DESCRIPTION:This match will include six stages consisting of 26-32 targets per stage. All targets are reactionary steel that must be knocked down to complete the scenario.\nSA- Stock Auto- Iron Sights\, no compensators. 10 round limit per magazine. 10 rounds in the gun to start.\nOA- Open Auto- Any optic\, any sights\, compensators allowed. 10 round limit per magazine. 10 rounds in the gun to start.\nOU- Open Unlimited- Any optic\, any sights\, compensators allowed. No limit on mag capacity.\nPCC- Pistol Caliber Carbine- Any upgrade\, no mag limit.\nOR- Open Revolver- Any sight\, any optic\, any capacity.\nSR- Stock Revolver- Iron sights\, no capacity limits.\nPCC's are limited to 9mm\, 40 or 45 caliber.\nNo 10mm or Magnum handgun loads. Straight wall cartridges only.\nThis is a centerfire match. No rimfire firearms are permitted.\nEye and ear protection is MANDATORY for all participants and spectators.\nHandguns must remain in holsters or gun bags/boxes until on the shooting line. PCC's MUST BE BAGGED until at the shooting line. All shooters will start from the low ready position (gun touching table\, safety on if applicable). No drawing from holsters. Reloads can be made off the table or from a belt\, shooters preference. We will not be requiring chamber flags. After the shooter has completed the stage\, they will show the RO the gun is cleared\, then bolt/slide forward\, hammer down and bag/holster the gun.\nWe will not be running a PAR time in these matches. The time will be end on the last shot fired.  Any plate left standing after the last shot fired will result in a 10 second per plate penalty.\nPrice of registration is as follows:\nFirst gun: $25.00\nEach subsequent gun: $15.00\nJuniors 18 and under: $10 per gun.\nFees are collected at the time of registration.\nWe will be limiting shooters to a maximum of two guns per time slot. Registration will take place in front of Pit 1 of the action handgun pits. Registration for the morning relay will begin at 8:00AM followed by a mandatory shooter's meeting at 8:45AM. DESCRIPTION:Our mission is to provide a venue for Steel Challenge (SCSA) shooting and matches and to promote safe\, fair and fun participation in Steel Shooting competition. Pioneer’s outdoor shooting bays are well suited for steel challenge stages and we have first-class equipment that allow us to offer up to eight standard Steel Challenge stages at every match. We’re known for our capable\, experienced and friendly staff.\nSteel challenge is a unique shooting discipline in many ways. The simple and consistent layout combined with a mostly stationary shooter and multiple strings is well suited to shooters of all ages and levels. In addition\, the many divisions offered means that virtually any style gun may be used for competition as long as they are rim fire or pistol caliber. Each division is scored separately so shooters can directly compare themselves with their peers. Although the stages are rather simple\, the goal is to shoot each stage as quickly as possible and even the quickest and most experienced shooters continue to strive to overcome their limitations and improve their performance.\nMatches are typically held the first Saturday of every month April through November.\nNote: Match and Range specific rule (violation subject to match DQ):\n- Cold range; empty magazine well and no rounds in chamber.\n- Please observe PSI range rule of muzzle direction kept below top of berms\, even when reloading.\n- Match policies and procedures:\nPre-registration and early registration only.\nPre-registration and scores at Practiscore.com\nAssigned squads\n- Only one gun/run allowed on match day;  those helping with set-up can shoot a second gun then. (Membership not required to shoot!)\n• Targets will be steel only\, each stage will have required shooting positions (i.e 2 shots at target A then B from the first rung of a ladder\, repeat for rungs 2 and 3). Speed and accuracy are both important in this competition.\n• What is needed to compete?\n• A .22lr rifle with a detachable magazine\n• A scope that will permit you to engage targets at various distances (My preference is a scope with MIL/MOA hashmarks\, but any scope that gives you the ability to shoot various distances will work)\n• Bipod\n• Other equipment that would be nice would be a shooting bag like a gamechanger\, DOPE card\, binos\, Spotting scope\, ballistic calculator app\, etc. There is NO NEED to go buy a bunch of gear before your first match\, plenty of people will be there to lend out gear.\nThis is a COLD range- There will be zero tolerance for any muzzle flagging at this match. We will have rifle staging areas available to keep rifles in between stages. Chamber flags are required\nPricing- We will shoot the 5 monthly NRL22 stages\, and a bonus stage.
