DESCRIPTION:22LR Falling Steel Match at Sharpshooters Indoor Range (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete to knock down five 6"x 8" steel plates from their respective sides\, using only 22LR Rifles or Pistols\, 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5 up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 16 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 2 separate divisions\, Rimfire Rifle and Rimfire Pistol (any sighting system). A free match pass is presented to each division winner. Sponsored shooters are not eligible. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page. Minimum Equipment: Rifle must have a safety flag\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection. Pistol in a safely secured container (Holster\, Range Tray\, Range Bag\, or zippered gun rug)\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection.\nYou may sign up for 2 divisions. There will be a $5 fee for a second division.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with another 10 rds to break the tie. If all plates are knocked down in a tie\, 2 plates will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. Each year we honor 10 Fallen Special Operation Service Members that have sacrificed everything for our country. Our goal is for everyone to walk away with a sense of who these Service Members were and what they truly sacrificed.  Not only will the money raised be donated through the Memorial Valor Foundation to these 10 families\, but it also allows the Foundation to help support previous honorees families throughout the year.\nMATCH:\n- There will be 10 Stages plus Side Stages.\n- Entry Fee: $450.00 for adults and $425 for Juniors.  A match T-shirt is included with this year’s registration fee.\n- Registration will open 25 April 2026 @ 7PM EDT\n- Squadding will open 1 July 2026 @ 7PM EDT\n- Gold Star family members shoot for free. Send an email message to M3GMatch@MemorialValor.com if you plan to shoot as a Gold Star Family member\n- Staff and RO's please check back for the volunteer link. Targets left standing will incur a 10 second penalty per target. Eye and ear protection required for all shooters and spectators.\nTwo relays on the 9th\, 10th\, and 11th. Morning relay starts at 9AM each day\, afternoon relay starts at 2PM each day. Check-in begins 1 hour prior to relay start time. DESCRIPTION:BSC Action Pistol Practice offers an excellent opportunity for intermediate-advanced level shooters to refine their skills\, evaluate equipment\, and participate in structured range activities related to competitive shooting. This program is particularly well-suited for individuals new to competitive pistol shooting who wish to gain experience prior to entering formal matches. Experienced participants will benefit from organized drills designed to enhance speed\, accuracy\, and overall technique\, while newer shooters will receive guidance in a supportive and controlled environment.\nRegistration approval will be exclusively for club members for the first five days of the registration period. Members must take this opportunity to secure their spots. If members fail to fill all available slots\, non-members will be approved in the order of their registration.\nCost\nMembers: Free\nNon-members: $10\nRequired Equipment\nSafety eyewear and hearing protection\nA suitable firearm\nA sturdy belt and belt-mounted holster\nSufficient magazines to carry at least 30 rounds\nApproximately 100 rounds of ammunition\nMagazine pouches are recommended; however\, spare magazines may be carried in pockets if necessary.\nSchedule\nCheck-in: 4:30 PM (pistol range)\nSafety briefing: 4:50 PM\nShooting commences: 5:00 PM\nAll participants are required to demonstrate safe firearm handling at all times.\nImportant Safety Information\nAll firearms must be unloaded and properly cased upon entering Brunswick Sportsman’s Club.\nParticipants are required to check in with Nola or Dave upon arrival.\nNew participants will be assisted by Range Officers throughout the process.\nThis is a cold range; firearms must not be handled or prepared except at a designated safe table or under direct supervision of range staff.
