SUMMARY:Cowtown Range - Accurized AR - December
DESCRIPTION:MATCH SUMMARY:\nOur unique Accurized AR matches are held on the third Saturday of each month. This match is designed to test your long-range skills with multiple target engagement distances and positions. Shots are taken from various “PRS style” positions and props throughout the stages. Each match consists of five stages with targets ranging from 100 to 700 yards. Every stage has a 20 round maximum. A typical Accurized AR match requires you to make between 40 to 50 hits\, so bring enough ammunition to accommodate.\nMATCH HIGHLIGHTS:\n• 5 Stages\n• Start Time: 8am\, Squads 1-5\n• Equipment Divisions: Open\, Restricted\, Tactical\, Heavy\, Limited. See rules for equipment requirements.\n• The provided Written Stage Briefings (WSB's) below are subject to change. Final WSB's will be sent out the night before the match.\nMATCH RULES:\n• This match operates under it's own rule set.\n• All shooters must have read and be familiar with the rules of the match. Match rules are attached below.\nREGISTRATION & WITHDRAWAL:\n• Match Fee is $30. Cowtown Range members get a $5 discount.\n• No walk-up entries.\n• Pre-registration and pre-payment are required to enter the range\, and squad for the match.\n• One division/entry per competitor.\n• Withdrawal policy: Refunds (minus transaction fee) will be given to those shooters who withdraw on Practiscore by 6pm on Thursday prior to the match. Refunds are not given for no-shows.\n• New Shooters: If this is your first Cowtown Accurized AR match\, please identify yourself to the squad safety officer (SSO) prior to shooting the match for a safety briefing. If you have any questions\, email us or ask an official when you arrive.\n• Wait List: If you end up on the wait list\, please keep a close eye on your email - if a slot opens up\, you will receive an approval email and have just one hour to pay/squad... after that\, we will move to the next person on the list.\nREQUIRED WAIVER\nPlease use the "Bizzflo" link below to complete the Cowtown Range waiver in advance of the match. It's good for 1 year. If you do not\, you will need to complete the waiver at the range before the match. This is separate from the Waiver in Practiscore.\nhttps://www.bizzflo.com/booking/index/onboarding/code/kv637cf22b\nAs a reminder\, Cowtown Range requires an ID check for everyone entering the range. Please allow yourself a few extra minutes.\nPlease contact the MD for any other questions:\nJosh Johnston\nAccurizedAR@gmail.com

No PE!\nTargets may be required to be shot while you are moving.\nThere is no tactical priority for targets in the open.\nAny stage can have an unlimited number of steel targets as well as unlimited non-threats!\nWith exceptions\, equipment you are using in another pistol sport is probably legal\nThe rulebook is clear\, concise\, unambiguous\, and only 13 pages long!\nFirst year membership in GPA is free\, you can sign up at this link \nMembership Options \n\nIn the interest of safety for all members\, guests\, and visitors\, Belton Gun Club is implementing a temporary ban on all SIG Sauer P320-based pistols being brought onto or used on club property.\nThis decision has been made out of an abundance of caution following a series of recent incidents and un-commanded discharges involving the P320 platform. In light of these events\, several government agencies and private facilities have also adopted similar temporary restrictions on the use of these firearms while further testing and evaluations are conducted.\n****** Important Notice******\nEffective immediately\, all P320-based pistols are prohibited at Belton Gun Club until further notice. This includes all variants and modified versions of the P320 platform.\nPlease note: This restriction applies only to the P320 and its variants. All other SIG Sauer pistols and rifles are unaffected by this ban and remain welcome on club property.\nIf you show up to the match with a Sig P320 or one of it's variants you will be asked to replace it or you will be withdrawn from the match.

If you intend to make use of this practice stage\, please plan to be at the range for 9:00am (an hour before the match begins)\, and notify one of the match director’s in advance to ensure your access to the facilities. Additionally\, we understand there is an element of intimidation to those first few matches\, and we encourage potentially shy shooters not to worry this community is very helpful and you are in great company to learn.\nNo rifle\, no ammo? No problem! We understand that this is an expensive shooting sport to begin with\, and acquiring gear up front can be intimidating and costly. We are able to provide a loaner rifle\, supplementary ammunition and any other necessary gear for first-time shooters. We are happy to offer this for the first few matches for new shooters\, though please do not abuse our charity! If you will require a loaner rifle\, please contact one of the match director’s in advance.\n-8:00am: match setup (feel free to show up early and pitch in!)\n-9:00am: Match briefing and zero\n-10:00am: monthly NRL22 match begins\n-matches will proceed rain or shine\, unless otherwise notified\n-Round count: 75 minimum\n-Safety equipment: hearing protection and chamber flag\n-Note: Non-members must pay a once-per-day $25 guest fee to access the SPFGA property.
