SUMMARY:Hyatt Presents - NC State NRA AR Challenge L2 Championship
DESCRIPTION:This is the 2026 North Carolina State NRA America's Rifle Challenge L2 Match\nLocation:\n783 Shooting Range Road\nPolkton\, North Carolina 28135\nThe NRA America's Rifle Challenge (ARC) Program is a dynamic\, marksmanship-oriented\, firearms competition\, based on the AR-15 and/or other appropriate semi-automatic rifles. The NRA ARC program\, administered by the NRA's Competitive Shooting Division\, provides for several different levels of sanctioned matches\, Level 1 and Level 2\, as well as an ARC 2Gun event\, which incorporates semi-automatic handguns and is similar to ARC Level 2. The NRA ARC Program also provides a structured NRA ARC Training Course\, which is under development.\nNRA ARC L2 courses of fire are dynamic and generally require movement\, positional shooting\, shooting from props/barricades and test accuracy skills all under time limitations\nSchedule of events:\nMatch setup - 10:00 am - 11:30 am\nMatch sign-in ends at 11:30 am\nMatch safety brief - 11:30 am\nMatch start - 12:00 pm\nMatch Fee - $75 for members / $95 for non-members. If you register for both the L1 and L2 match\, there is a discounted rate of $150.00 for both matches.\nWhen you arrive at our range\, head to the Pro Shop and sign in\, and pay for the match. Then head down to the competition bays to be present for the safety briefing.\nFour standard capacity magazines are required for your AR; magazine carriers are nice but not required\, you may use your pockets. Bring 120 rounds of ammo for your AR with an average round count between 100-120 rounds for the match. A rifle sling and Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) are also required.\nNRA ARC L2 is a dynamic action sport. Slings\, and other equipment must be of sufficient quality and construction to retain firearm(s) and other items during vigorous movement.\nNRA ARC matches operate as cold range events. Please ensure your weapon is unloaded and no magazine is installed when you arrive. There will be a safe area for handling firearms. No ammo will be allowed in the safe areas. This means that all firearms must remain unloaded\, rifles slung or placed in carts with a chamber flag fully inserted INTO THE CHAMBER of the firearm unless under the direct supervision of an RO or safely handled while in a designated safe area or function fire area. Transport of firearms during a match - when moving any firearm from one location to another (such as stage to stage)\, the firearm will be COMPLETELY unloaded. Handguns will be holstered or bagged\, and rifles will be slung\, fully cased\, or carted with a chamber flag or empty chamber indicator (ECI) properly inserted into the chamber of the firearm.\nFood and beverages will be available for purchase after the match at the After Clays Restaurant and Bar. Ammo\, firearms\, and shooting supplies can be purchased at the pro shop.\n***** IMPORTANT: An NRA Competitor ID Number is required to participate in ARC and is used for classification purposes in all NRA-sanctioned tournaments. Competitors shall visit the NRA competitive shooting web portal and register for this six-digit NRA ID number. This is separate from an NRA membership number. NRA membership is NOT required to participate in ARC events\, but is highly encouraged. Use this link for your free NRA competitor ID number: https://competitor.nra.org *****\nFor more information\, please see the NRA ARC Rule book: https://arc.nra.org/media/10359/arc-rulebook.pdf\nIf you have any questions\, please call us (704) 826-6014 or email edeconde@gmail.com

SUMMARY:OSA 22 Field Hunt - 02 August 2026
DESCRIPTION:OSA 22 Field Hunt… great practice for hunters and a whole lot of fun!\nThe 22 Field Hunt is open to OSA members\, OSA affiliate members and guests.\nThis event is for 22LR rifles and air rifles in 17\, 22\, and 25 caliber\, of a design suitable for hunting.\nCourse of Fire\nA zeroing target will be available at the beginning of the day.\nThe course of fire is a field course. There are two stages\, one with 7 lanes and the other with 4 lanes. Most lanes have 3 targets. Most lanes have a range prop that must be used in a specific way. Overall\, you'll use most of the common field positions. You will be timed\, and your score will be "time taken".\nShooters will be put into small groups who will stay together throughout. They will take turns shooting\, scoring\, and painting targets. Each group will start on a different lane\, and the groups will move from lane-to-lane round-robin style until all groups have completed all lanes. (The course has been set up so that all lanes can be active at the same time.)\nEquipment & Personal Kit\nRifles: 22LR rifle with 22LR standard velocity ammo OR air rifle in 17\, 22\, or 25 caliber.\nAmmo: The course of fire requires a minimum of about 100 rounds\, but you must hit every target twice\, so bring lots! For air rifles\, if you have an auxiliary air tank\, bring it.\nClasses: There will be three classes: 22LR rifle semi-auto\, manually operated 22LR and air rifle.