DESCRIPTION:Sharpshooters Indoor Range Bowling Pin Competition Match (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete in shooting 5 bowling pins off a tabletop from their respective sides\, using revolvers with 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5\, up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 20 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 3 separate classes\, Minor (380\, 9mm\, 38 Sp)\, Major (357 Mag or Sig\, 10mm\, 45 Auto) caliber\, and PCC. No 44 Mag or other similar or large magnum calibers. No Rifle calibers are allowed. Any sighting system is allowed. A SharpShooter's Match/Range pass is presented to each class winner. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page.\nMinimum Equipment: Revolver\, Holster or gun rug or range bag\, eye and ear protection. Sign up on the Squad listed for your division. If you want to shoot more than 1 division\, you will need to sign separately for each one. There will be a $5 fee for all additional divisions. You may only shoot in 2 divisions.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with up to 10 rds to break the tie. If all pins are knocked down in a tie\, 2 pins will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. If they tie again\, an additional pin will be set up for the next tie-breaker round.

SUMMARY:MCPSL Intro to Steel Challenge Thursday evening 3 stage match 10-01-2026
DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Steel Challenge at Mill Creek Rifle Club\, De Soto\, KS.  3 stages in the evening. Right now I am limiting registration to 1 gun\, depending on how squads fill up I will send out an email if adding a second gun is possible .  $10 match fee for adults.  $5 each for a second gun if room allows.  Pre-teens and Juniors 13-17 $5 match fee for first gun.  Payment for now will be accepted at the range beginning at 5:00pm on match day .  New competitor orientation at 5:30pm.  Shooters meetings at 5:45pm.  Match begins at 6:00pm.  We will try to keep squads together but it may be necessary to move shooters to make sure there are RO's available on each squad. New shooters need to volunteer to learn how to run the tablet and or timer and everyone not on deck\, shooting\, or loading magazines needs to be helping paint. If everyone helps we should be able to finish a stage in approx 30 min to be able to finish in a timely manner.

SUMMARY:FTRPA Indoor Metallic Silhouette - 10/1/26
DESCRIPTION:Setup begins around 5:30pm with a practice available until the safety brief around 6:50pm with the match start at 7:00pm.\nMetallic silhouette involves shooting at steel targets representing rams\, turkeys\, pigs\, and chickens\, seeking to knock each metal target over. In our casual club league indoor silhouette\, animal target sizes vary\, but all are set out to 25 yards.\nEach animal has 10 targets\, and shooters have 4 minutes to complete 10 shots in an attempt to knock them all down. Any .22LR rifle or pistol\, or .177 or .22 caliber air rifle\, is permitted in this match. The match will require 40 rounds\, plus any used during the practice shoot period or making up for misfires.\nOpen to members and the public.\n$5.00/gun for adult club members\n$7.00/gun for adult non-members\nThis match is capped at 3 relays for a total of 48 shooters. Once those spots fill\, a wait list will open here.\nIf we receive cancellations through the withdraw function of Practiscore\, those spaces will be filled from those on the wait list. Any available spaces created by no shows can be offered to walk-ins first come\, first serve.\nYou can add yourself to a relay - called a squad here on Practiscore - so that our younger members and those with early obligations can fill the earliest relays. If you don't have early morning obligations or things like homework to factor in\, please try to leave squad/relay 1 mostly open for those who need to get home sooner.\nThis feature also allows family and friends sharing firearms to reserve spaces in different squads in advance - a huge help to make check-in move a little faster.\nContact indoor.silhouette@ftrpa.com with questions.\nNon-members\, the gate and doors will open around 6:00pm.
