SUMMARY:Port Townsend Falling Plates Oct 31 2026
DESCRIPTION:This is a fast paced head-to-head competition of two shooters engaging sets of falling plates with the winner being the first to shoot down the overlapping popper plate.\nEach competitor goes to the line with two magazines for each pairing loaded with six rounds in each mag; this is to keep it fair for revolver shooters. Expect to shoot 200-250 rounds. The entry fee is $5 per gun\, you may enter up to two guns. Set-up and sign-up starts at 9am and shooting starts at 10am.\nThis match is for most centerfire and .22 LR pistols. If your pistol has optics or it's a race gun go ahead and bring it. Many shooters will show up with multiple guns so a good matchup always happens. Rimfire is now allowed as we have purchased a new rimfire competition plate rack. Full power magnums are not allowed as they destroy the plates. Rifle rounds are not allowed for the same reason.\nFun is paramount in this match! Sportsmanship and handicapping yourself if you have an advantage is always encouraged. This simply means that your status as a new or inexperienced shooter or firearms with optics or race guns will be taken into consideration for each matchup. The regular competitors are inventive and can create numerous matchups variations.\nYou will have fun!\nPay at the match.\nPrice:\n$5.00

SUMMARY:Flagstaff Action Shooters Outlaw Multi-Gun Halloween 2026
DESCRIPTION:This will be a mostly Two Gun rifle/pistol match\, and will start with a mandatory safety briefing around 10 am. It will definitely have a Halloween theme\, and may involve smashing pumpkins. $40 per shooter\, or $20 per shooter in costume.\nA couple of important points:\n1. This is NOT a good match for a brand new shooter. Experience with competitive shooting or attendance to our Introduction to Competitive Shooting is mandatory.\n2. In order for us to hold this match\, we need people to step up to help with it. There is a list of options below for you to choose how you would like to help.\n3. If you have any questions about the match\, please email us.\n4. The "outlaw" part means that we will be relaxing some of the stage design requirements.\nArrive early to assist with setup\, and definitely early enough to sign the waiver\, pay the match fee\, and get your gear ready. You may not shoot if you are not at the safety briefing.\nWe operate on cold range rules... all firearms are to be unloaded when you enter the range and not loaded until directed by a safety officer.\nSERPA style holsters are not permitted on this range\, unless the trigger finger release has been permanently disabled.

SUMMARY:TPS HALLOWEEN Night Steel - October 2026
DESCRIPTION:HALLOWEEN Night Steel\, October 31st\, 2026\nFive Stages only (125 rounds) but bring extra rounds.\nCompetitors are encouraged to dress up for the match!\nRegistration Begins: 6:00pm-6:45pm\nSafety Briefing: 6:45pm-7pm\nStart of Match: 7pm\nEnd of Match: Approx. 10pm\nThis will be an outlaw match only. Scores will not count toward your SCSA classification. This is just for fun.\nAll SCSA Steel Challenge rules still apply with the following additional rules:\nAll competitors will be required to have an approved primary flashlight. Secondary flashlights are allowed for general illumination (walking\, reloading or other administrative purposes).\nApproved primary flashlights:\n1.	Must be capable of atleast 60 lumens but no more than 1000 lumens.\n2.	Must be securely attached to the firearm\, worn on the competitor (e.g. headlamp)\, or held in the weak/support hand (e.g. Chapman\, Harries or FBI technique) during the course of fire. Weapon lights attached to a firearm must remain attached to the firearm unless the firearm or light needs to be serviced at a designated Safe Area. Competitors will not be allowed to shoot with improperly secured devices.\nA) “Securely attached” is defined in this section as being fastened by screws\, rings\, M-Lok\, picatinny or 1913 rail systems. The flashlight can not be attached with duct tape\, scotch tape\, or any other kind of tape or glue. The Match Director will make the final decision on any questionably attached lights.\n3.	Competitors will turn ON their primary flashlight at the “Make Ready” command.\n4.	Competitors will turn OFF their primary flashlight AFTER the “If clear\, hammer down\, holster” command and just before holstering or bagging of the firearm.\n5.	Flashlights cannot be placed on the ground\, propped up or held by anyone else during the course of fire and must remain under the direct control of the competitor.\nLaser devices are allowed but must be used in conjunction with a flashlight (the laser is useless if you can’t see the target). Night vision devices are not allowed (because the RO needs to see the targets too).\nIf a primary flashlight fails or detaches during a course of fire\, the RO will immediately stop the current string and record the time and any misses. The shooter will have up to two minutes to attempt to reattach the light. If the shooter is unable to reattach the light after two minutes\, the RO will end the stage on that string and direct the shooter to a Safe Area to make further repairs. That shooter will be allowed to complete any un-shot strings should he be able to reattach the light.\nAfter a course of fire is completed\, any light that is NOT ATTACHED to a firearm can be activated to assist in resetting targets\, reloading or other administrative purposes.\nDuring the course of fire\, only the competitor should have an activated flashlight pointed at the targets. However\, any Range Safety Office can activate his/her light at any time if they observe any safety violations and stop the competitor.\nSpectators and competitors that are not shooting should not have an activated flashlight pointed toward the targets while a course of fire is active. Competitors that are reloading or at a Safe Area should make every effort to not shine any lights towards the targets or the current shooter. All lights should be at a low power setting when not in use during a course of fire. Spectators and competitors that are not shooting should make every effort to not disturb the current shooter with excess light.\n*** IMPORTANT *** You must have these two waivers on file before you can shoot this event.\n1. Talon Range Waiver - https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/6217f5d300c84/web/\n2. TPS Waiver - https://form.jotform.com/261127149987064