\nBinoculars: Adequate for spotting shots when you are the scorer.\nWriting and Note-Taking Materials: Adequate for filling out scorecards.\nElectronic hearing protection and safety glasses are required.\nPersonal Supplies: The match is conducted on bush trails\, with uneven terrain. You'll need good footwear\, long pants\, and a long-sleeved shirt. Clothing needs to be loose-fitting so you can adopt the required shooting positions. You'll need protection from sun and biting insects. Bring your own lunch and plenty of water plus some electrolyte beverage. There'll be some walking involved\, so you'll want a backpack or something similar. Check the weather forecast for the day - we'll plan to conduct the practice no matter the weather\, so be prepared.\nAdministration\nWe'll start at "The Thou"\, where you will park. Plan to be there at 0930 for check-in\, zero confirmation\, safety briefing\, and group assignment. You must be present for safety briefing\, or you will not be allowed to shoot. We plan to be shooting by 1000 hours. NOTE: There may be other groups using our other ranges... they should be well clear by the time you arrive\, but be sure to follow the signs (not other travelers) on the road.\n$50.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members and OSA affiliate members. If you're under 18\, register as a junior.\nWaivers: You will be required to sign a liability waiver as part of registering for the event on PractiScore. You are required to belong to an organization that covers you with liability insurance (such as the CSSA\, CCFR\, NFA\, or similar).\nYou must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.\nNote that we no longer allow photographs to be taken on MilCun property.

SUMMARY:Iowa Precision Rifle Match (IPRM) - Aug 2026
DESCRIPTION:Iowa Precision Rifle Match (IPRM) is an Entry level PRS style match. This series is designed to help shooters get started in PRS with a low competition level\, low gear requirements\, and coaching along the way. If you want to shoot your first PRS style match this is the place for you.\nMatch Format\nThese matches will have 6 to 8 stages. Each stage you will have a designated course of fire set by the match director and have 8 to 10 shots at each. The course of fire will give you defined positions you need to shoot from (prone\, barricade\, tree\, roof top) and which target you need to shoot on the stage (Target #1\, 5 targets in a row\, targets biggest to smallest). The distance to each target will be provided in the course of fire. The stage could have one position and three or four different targets\, or it might have four positions and one target. At each stage you will have time before shooting to find each target\, write out your drop data\, make a preliminary wind call\, and create a stage plan to execute the course of fire. Once it's your turn to shoot you will have 2 min to complete the stage. Any shots after 2 min do not count towards your score.\nScoring\nScores are tracked per shooter. (no teams). You will receive one point for each impact on the correct steel target during each stage.\nSquads\nThe morning of the match we'll divide up into squads and shoot each stage together. Shooters in the squad will take turns shooting in the order provided. Once all the shooters in the squad have shot the squad will move as a group to the next stage. Shooters in each squad will be asked to help "judge" the match. Shooters will need to keep track of the 2 min time limit\, spot for impacts\, and keep score of how many targets are hit. Shooters are encouraged to help the squad with these duties while not shooting to keep the match moving faster.\nSuggested Gear (Rentals available too)\nWe recommend you come to your first match with minimal gear and see what other shooters are using. Don’t spend a ton of money on gear that is not right for this style of shooting. Ask to borrow gear when you don’t have it. Everyone is there to help everyone.\nRifle with a scope that has exposed turrets. (first focal plane recommended)\n80 rounds of ammunition\nConfirmed Ballistic Data for your rifle and ammunition to 600yds (farther is better)\nBipod\nRear Bag\nData holder for stage targets (mounted on rifle or quarterback arm bar)\nPositional bag\nHearing Protection\nClothing appropriate for the weather\nTripod with binoculars or spotting scope (optional)\nSnacks or lunch as food is not typically provided. Water will be available on the range.\nMatch Schedule\n8:15am - Match Registration and Squading opens (Zero Board Opens) (pay $40 match fee at check-in)\n9:00am - Safety Brief (Attendance Required)\n9:15am - Range Hot (Start Shooting)\n3pm(ish) - Match should be over.\nWe don't give out any awards\, trophies\, or prize table for these matches. They are based around new shooters learning rather than who wins. We will tabulate the score when everyone if done shooting and announce the winners of the match.\nSeries Director\nTed Hoeger\nAccuracyDynamics@gmail.com\n515-669-2325
