SUMMARY:Pocatello Shotgun Run and Gun
DESCRIPTION:Multigun style run and gun SHOTGUN ONLY match woohoo! Finally a place where shotgunners can unite in a game of who can load it fastest! Courses of fire will include a lot of steel\, flying clays\, and some slug targets. Sorry given I only have two bays this match is truly shotgun only (no PCCs/Pistols/Rimfire/etc.).\nThis event will take place in Gulleyville (the old western town at the range) with an 8:30am sign in followed by a safety briefing and shooting by 9:00am. I'm planning on 4 stages but where we only have Gulleyville we will need to re-configure the two bays after everyone completes the first two stages (this won't take long\, I have the stages designed in such a way it should be quick to do and the stages still different enough to be worth it). This will most likely result in larger squads so be ready to jeer on your buddies while you wait!\nI'm figuring a box of shells per stage so plan on bringing at least 100 birdshot (#6 birdshot or smaller\, no steel shot) and 5 slugs + slugs for spinner bonus. If you plan on missing a lot like I do you may want to bring some extras! There will of course be a slug spinner bonus at 70ish yards so plan on however many slugs you need for that if you plan to take it on! Don't sweat it if you can't carry that many shells on you\, I will try and have it setup in such a way that we can stage a box of shells on the course of fire.\n$10 entry fee for the event and $5 guest fee applies for non-members of the range.\nContact Josh Dalton at j.dalton203@gmail.com if you need additional information or have questions.

SUMMARY:2026-09-19 1Gun (EDS) at Phoenix Rod and Gun Club
DESCRIPTION:There will be 6'ish mini-stages\, each built around everyday defensive scenarios (EDS) with lower round counts. These stages might involve situations like a carjacking attempt by multiple attackers (i.e. 4-5) or a home-invasion scenario with several intruders (i.e. 6-8). Every stage is intentionally short\, close-range\, and very fast—designed to reflect the kinds of threats a person could realistically face.\nWhile no stage can truly replicate real life\, the goal is to make them feel far more “real-world”. These stages focus on practical\, defensive decision-making under stress.\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for Advanced classification or above.\n1Gun is designed to combine the well liked aspects from the different shooting sports\, with dynamic stages and simpler rules. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.\n$22 with a $9 discount for verified PRGC members.
