You can shoot the match twice if you register twice\, but only in two different firearm Divisions on two different days.\n-FRIDAY START TIME IS 10:00AM\n-SATURDAY START TIME IS 9:00AM.\n-FUNCTION FIRE WILL BE ALLOWED STARTING ONE HOUR BEFORE THE SHOOTER-MEETING IN THE STAGE COACH BAY. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.

(16 and under on first day of the season)\nWhat is NRL.22?\n• A gateway to precision long rifle competitions such as the NRL or PRS. Designed to be extremely fun for beginners and seasoned shooters alike. This is a very youth friendly competition as well!\n• This is a “Match in a can” where each months match we will be competing against competitors all over the country shooting the same COF. There are monthly prize drawings held for NRL.22 members who competed that month. (Membership not required to shoot!)\n• Targets will be steel only\, each stage will have required shooting positions (i.e 2 shots at target A then B from the first rung of a ladder\, repeat for rungs 2 and 3). Speed and accuracy are both important in this competition.\n• What is needed to compete?\n• A .22lr rifle with a detachable magazine\n• A scope that will permit you to engage targets at various distances (My preference is a scope with MIL hashmarks\, but any scope that gives you the ability to shoot various distances will work)\n• Bipod\n• Other equipment that would be nice would be a shooting bag like a gamechanger\, DOPE card\, binos\, Spotting scope\, ballistic calculator app\, etc. There is NO NEED to go buy a bunch of gear before your first match\, plenty of people will be there to lend out gear. We do now have 2 fully built loaner rifles available to use at the match as well!  Anyone is welcome to share them! DESCRIPTION:Welcome to 3Gun at SJSC!\nThis month we will be starting our winter time shoot off season. This will be a head to head battle with all 3 guns rifle distance 50-60 yards pistol shot gun approx 15-20 yards. This will be a bracket style race until we have the top 3 winners. It’s a great time.\nShooters of all skill levels should find something to enjoy here\, so come on out and show us what you got!  We will be using our 3 ranges. The Action Range and 200 yard range and the 50 yarder for the matches that are located in the back of the property. What to always bring ; eyes and ear protection\, good holster with at least 3 mags for rifle and pistol minimum and caddies for shotgun shells. You never know what we will come up with...BE SURE TO HAVE OPTICS DIALED IN!!\nMatch check in starts at 8:15AM\, safety brief at 8:45AM hammer down at 9:00 am. YOU MUST BE CHECKED IN AND ATTEND THE SAFETY BRIEF TO SHOOT. PLEASE BE ON TIME.\nThere will be 2-4 stages\, featuring a mix of cardboard and steel targets with distances from 5 to 120 yards . Ammo count will be about 150 rds of pistol and rifle each\, bird shot is 100 rds and slugs 5-10. NO STEEL CORE AMMO/STEEL SHOT. Shotgun is BIRDSHOT only.
