Long guns must have an EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR (Chamber Flag) IN PLACE at all times starting from the moment the rifle is uncased for placement in a gun cart or brought to the shooting position.\nPistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated Safety Areas or unbagged under the direction of a RO/SO at the shooting position.\nSafety Areas are clearly marked with signs.  If the table doesn't have a sign marked "Safety Area" then it isn't one and Gun Handling is not allowed there but ammunition handling is.\nNO AMMUNITION HANDLING in safety areas. Use of suppressors is not prohibited but the match director can not assure accurate times.\nAll pistol calibers permitted. As per SCSA rules the maximum velocity for any Handgun or Pistol Caliber Carbine shooting steel is 1600fps. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 90lbs.\nFemale Legendary: The weight for the plate carrier will be no less than 10lbs empty. This division is meant for “females only” to test their abilities in their own division\, it will be physically demanded yet doable. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 70lbs. \nRecruit: There is no plate carrier required for this division. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 50lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 50lb.\n Firearms: \nAll divisions are open (Rifle and Pistol may run any optic or multiple optics and any sort of set up). All rifles must have a sling. Pistols may have a red dot and must have a holster than can retain the pistol while negotiating obstacles. Yes! You can run a surpressor! \nRifle: .223 and above. No green tip\, tracer\, armor piercing or M855A1 allowed\, this could result in a match DQ if caught using these. \nPistol: 9mm or larger. \nPlate Carriers: The weight for all the plate carriers mentioned above will be weighed empty. Empty meaning that the shooter will not have any magazines\, ammunition\, radios\, water or other gear to “make weight”. The weight will consist of the plate carrier\, pouches and either ballistic or exercise plates. \nSupporting devices (i.e.\, Support Bags\, Tripods\, Bipods etc..) may be used from stage to stage but must be fixed to the firearm for the entire course of fire. DESCRIPTION:Our club offers modified Cowboy Action Shooting® matches. Currently we have multiple categories with a few added in such as Working Cowboy/Cowgirl which is pistol and a rifle. Our goal is to get you out here shooting and having fun. If you don't have all of the gear that you "think" you need\, stop by and chat with us and we will get you started.\nWe dress in pre–1900 clothing and shoot real bullets from original or replicas of the kind of guns used by cowboys in the late 1800's. The shooting is timed and scores are recorded to determine winners. But as much as the competition\, we enjoy the friendships and just the fun of shooting. It is well organized\, safe\, family oriented and is a good place to meet some really nice folks!\nDon't be alarmed by the costuming\, there are "open" classes that are much less restrictive.

DESCRIPTION:WE SHOOT AT SUNDOWN!\nATTENDING THE EVENT\nEveryone must sign the Origin Shooting waiver & agrees to be bound by these rules\nEveryone will attend the Safety Briefing & New Shooters will identify themselves\nEye and Ear protection will be worn at all times by everyone on the range\nDO NOT bring a loaded gun to the Safety Briefing. Empty gun means empty chamber\, empty mag well\, pistols remain holstered\, PCC’s remain bagged or flagged\nThe Admin bay will remain permanently lit with working tables & chairs\nGUNS\, GEAR\, & EQUIPMENT\nFirearms must be safe and serviceable to use in this event\nHolsters must be worn on the belt. No inside the waistband\, Crossdraw\, Chest\, Ankle\, small of the back (6 o'clock)\, or Shoulder holsters\nNormal calibers are allowed (9mm\, 40sw\, 45acp\, etc) Unusual calibers are not allowed (.22LR\, 5.7x28mm\, .50AE)\nNight Vision division registration will be at the discretion of the Match Director.\nShooters are required to bring & wear reflective safety belts at all times\nShooters are required to bring flashlights or headlamps for target reset\nDIVISIONS\nPistol WML - Any pistol with a weapon mounted light\, OWB holster\, and 23rd magazines\nPCC - Any PCC with a weapon mounted light\, PCC bag\, no magazine capacity limit\nNVG/NODs Pistol - Night Vision Equipment\, Pistol\, and 23rd magazines\nNVG/NODs PCC -  Night Vision Equipment and PCC\, PCC bag\, no magazine capacity limit\nCOLORS\nWHITE designates targets that ARE meant to be shot\nBLACK designates targets that are NOT meant to be shot\nBLUE designates activator plates for moving targets\nYELLOW designates range equipment that is NOT meant to be shot\nCOURSES OF FIRE\nShooters will have 5 minutes to read the Written Stage Briefing and walk-through a course of fire when arriving to a new shooting bay\nIt’s your responsibility to reset targets when you are not the next shooter\nIt’s your responsibility to be ready and waiting when you are the next shooter\nYour course of fire officially starts when you are told to “Load & Make Ready”\n“Load & Make Ready” means load and holster your gun\, check all your gear\n“Are You Ready?” is the Range Officer confirming that you are ready begin\n“Standby” is the Range Officer informing you they are about to start the timer\n***BEEP*** is the audible sound of the timer to begin your course of fire\n“Are You Done?” is the Range Officer asking if you are finished shooting\n“Unload and Show Clear” means unload and show the Range Officer an empty gun\n“Hammer Down and Holster” means dry fire in a safe direction then holster\nYour course of fire is officially over once you holster your empty pistol\n“STOP!” means freeze\, finger off the trigger\, keep the gun pointed downrange\nSCORING\nShot timer + Penalties = Stage Time. All 4 Stages added together = Total Time\nThere is no calibration for steel targets. The Range Officer can call hit if witnessed\nFailure to knock down a knockover target is +10 seconds per target\nFailure to hit hanging