If you would like to see the official NRL22 stages for this month’s match\, visit https://nrl22.org/downloads/\nNew shooters are welcome and encouraged to attend. The goal of the NRL22 is to make Precision Rifle shooting more available to every community. 22LR is the only rimfire caliber allowed to compete in NRL22 so bring what you have and try out a match or come out and see how you’d like to setup your rifle for future matches. Have you ever wanted to get into long range rifle shooting or learn how to accurately engage targets at longer distances? NRL22 is a great opportunity to learn what tools and knowledge it takes to do exactly that. All the skills you use in a NRL22 match can be carried over to centerfire rifles and help you confidently jump into those longer distances.\nNRL22 is designed to be fun and rewarding for youth shooters\, new shooters\, and also challenging enough for seasoned precision rifle shooters. NRL22 monthly matches consist of 5 stages that are typically shot from distances ranging between 25-100 yards. There is a good mix between prone stages\, barricade stages\, and positional stages. Steel targets from 1/4” to 6”. Shooting sequence and scoring will be established by the Match Director and will be clearly explained prior to each match during the shooters meeting and by the Range Officer prior to the start of each stage (match books may be distributed at check-in to explain each stage). Match scores will be retained by the Match Director and posted on Practiscore and DR&PC Facebook page.\nThere are 8 divisions.\n1. Open\n2. Base (MSRP of rifle + MSRP of scope = $1650 or less)\n3. This is an outlaw style precision rifle match to challenge skills and fundamentals in hunting scenarios or PRS/NRL type matches. Shooters will be challenged with positional\, barricade\, and prone/modified prone shots. This is a points match with a timed tiebreaker stage. Round counts will be both limited and unlimited. This match is limited to .22 Long Rifle\, Long\, or Short only; no magnum or 17HMR calibers. .22 caliber air rifles are allowed in their own division provided they do not push projectiles with more energy on target than a .22lr (this is to protect the steel). Youth under 18 years old on match day shoot free with a paying adult. We try to incorporate choices of positions available to the shooter to accommodate physical restriction (example being prone off the ground or modified prone off a bench\, pick one). This is a beginner friendly match! Target sizes are generous\, stages are designed around challenging different skills. We want you to hit targets\, have fun and come back.\nBonus: 50 Yard Benchrest competition before the match. To kick off the match\, during the zeroing time we will have a 50yd benchrest competition on official USBR targets consisting of (3) confirmation/zero check targets and (25) shots for score. Everyone entering the PRS match will receive one target for signing up. Additional targets available for $5 each\, also available for walk on shooters just wanting to participate in benchrest. Trophy to the top Benchrest shooter. This will go from 0800-0830. May be shot from a bench or prone\, no gun or gear restrictions. All rimfire including .17hmr\, and .22 Magnum and air rifles allowed for benchrest.\nStages: This will consist of 6-8 stages involving positional\, prone and shooting off a barricade. Stages will range from 25-200yds.\nAmmo: This match is 75-85 rounds for a perfect course of fire. It is recommended to bring 100 rounds for misses\, malfunctions and zeroing if needed. Shooters should have magazine solutions to fire up to (8-12) rounds per stage.\nGear: Stages are designed to be shot with a single bag or bipod and rear bag. Tripods are not required for shooting but are allowed\, a tripod will be available for use if needed. shooting bag is recommended but not required\, bags will be available to use if needed.\nDivisions: This match will be broken down into divisions:\n	Open Division: Follows NRL22 ruleset for Open Division\n	Factory Division: Follows NRL22 Ruleset for Factory Division\n	Youth Division: This is for shooters under 18 years of age on the day of the match. Youth shooters must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while on the range and must be present on each stage to help the Range Officer (RO) with safety and conduct of each stage. The parent/guardian is responsible for the conduct and safety of the youth shooter and the firearm while on the range. This is to encourage youth into precision rifle competitions in a safe environment. Youth shoot $free with a paying adult into the PRS match.\n	Air Rifle Division: Any air rifle\, no restrictions except energy on target to protect the steel. It needs to shoot about the same as a .22lr (around 40gr projectile at 1070fps avg)\nCost:\nMatch fee is $20. Registration and squading will be open before the match. Zeroing line and Benchrest competition open at 8:00am. Safety Brief and match walk through at 8:45am. Match starts at 9:00 am. All firing will be complete by 4:00pm.\nRange Info:\nThe range is a cold range\, chamber flags are required.\nIf it’s your first time at Sanctum 1791\, you must fill out and sign a waiver. This will take 5-10minutes to complete and must be done before firing so plan ahead.\nThe zeroing line will be available at 8:00am after registration with 50yd paper targets. SUMMARY:ASC Outlaw Steel - 9-26-26
