There is always the possibility of a low light stage. Indoor and outdoor\, weather and daylight permitting\, otherwise indoor only.\nShooters who have never previously competed in an action pistol match (GPA\, IDPA\, USPSA\, ICORE) are required to attend a safety briefing at 5:30pm at the range on the day of the match. Shooters needing a safety briefing MUST indicate the need on the sign up page. Failure to do so will result in no briefing being held and the shooter being turned away from the match.\nThere are 6 places reserved for Safety Officers - we need enough to run the match\, We cannot do it alone. Please have your kit on and be ready for a shooter meeting at 5:50 p.m. so we can start promptly at 6 p.m.\nLocation: Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center\, 485 Bishop St. NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30318\nSetup starts: 5 p.m.\nNew shooter safety brief: 5:30 p.m. (prompt)\nPre-match meeting: 5:50 p.m.\nFirst shots: 6 p.m.\nNew shooters are welcome! New shooters\, or anyone who would like a safety refresher\, MUST be present by 5:30 p.m. for safety brief. If you're not present at the start of the safety brief you will not shoot.\nIDPA ranges are COLD ranges. All weapons will be UNLOADED\, in a holster or case\, will be slide forward or cylinder closed with the hammer or striker down. All PCCs will be bagged or cased AND have an empty chamber flag inserted. Coming to the line\, PCCs will be either muzzle up or down with a chamber flag inserted WITHOUT EXCEPTION.\nEveryone must help strike props and pickup spent brass after the match and everyone gets out earlier.\nAfter you register\, choose the squad you'd like\, “squad me” and then hit save at the bottom of the page. DESCRIPTION:Rimfire Rifle consists of 4 stages of fire.\nEach stage has 5 reactive targets at 25 yards. 4 regular targets and 1 stop plate target.\nShooters will shoot the 4 regular targets first and then the stop plate to stop the clock.\nEach stage consists of 5 strings of fire\, the best 4 of the 5 strings are used to calculate your score.\nShooters have 30 seconds to shoot the 5 targets. Any targets not hit before the stop plate incurs a penalty for each target. Each penalty adds 3 seconds to the shooters score.\nScoring is a combination of your time plus any penalties for missed targets.\nFastest time wins.\nThere are 3 divisions for Rimfire Rifle:\nLimited: ­ Iron sights only\nOpen: ­ Red dot sights and scopes are allowed\nBolt: Bolt action or lever action no restriction on sights\nEquipment needed: 22 rimfire rifle with at least 5 magazines.\nAmmunition – Bring along at least 150 rounds. 100+ for the match and some extras for “do overs” or malfunctions.\nEye and ear protection is required at all times.\nAt this time we are unable to take Credit/Debit Cards\, Registration fee is Cash Only.
