DESCRIPTION:Local 4 Stage Match\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for Advanced classification or above.\n1Gun is designed to combine the well liked aspects from the different shooting sports\, with dynamic stages and simpler rules. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.\n$22 with a $9 discount for verified PRGC members.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the registration page for the Indoor IDPA match at Freedom Outdoors in Douglasville\, GA\nThis is a monthly LOW-LIGHT Tier I IDPA match held on the 4th Monday of every month. There is a regular Tier I IDPA match on the 2nd Monday of every month.  We try to complete between 4 scenario stages each match and up to 2 standards stages. The number of rounds required is between 80-100 rounds. Please bring at least 100 rounds in case of malfunction or reshoot. No steel-core or steel-cased ammunition is allowed on the range. Common calibers are available for purchase from Freedom Outdoors on site.\nIDPA matches require a safe and operational firearm\, at least two magazines (three is ideal)\, magazine carriers to hold the magazines on your belt\, and a concealment garment such as a fishing vest or Hawaiian shirt.\nTHIS IS A LOW-LIGHT MATCH MEANING TARGETS ARE ENGAGED WITH THE LIGHTS OFF. A FLASHLIGHT IS REQUIRED FOR SAFETY.\nWeapon mounted lights are okay in IDPA\, and it is also recommended to bring a smaller handheld flashlight for scoring pasting and walking around after the stage.\nPlease sign in at the counter to fill out paperwork and process payment prior to entering the range bays. The match begins at 6:00PM\, and shooters are encouraged to arrive prior to 6:00 to assist with setup. New shooters please arrive 30 minutes prior (5:30) to receive a short required safety briefing.\nRegistration is open to current IDPA members and anyone interested in becoming an IDPA member and competitor. DESCRIPTION:The Intown Atlanta IDPA match is a Level I match usually with four (4) stages and a cutoff of 32 shooters. Please arrive early at the range\, pay your match fee at the range check-in desk and help set up\, which starts about 5 p.m. all help is welcome. Please have your kit on and be ready for a shooter meeting at 5:50 p.m. so we can start promptly at 6 p.m.\nLocation: Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center\, 485 Bishop St. NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30318\nSetup starts: 5 p.m.\nNew shooter safety brief: 5:30 p.m. (prompt)\nPre-match meeting: 5:50 p.m.\nFirst shots: 6 p.m.\nNew shooters are welcome! New shooters\, or anyone who would like a safety refresher\, MUST be present by 5:30 p.m. for safety brief. If you're not present at the start of the safety brief you will not shoot.\nIDPA ranges are COLD ranges. All weapons will be UNLOADED\, in a holster or case\, will be slide forward or cylinder closed with the hammer or striker down. All PCCs will be bagged or cased AND have an empty chamber flag inserted. Coming to the line\, PCCs will be either muzzle up or down with a chamber flag inserted WITHOUT EXCEPTION.\nEveryone must help strike props and pickup spent brass after the match and everyone gets out earlier.\nAfter you register\, choose the squad you'd like\, “squad me” and then hit save at the bottom of the page.