DESCRIPTION:ASC Outlaw Steel\nLocation:\n7749 Rueff Rd\nWaterman\, Illinois 60556\nFacebook Page: ASC Action Shooting Facebook\n***Effective immediately: due to safety concerns surrounding the Sig P320\, Outlaw Steel is banning the firearm platform from all outlaw steel events. This decision wasn't arrived at lightly\, but in the interest of safety of our members and guests\, we've had to make this decision. This will be reevaluated at a later date\, once the issue has been rectified by Sig Sauer. Please note\, if you show up with a P320\, you will not be allowed to shoot the gun*****\nWhat is Outlaw Steel?\nThis sport is very similar to Steel Challenge. If you're starting with a rimfire/PCC rifle\, or rimfire pistol\, you will start at low ready. For centerfire pistols\, you're start loaded and holstered with your hands in the surrender position. At the beep\, you'll engage 5 steel targets in any order\, with one steel target painted a different color indicating it's the stop plate\, meaning the plate you shoot last after shooting the other 4. You'll repeat this a total of 5 times with your worst time thrown out and the other four used to calculate your stage time.\nPlease note: calibers allowed are as follows: 22 long rifle\, 9mm\, .40 S&W\, 45 ACP\, 38 special. No bottleneck pistol cartridges\, magnum pistol cartridges\, or bottleneck rifle cartridges allowed.\nThis is one of the best ways to get into action shooting\, as well as getting younger shooters started in action shooting.\nAll skill levels are welcome\, and we always welcome new shooters!\nThis year will be a bit different from last year in that we're setting up the stages the day of the match. With 60+ shooters\, this will literally take 10 minutes at most once all of the steel and equipment is dropped off.\nIf you see that the squads are full\, please continue to register. We'll make room for you.\nSetup starts at 08:00 am. If you can meet at the connex boxes to help load steel and equipment onto the trailer\, that will make things run much smoother. Please note that you must help with setup\, otherwise you will not be allowed to shoot the match. The sooner we are done with setup\, the sooner we can get check in done\, safety brief finished and begin shooting at 9am sharp. SUMMARY:ASC Outlaw Steel - 9-26-26 New
DESCRIPTION:ASC Outlaw Steel\nLocation:\n7749 Rueff Rd\nWaterman\, Illinois 60556\nFacebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/ascshootingsports\nWhat is Outlaw Steel?\nThis sport is very similar to Steel Challenge. With 60+ shooters\, this will literally take 20 minutes at most once all of the steel and equipment is dropped off.\nIf you see that the squads are full\, please continue to register. SUMMARY:PNTC 2026 September 27 American Defender - Defensive Pistol Match
DESCRIPTION:Doors open for check-in at 8 am. Safety brief starts at 9 am.\nWelcome to the evolution of the defensive handgun match. American Defender takes the defensive elements of IDPA and injects them with the high-octane speed and target density of USPSA. This isn’t just about standing behind a barricade – it’s about explosive movement\, aggressive target transitions\, and maintaining critical accuracy under the stress. Utilizing a wide array of steel\, paper\, and moving targets\, this match offers something to challenge every level of shooter.\nFeaturing 5 stages of continuous action in a target rich environment here's what to expect:\n•	Dynamic Scenarios: Move through diverse stages featuring cover\, and multiple target arrays.\n•	Stages are timed and scored using a simple Time-plus format.\n•	Tactical Problem Solving: You’ll face "shoot/no-shoot" decisions\, shooting from cover and shoot on the move style engagements.\n•	Shoot what you carry without concealment restrictions. Use of an open-carry or out-of-waistband is required.\n•	No power factor\, or concealment garments required.\nThe simplified rules and straight-forward divisions make this a good match for those new to competition or those who simply want to add a new level to their training. Shooting under a timer brings new challenges\, and forces you work "under pressure". Formerly know at the Kahr Arms Defensive Pistol Match - numerous law enforcement officers - from Fairfax\, Frederick\, as well as here in West Virginia have routinely participated in these matches.\nCombining 12 years of experience designing competitive shooting matches with a professional background as a firearms instructor for DOS's diplomatic security personnel\, David Doughty's mission is to deliver a top tier competition at a club level price\, so shooters of all levels can continue to sharpen their skills. American Defender and 2 Gun are the two matches at Peacemaker specifically designed to add real-world value in a fun competitive shooting format.
