DESCRIPTION:The Oconomowoc Sportsman’s Club is hosting Defensive Carry match’s on the 3rd Sunday starting in March (if weather permits) running through October. These matches are open to members and the public alike. Registration begins at 8 AM\, shooting will begin at 9 AM. Match takes place on our lower pistol bays.\nOur stages will be similar to IDPA and USPSA type shooting and consist of 4 monthly stages. Expect an average match round count of around 72 scoring shots\, between 12 and 26 rounds per stage. Please check our website a few days before the match\, all stage descriptions will be posted listing exact minimum round counts.\nODC offers 3 division choices to shoot in\, all divisions will be scored separately.\nConcealed Carry division: Any handgun is allowed\, magazines are limited to loading a maximum of 12 +1 rounds. Firearm and spare magazines must be concealed by a cover garment.\nOpen division: Any handgun is allowed\, no magazine capacity limitations.\nPCC division: Any pistol/rifle length PCC or SBR’s are permitted\, no magazine capacity limitations. DESCRIPTION:*The Long Gong match will start at 10 am every 3rd Sunday of the month\, starting August 2026.  Gates open at 8 am for sight in.\n22lr only.  Front bipod/bag and rear bag only.  300 yards\, 8” (one point) 6” (2 points) and 4” (3 points) round steel gongs at 300 yards.  Hit to move\, miss you go back one plate.  Five rounds of 10 shots.\nWe have two racks and two benches.\n*Running at the same time will be The Freedom Shack KYL Challenge.  The Freedom Shack KYL Challenge is going to be run side-by-side with the Long Gong Match. This match consists of TWO KYL racks that go from 2" to 1/4" (8 targets per rack). One rack at 50 yards and one rack at 100 yards. The Challenge is hit to move. One string on each rack of 10 shots. To clean this challenge you have to shoot each target once and the 1/4" at the end a total of 3 times. The entry fee is $10\, 50% will be paid back to anyone who CLEANS BOTH RACKS. This is very hard to do and has not been done to date. The 50% if NOT paid out will be saved and rolled over to the next match until we have a winner\, so the pot grows each week. The winner also gets a very cool gold challenge coin I've had made\, winner meaning you've cleaned BOTH racks\, 20 shots straight.

By stretching the capabilities of the world’s most popular and cheapest rifle calibers\, the goal is to create a challenging yet welcoming target shooting environment for a diverse range of shooters; young and old\, rich and poor\, novices and veterans.\nThe organization behind the NRL22 competition is a 501c3 non-profit division of the National Rifle League. With an annual membership fee of only $60/Adults and $25/Youth\, the NRL22 format is an accessible and budget-minded target shooting platform.\nTo provide fair competitive opportunities for as many people as possible\, NRL22 is organized into six shooter classes:\n1.	Base class is reserved for shooters with a rifle and scope totaling less than $1650 MSRP.\n2.	Open class has no rifle restrictions other than rifles must be chambered in 22lr or are air rifles.\n3. DESCRIPTION:This is PCC rifle match.  We also invite pistol shooters as well.  Stages will be a little longer distances. We set up at 11:00 AM and start at 1:00 PM.  Cash is best at the time of the match.  Checks are also ok.  There will be about 4 stages depending on pace of match and stage design.  We sometimes shoot low light stages so bring a weapon mounted tac flashlight. New shooters will need a safety briefing starting at about 12:15 PM. Please be on time. Bring 125 rounds of ammo.  We have rifle racks we will be using from now on.  these will be used in place of individual range bags so to  move match along faster.  You will need to clear rifle and flag rifle chamber before racking rifle.  MD will give more detailed  instructions at match time.
