DESCRIPTION:This is a handgun match that is a great way for those new to shooting competition to get started and for those with a lot of experience to show off in a tough competition. Why has shooting bowling pins taken off to the extent it has? Because it’s fun! Bowling pins are a dynamic target\, if you hit them off center they tend to fall down instead of going off the table. Once they’re lying down they’ll usually spin when hit on the ends instead of going off the table. DESCRIPTION:This match is a Practical Shooting League evening at CDTSA Milo Range in Bay 12.  PSL happens on the 2nd Tuesday evening of the month during the spring and summer.\nThe start time is at 5:30pm.  This is when the Safety Briefing and the stage walk-through happens and we start shooting soon after.  If you can't make it by then\, get there when you can.  We will start setup about an hour or so before start time (4:30pm).  If you can come to help it would be appreciated.  If you can't make setup\, get here when you can.  If you are later than the start time we will fill you in.  If you shoot\, the cleanup at the end is mandatory.\nThe gates open for non-members at 4:00pm.\nDepending on how many shooters register\, we will have one or two stages set up.  If we set up one stage\, we will shoot it twice with different starting positions\, then change the targets around and shoot it 2 more times per shooter.  If we have two stages set up then we will shoot one stage twice with different start positions then switch with the other squad and shoot the other stage the same way.\nRound count is about 100.  This means you need 100 rounds of ammunition if you don't take any extra shots but more if you do.\n**A Black Badge is NOT required to shoot.  All we ask is that you come with a safety conscious attitude.\nThe cost is $10 for non-members\, and FREE for members. DESCRIPTION:Local 4 Stage Match\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for Advanced classification or above.\n1Gun is designed to combine the well liked aspects from the different shooting sports\, with dynamic stages and simpler rules. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.\n$22 with a $9 discount for verified PRGC members.

There is a low-light IDPA match on the 4th Monday of every month.  We try to complete between 4 scenario stages each match and up to 2 standards stages. The number of rounds required is between 80-100 rounds. Please bring at least 100 rounds in case of malfunction or reshoot. No steel-core or steel-cased ammunition is allowed on the range. Common calibers are available for purchase from Freedom Outdoors on site.\nIDPA matches require a safe and operational firearm\, at least two magazines (three is ideal)\, magazine carriers to hold the magazines on your belt\, and a concealment garment such as a fishing vest or Hawaiian shirt.\nPlease sign in at the counter to fill out paperwork and process payment prior to entering the range bays. The match begins at 6:00PM\, and shooters are encouraged to arrive prior to 6:00 to assist with setup. New shooters please arrive 30 minutes prior (5:30) to receive a short required safety briefing.\nRegistration is open to current IDPA members and anyone interested in becoming an IDPA member and competitor. DESCRIPTION:The Intown Atlanta IDPA match is a Level I match usually with four (4) stages and a cutoff of 32 shooters.