steel is +10 seconds per target\nFailure to start with a blue activator plate is +10 seconds per shot\nFailure to spin the spinner is +60 seconds per target\nShooting a no-shoot target is +10 seconds per shot\nShooting outside the designated area is +10 seconds per shot\nDisobeying the Written Stage Briefing is +10 seconds per shot\nShooting range equipment is +60 seconds per hit (and see DAMAGE below)\nTurning your light on during another shooter's course of fire is +60 seconds\nDAMAGE\nShooting the range equipment (painted Yellow) is $20 per hit fine because our range equipment is custom made and we need it to last a long time\nThe Match Director will review each situation to determine fault\, if it is not the shooter’s fault because of bad range design there will be no $20 per hit fine\nRE-SHOOTS\nRe-shoots will be granted for range malfunctions\nRe-shoots WILL NOT be granted for shooter malfunctions (this includes equipment used by the shooter)\, Example: During the course of fire a shooter's NVG malfunctions (falls off helmet or goes dead\, etc)\, The Range officer will command "STOP" and "UNLOAD AND SHOW CLEAR"\, the stage will be scored by the time plus any procedural penalties and penalties assessed for targets left standing. So make sure your gear is strapped on tight and ready to go!\nDISQUALIFICATIONS\nThese are Match DQ’s not Stage DQ’s which means if you are disqualified then you are finished shooting for the day\nThe Match Director will review all DQ’s\, Match Director decisions are final\, there are no appeals and there are no refunds\nUnintentional\, Negligent or Accidental discharge of your firearm at any time during the event is a DQ\nHaving a loaded gun at any time during the event is a DQ\, unless you are the shooter executing a course of fire\nGun handling at any time during the event is a DQ\, unless you are the shooter executing a course of fire or working at a safe table\nDropping a gun during your course of fire is a DQ. If you drop a gun outside your course of fire then get a Range Officer to assist with recovery\nBreaking the 180 degree barrier\, Muzzling any part of yourself\, Muzzling anyone else during your course of fire is a DQ\nFinger on the trigger while Reloading\, Clearing a malfunction\, or while Moving and not actively shooting at targets during your course of fire is a DQ\nDisagreeing with a Range Officer is allowed but being disrespectful is not\, so know the difference because Unsportsmanlike Conduct is a DQ

DESCRIPTION:HALLOWEEN Night Steel\, October 31st\, 2026\nFive Stages only (125 rounds) but bring extra rounds.\nCompetitors are encouraged to dress up for the match!\nRegistration Begins: 6:00pm-6:45pm\nSafety Briefing: 6:45pm-7pm\nStart of Match: 7pm\nEnd of Match: Approx. 10pm\nThis will be an outlaw match only. Scores will not count toward your SCSA classification. This is just for fun.\nAll SCSA Steel Challenge rules still apply with the following additional rules:\nAll competitors will be required to have an approved primary flashlight. Secondary flashlights are allowed for general illumination (walking\, reloading or other administrative purposes).\nApproved primary flashlights:\n1.	Must be capable of atleast 60 lumens but no more than 1000 lumens.\n2.	Must be securely attached to the firearm\, worn on the competitor (e.g. headlamp)\, or held in the weak/support hand (e.g. Chapman\, Harries or FBI technique) during the course of fire. Weapon lights attached to a firearm must remain attached to the firearm unless the firearm or light needs to be serviced at a designated Safe Area. Competitors will not be allowed to shoot with improperly secured devices.\nA) “Securely attached” is defined in this section as being fastened by screws\, rings\, M-Lok\, picatinny or 1913 rail systems. The flashlight can not be attached with duct tape\, scotch tape\, or any other kind of tape or glue. The Match Director will make the final decision on any questionably attached lights.\n3.	Competitors will turn ON their primary flashlight at the “Make Ready” command.\n4.	Competitors will turn OFF their primary flashlight AFTER the “If clear\, hammer down\, holster” command and just before holstering or bagging of the firearm.\n5.	Flashlights cannot be placed on the ground\, propped up or held by anyone else during the course of fire and must remain under the direct control of the competitor.\nLaser devices are allowed but must be used in conjunction with a flashlight (the laser is useless if you can’t see the target). Night vision devices are not allowed (because the RO needs to see the targets too).\nIf a primary flashlight fails or detaches during a course of fire\, the RO will immediately stop the current string and record the time and any misses. The shooter will have up to two minutes to attempt to reattach the light. If the shooter is unable to reattach the light after two minutes\, the RO will end the stage on that string and direct the shooter to a Safe Area to make further repairs. That shooter will be allowed to complete any un-shot strings should he be able to reattach the light.\nAfter a course of fire is completed\, any light that is NOT ATTACHED to a firearm can be activated to assist in resetting targets\, reloading or other administrative purposes.\nDuring the course of fire\, only the competitor should have an activated flashlight pointed at the targets. However\, any Range Safety Office can activate his/her light at any time if they observe any safety violations and stop the competitor.\nSpectators and competitors that are not shooting should not have an activated flashlight pointed toward the targets while a course of fire is active. Competitors that are reloading or at a Safe Area should make every effort to not shine any lights towards the targets or the current shooter. All lights should be at a low power setting when not in use during a course of fire. Spectators and competitors that are not shooting should make every effort to not disturb the current shooter with excess light.\n*** IMPORTANT *** You must have these two waivers on file before you can shoot this event.\n1.
