DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the registration page for the Indoor IDPA match at Freedom Outdoors in Douglasville\, GA\nThis is a monthly Tier I IDPA match held on the 2nd Monday of every month. There is a low-light IDPA match on the 4th Monday of every month.  We try to complete between 4 scenario stages each match and up to 2 standards stages. The number of rounds required is between 80-100 rounds. Please bring at least 100 rounds in case of malfunction or reshoot. No steel-core or steel-cased ammunition is allowed on the range. Common calibers are available for purchase from Freedom Outdoors on site.\nIDPA matches require a safe and operational firearm\, at least two magazines (three is ideal)\, magazine carriers to hold the magazines on your belt\, and a concealment garment such as a fishing vest or Hawaiian shirt.\nPlease sign in at the counter to fill out paperwork and process payment prior to entering the range bays. DESCRIPTION:The Intown Atlanta IDPA match is a Level I match usually with four (4) stages and a cutoff of 32 shooters. Please arrive early at the range\, pay your match fee at the range check-in desk and help set up\, which starts about 5 p.m. all help is welcome. Please have your kit on and be ready for a shooter meeting at 5:50 p.m. so we can start promptly at 6 p.m.\nLocation: Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center\, 485 Bishop St. NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30318\nSetup starts: 5 p.m.\nNew shooter safety brief: 5:30 p.m. (prompt)\nPre-match meeting: 5:50 p.m.\nFirst shots: 6 p.m.\nNew shooters are welcome! DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Thurmont Wednesday Steel Challenge Match.\nMATCH DESCRIPTION:\nThis match will consist of 8 Official Steel Challenge stages.\nRound count will be approximately 195+. Bring extra ammo\, as it there is none available for purchase at the facility.\nRULES:\nThis is a Tier 1 local Steel Challenge match and we will abide by the rules of Steel Challenge Shooting Association.\nAll SCSA divisions as well as LO\, RRI\, and RRO are included.  So let's see those Wheel Guns.\nThough you may register in multiple divisions\, you may only register once in any individual division.\nSCORING:\nWe will use the normal Steel Challenge Scoring.\nSAFETY AREAS:\nThurmont is a COLD range. Firearms must be unloaded at all times except during the match under the direct supervision of a Range Safety Officer (RO). HANDLING OF FIREARMS AT VEHICLES IS PROHIBITED. Long guns must have an EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR (Chamber Flag) IN PLACE at all times starting from the moment the rifle is uncased for placement in a gun cart or brought to the shooting position. Pistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated Safety Areas or unbagged under the direction of a RO/SO at the shooting position.\nSafety Areas are clearly marked with signs.  If the table doesn't have a sign marked "Safety Area" then it isn't one and Gun Handling is not allowed there but ammunition handling is.\nNO AMMUNITION HANDLING in safety areas. Note that cinder block and plywood walls ARE NOT safety areas. Use of suppressors is not prohibited but the match director can not assure accurate times.\nAll pistol calibers permitted. I.e.\, 9mm\, 38super\, .40S&W\, 45ACP\, .38 Special\, 44 Special\, 45LC\, .and 22lr rimfire. As per SCSA rules the maximum velocity for any Handgun or Pistol Caliber Carbine shooting steel is 1600fps. The use of ANY Steel core\, or steel (bimetal) jacketed ammunition (even with permitted calibers) is PROHIBITED on our steel will be an immediate disqualification and the shooter will be financially responsible for damage to the steel plates.\nMatch fees:\nNon-TCSC members:\n$20 for Adult 1st gun\n$15 for Junior (13 through 17) 1st gun\n$10 for Preteen (12 and under) 1st gun\n$10 for 2nd gun.\nTCSC members:\n$5 Club Member discount on above fees for 1st gun\n$10 for 2nd gun.\nOnline via Credit Card\nIf you can not pay via Credit Card online and need to pay Cash on the day of the match\, contact us at tcsc.steel@gmail.com and\, on rare exception we will send you a link. DESCRIPTION:BRPC Tuesday Night Steel (First and Third Tuesdays)\n$15.00 per shooter free for juniors (under 16). $10.00 for BRPC members CASH ONLY. BRPC TNS shirts available for $40.00.\nSign in will open at 5:30pm at the RSO office with safety briefing at 6:00.\n3 stages of steel shooting fun (45 total participants). Holsters will be required with weapons only being handled at the shooting line/start position when told to make ready. Lights will be on for when daylight hours are shorter. Everyone is expected to help reset the targets. Basic safety equipment is required including safety glasses and Ear protection with a brimmed hat being recommended for protection from falling spauling. Scoring will be time plus\, and the top shooters for each squad will compete against each other on the dueling stage at the end of the night. Rules will be based on USPSA standards. 100 rounds recommended. PCC's will compete separately in their own class for the Head-to-Head shoot at the end of the match. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.\n$22 with a $9 discount for verified PRGC members.
