DESCRIPTION:22LR Falling Steel Match at Sharpshooters Indoor Range (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete to knock down five 6"x 8" steel plates from their respective sides\, using only 22LR Rifles or Pistols\, 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5 up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 16 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 2 separate divisions\, Rimfire Rifle and Rimfire Pistol (any sighting system). A free match pass is presented to each division winner. Sponsored shooters are not eligible. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page. Minimum Equipment: Rifle must have a safety flag\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection. Pistol in a safely secured container (Holster\, Range Tray\, Range Bag\, or zippered gun rug)\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection.\nYou may sign up for 2 divisions. There will be a $5 fee for a second division.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with another 10 rds to break the tie. A flagged carbine is treated the same as a holstered pistol\, except for sweeping rules.\n• Uncasing the carbine may be done in a safe area\, or against a side berm or backstop.\n• When a competitor is called to the line to shoot\, they may carry an empty\, with chamber flag\, PCC muzzle up or muzzle down\, or the PCC may be cased.\n• After "Hammer down and Flag"\, with an empty with chamber flag PCC\, the competitor can immediately re-case the PCC or carry the PCC as stated above. The PCC can then be carried to a side berm staging area well behind the firing line and placed back in a case or on a cart.

DESCRIPTION:The July Match will be a regular IDPA match format. Matches generally consist of 4 stages\, and possibly a First and/or Last Shots. Total round count can be up to 108.\nYou must register in advance\, below\, to participate in the Match. Due to space limitations\, only registered participants may shoot the match. We cannot add walk-ins at the match.\nPlease include all information requested on the registration form; including IDPA member number\, Classification\, email and phone number.\nCheck-in and setup starts at 5:00pm. Please enter through the showroom to check-in for the match. You must check-in and pay in order to shoot the match. Check-in CLOSES at 5:50 pm.\nShooter's brief will follow at 6:00 pm and First shots will commence at 6:15pm.\nVolunteers are encouraged to assist with setup.\nWe operate a cold range for the match. A Safe Table is provided to handle unloaded firearms. No loaded firearms are permitted on the property and handling of firearms in the parking lot is prohibited.\nMatch fee for IDPA members - $20.00\, CASH ONLY.\nNon IDPA members will be charged $25\, CASH ONLY. Per IDPA rules\, you must be a member of IDPA to continue shooting IDPA matches.