SUMMARY:SSS USPSA November 2026
DESCRIPTION:*** ADDITIONAL DIVISIONS FOR SAME SHOOTER ARE FULL PRICE ***\nMonthly USPSA pistol match. 5 Stages (including 1 classifier)\n*If you can help set up the Saturday afternoon/evening before the match\, contact the range and we'll get you in touch with the match director.\nSquads are expected to help break down the last stage they shoot and police brass on all stages they shoot prior to leaving the stage.\nSquad members are expected to share RO & scorekeeper duties under the guidance of the more experienced squad members. At a minimum\, assist with scorekeeping. If you don't know how to run the tablet\, ask and learn. EVERYONE RESETS. If you aren't shooting\, running the timer\, running the tablet\, or next shooter\, YOU RESET/PASTE TARGETS.\n* Staff may need to shuffle the squads to make them even\, so if you MUST be squadded with a particular shooter (sharing equipment\, etc.) REGISTER AS A GROUP\, THEN SQUAD YOURSELF IMMEDIATELY. One person creates the group then gives the group code to the others in their group\, which is entered in the appropriate box during their registration. Registering as a group does NOT automatically squad people with the same group number and does not create additional spaces on squads that are full...you have to squad yourselves as space is available. Group registration lets us know you need to stay together if we have to move people around.\nFor more information\, please visit our web page. http://sandhillshootingsports.com/shooting-groups-leagues/pistol-competitions/\nOnline registration closes at 7:00 AM the day of the match. Walk-in registration will be the morning of the event on a space-available basis only.\nCheck-in at 8:00 AM. Shooter briefing at 8:45 AM. 1st shots downrange at 9 AM.\n*** YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT THE SHOOTER BRIEFING TO SHOOT ***\n* If you have not chosen a squad by 7 AM the day of the match staff will assign you to a squad.\nIt's suggested to bring 150-200 rounds.\n*** HAVE PHOTO ID WHEN YOU CHECK-IN ***\n*** SIGN YOUR WAIVERS ONLINE AT THIS LINK *** \nWaivers \n\n************************************************************************************************************************************************\nJUST BECAUSE THERE ARE EMPTY SPOTS ON SQUADS DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN THE MATCH IS NOT FULL. Not all shooters pick a squad when they register. Some are perfectly happy with letting the match staff put them in a squad the morning of the event. If the match shows zero spots remaining\, then it's full. If you register after the match is full then you will be put on the waitlist. We approve shooters from the waitlist in the order they registered after other shooters withdraw from the match.
