SUMMARY:DEFCON - RUCK SHOOT REPEAT November 2026
DESCRIPTION:RUCK\, SHOOT\, REPEAT\nPresented by Defcon Tactical Fitness\nRuck\, Shoot\, Repeat (RSR) is a timed event that combines weighted rucking with precision rifle. The concept is simple: you have a fixed window to score as many points as you can. Ruck a loop\, shoot a rack\, repeat\, and decide how far to push before the fatigue catches up with you.\nDivisions\nChoose one division when you register.\nTactical - Targets at 100 Yards\, shots must be taken from a barricade\nMarksman - Targets at 300 Yards\, can engage from any position\nHow It Works\nYou'll have 45 minutes on the clock to score as many points as possible.\nRuck loop: Complete a loop on foot carrying a rucksack (provided by GORUCK)\, behind the firing line.\nShoot the rack: Return to your firing point and engage a Know Your Limits (KYL) steel rack (provided by Atlas Target Works) at the distance for your division. The rack runs from a 12-inch plate down to a 4-inch plate\, each one smaller than the last. Every plate you hit is worth one point.\nThe catch: you choose how far down the rack to go. Bank the points you've earned and head back out for another loop\, or keep pushing for more. But if you miss\, you lose every point from that string. Smaller plate\, bigger risk. Highest total score when the clock runs out wins.\nYour rifle\, along with all ammunition\, water\, and any supporting tools (shooting bags/lead sleds/emotional support mascots) must travel with you the entire time.\nWhat to Bring\nA zeroed rifle capable of engaging steel at 100 or 300 yards\, depending on your division\nMagazine(s)\nChamber flag (required to be in place while moving with the rifle)\nRecommended 140+ rounds (see ammunition requirements)\nEye and ear protection (required)\nClothing and footwear you can ruck in\nHydration and nutrition\nAmmunition Requirements\nTo protect the steel and everyone on the line\, only brass- or copper-jacketed lead ammunition is allowed. Prohibited: steel-core\, armor-piercing\, incendiary\, tracer\, and bi-metal or steel-jacketed rounds\, including M855/SS109 "green tip." Ammo may be magnet-checked. 3200 FPS limit on all calibers. For this event ammo will travel with you on the ruck. Make sure you pack enough!\nPrizes & Raffle ($950+ Prize Pool)\nEvery competitor who finishes earns an event shirt and a raffle ticket\, with additional tickets awarded by placement. Everyone has a shot at any prize in the pool and top finishers get the best odds.\nRegistration deadline to receive a t-shirt: 10/27/2026\nRefunds: Refunds will not be issued. Credits for future events will be at the sole discretion of the match director.\nThank you to our sponsors!

SUMMARY:Payson Long Gong Nov 15 2026
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Long Gong at the Tonto Rim Sports Club\nAll you need is a scoped .22LR rifle\, a bipod and separate rear bag. And 50 rounds of ammo.\nWe’ll supply three gong targets: 8"\, 6"\, and 4"\nYou shoot from the bench\, and the targets are 300 yards down range.\nThe object is to score as many points as possible with those 50 rounds. You get 1 point for each hit on the 8"\, 2 points for the 6"\, and 3 points for each hit on the 4" steel gong.\nSince this is a risk/reward competition\, you shoot for the 8" first\, and if you hit it\, you may move to the 6". Hit that\, and you can move on to the 4". A miss on the 6" or 4" means that you move back to the previous gong\, and must hit it before moving on. Each competitor shoots 5 10-round sets\, with the maximum possible score of 27 for each set (1+2+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3) and 135 total for the match.\nIt's a game so simple a child can play; so challenging even the best shooters will never perfect it\, and to top it all off\, it’s highly addictive!\nCome join us for a Long Gong match on the 3rd Sunday of each month\, at the Tonto Rim Sports Club’s Jim Jones Shooting Range.\nNon-members welcome. While competitive in spirit\, these matches are fun shoots and we are willing to help if you are interested in joining us!\nMatch fee is $5. Please sign up at Practiscore.com (search 'Matches' for 'Payson Long Gong') Squads consist of 3 competitors: shooter\, spotter\, scorekeeper.\nWe set up the targets at 7:00 with time to verify your sight settings\, and we shoot for score at 9:00 You will have one 2-minute sight-in time to verify your settings before your 1st round. This is done when it is your turn to shoot only.\nAny questions\, contact Match Director at 928-951-0248 or email steel_chickens_TRSC@yahoo.com

DESCRIPTION:Registration/Zero Range Open: 0800-0845\nMandatory Safety/Match Brief: 0845\nMatch Starts: 0900\nYou must be present for the safety brief at 0845 to be eligible to participate. There are no exceptions to this.\nIf you are not familiar with NRL22\, it is a great (and cheaper) way to experience precision rifle shooting.\nYou don't have to be a Member of NRL22 organization to shoot the monthly matches\, but you do have to be a member if you want to be tracked by NRL22 and try to qualify for the NRL22 Nationals each year.\nThe monthly NRL22 Course of fire will be 5 stages (with a possibility of extra side stages). 80+ rounds of 22LR engaging steel targets from 25 to 100 yards. There is a good mix between prone\, barricade and positional stages. Steel targets sized from 1/4" to 6" depending on the stage description.\nMatches are focused on skills development and casual competition in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great opportunity to challenge your marksmanship skills from obstacles and barricades engaging targets as small as ¼ of an inch. Stages will have multiple steel targets ranging anywhere from 25 to 100 yards\, something you can’t shoot on most ranges. Each month is a different course of fire. There will be great mix of new and experienced shooters who love to share knowledge with others who are interested in PRS.\n$30 for non ASC Member\n$20 for ASC Member.\n$10 Discount for LEO/MIL\nYoung Guns (16 and under) shoot free. YG must be accompanied by adult.\nClassifications: Open\, Base\, Ladies\, Young Guns and Old Guns\n.22LR rifles only (Air Rifles are accepted according to NRL22 Air Rifle Rules) (NO .22MAG or pistols)\nYou must use the same rifle for all stages.\nRequired: 22LR Rifle\, Ammo\, Chamber Flag\, Eyes/Ears\nRecommended: Scope\, bipod\, extra ammo for sight in\, dope card/ballistic calculator\, rifle bag\, appropriate clothing/footwear for the weather (this is outdoor range).\nPlease Register and Pay on Practiscore.\nInformation - https://aurorasc.org/departments/action-shooting-sports/nrl22\nMonthly COF - https://nrl22.com/product-category/download/2025-season/\nRules - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1El6Ue6G789j4mlASuwCN6fZDefPLh76h/view?usp=drive_link\nWe will closely follow the NRL22 rules and monthly course of fire but we just want everyone to come out and try shooting NRL22 and have fun. If you have a handicap and cannot get into some of the positions\, we will make accommodations (Old Gun Class). Just come shoot if you are interested.\nIf you are not an ASC member\, you will need a code for the gate at the entrance to the range. The event gate code will be sent to you in your registration confirmation email. Our matches are held on the east side ranges\, which are to the east and behind the general shooting ranges.
