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/1j77pbbuz45fglonuj58b/ELR-Foundation-Rules-2026.pdf?rlkey=6p6johnh86dmw2fbzgnbzyomm&dl=0\n Junior shooters (age 12 to 17) shoot for free. Contact us for a free registration link. Parents may act as spotters for their kids without giving up their ability to spot for their regular teammate.

SUMMARY:First Responder Steel Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our First Responder Steel Challenge Match\, a special event honoring those that serve and protect! A Steel Challenge Match is a type of action shooting competition where participants use handguns or rifles to engage a series of steel targets arranged in specific stage layouts. The sport is designed to test speed\, accuracy\, and consistency.\nFormat: Each match consists of several standardized stages\, each with 5 steel targets (four primary plates and one "stop plate"). The stop plate ends the timer for each run. You can see/download diagrams of our match stages by clicking on "Stages" button below.\nScoring: Competitors shoot each stage multiple times (called "strings")\, and their fastest times are recorded. The lowest total time across all stages determines the winner.\nDivisions: Matches include different equipment divisions (such as rimfire pistol\, centerfire pistol\, rimfire rifle\, and pistol-caliber carbine)\, so shooters of all ages and skill levels can compete fairly. Most duty pistols fall into the "Production" or "Carry Optic" division and are very popular in Steel Challenge.\nAppeal: Unlike other shooting sports\, Steel Challenge uses fixed target setups\, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced competitors. The immediate feedback of hitting steel targets (with an audible “ping”) adds excitement and makes the sport spectator-friendly.\nIn short\, a Steel Challenge Match is a fast-paced\, family-friendly shooting competition focused on speed and precision against steel targets.\nWhether you are a competitive shooter or new to the sport\, this is a great opportunity to test your speed and accuracy while supporting youth shooting sports in our community. SUMMARY:AZ PCC Championship 2026 Presented by JP Enterprises
DESCRIPTION:The 10th annual AZ Pistol Caliber Carbine Championship will be hosted by RioMultigun during the last weekend of September.\nThis year you can look forward to the same successful format as in previous years\, with stages that test your PCC skills to the max. There will be 8 challenging run-n-gun PCC-only stages\, with targets ranging from 1 yard to over 100 yards. Ammo count is expected to be around 350 rounds.\nIf you have squadding preferences\, please email Steph PRIOR to registration opening on Monday\, March 16th at 8am so she can make sure you get squadded with your family and friends.\nFollowing competitor feedback\, this year we will be offering the option to shoot the match over two half-days (Saturday & Sunday) instead of having to complete the whole match in one day\, which some of you tell us can be hard going. There will also be limited slots available for competitors wanting to shoot with staff on Friday. Please indicate which squadding options are acceptable to you on the registration form below - we will adjust the squadding schedule to accommodate everyone's preferences as best we can before the withdrawal deadline.\nIf you are interested in helping staff the match\, please fill out the staff interest form at https://forms.gle/8dNq1KuzY2y6ixHZ9\nPrize bags will be distributed by random draw as each squad cycles through the demo stage. Additional door prizes will be given away on Sunday during the awards ceremony (non-staff competitors only\, must be present to win).

SUMMARY:The Dark is Afraid of Chuck Norris - Del Norte Gun Club 9-25-26
DESCRIPTION:Del Norte Gun Club is excited to introduce “The Dark is Afraid of Chuck Norris\,” a brand-new night match being added to the Black Rifle Charity Match weekend. The match will be Friday September 25th.\nThis rifle-only night match was created to provide another opportunity for our shooting community to come together in support of the Second Amendment and the organizations working to protect it here in New Mexico. Proceeds from the match benefiting the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) and the New Mexico Firearms Industry Association (NMFIA).\nLast year\, the Black Rifle Charity Match raised nearly $20\,000 to support the fight for our Second Amendment rights in New Mexico. Following a legislative session that saw significant efforts to restrict those rights\, and with the expectation that those efforts will continue\, we felt it was important to expand the Black Rifle Charity Match weekend and provide another opportunity for the shooting community to get involved.\nThis inaugural night match will consist of four rifle-only stages\, adapted from the main Black Rifle Charity Match with modifications designed specifically for low-light and NVG conditions.\nDue to the nature of this event\, competitors must have safely completed several action shooting matches prior to participating. Shooters may be asked to provide additional information regarding their match experience before registration is approved. Because of significant interest and the limited number of available slots\, competitor selection for this inaugural event will be conducted by lottery.\nSchedule\nAll competitors should plan to be ready by 7:00 PM.\nWe will conduct a brief safety meeting followed by stage walkthroughs while there is still enough light to see. Once it gets dark enough\, the match will begin.\nPlease arrive with your magazines loaded\, but keep all firearms unloaded and bagged until instructed to “Make Ready.” Also make sure your lasers (IR and visible) are in the off position.\nEquipment\nCompetitors should bring:\nA rifle\nAt least 150 rounds of rifle ammunition\nA headlamp or handheld light for resetting targets\nA rifle sling (may be required; final requirements will be announced prior to the match)\nDivisions\nNODS\nNight vision only\nActive or passive aiming permitted\nNo additional equipment restrictions\nWhite Light Optics\nWeapon-mounted white light required\nOptics permitted\nNo additional equipment restrictions\nScoring and Rules\nScoring will be Time Plus\, using the same scoring system as our Black Rifle and 3-Gun matches:\nTwo hits anywhere\, or\nOne Alpha hit to neutralize\nOther than divisions\, this match will use the same ruleset as our Black Rifle matches:\nLink\nMatch Flow\nBecause we will be operating on a limited timeline\, efficient match flow will be critical. Competitors are expected to reset targets between shooters unless they are the next shooter on deck.\nPlease arrive prepared\, with magazines loaded and equipment organized\, to help keep the match running smoothly.\nWhether you compete\, volunteer\, sponsor a stage\, or donate a prize\, every contribution helps support the organizations defending our rights here in New Mexico.\nInterested in sponsoring the match or donating to the prize table? We’d be happy to hear from you.
