DESCRIPTION:Come shoot with us and enjoy our range. Temple Gun Club USPSA Match is held at Temple Gun Club Range 3924 FM 438 Loop\, Temple\, TX 76501. Setup starts at 8:00 am. Volunteers are always needed\, welcome and appreciated. Sign up / Check in starts at 9:00 am til 9:45 am. Shooting starts at 10:00 am. Second gun is allowed by MD approval only\, and squad capacity is limited to 13 shooters per squad. Match fee is $25 per person. Don't forget to bring water for the match. The minimum and maximum calibers are 9mm – 45 auto. No magnum loads\, tracer\, steel core or incendiary rounds are allowed. Please make sure you arrive early for check in. If you have signed up on Practiscore and are unable to attend please withdraw as soon as possible. Be advised that if the range gets a significant rain a few days prior to the match\, it is possible that it will get cancelled. The bay floors may still be subject to mudding. DESCRIPTION:This match will be 4 stages\, 2 stages in pistol bay 3\, and 1 stage in each bay 4 and 5 at Hillside Shooting Sports Outdoor Range. \nIf there are chances of heavy rain\, pay attention to your email and or the Hillside competitive shooting\nFacebook page for the status of the match.\nRound count will be 100 minimum (plus makeup shots). The gun store opens at noon\, so make sure you have enough ammo before the match starts.\nThis is an unsanctioned steel challenge match\, but we will be following the SCSA and USPSA rules closely.\nSAFETY AREAS:\nWe will be running a cold range. Firearms must be unloaded at all times except under the direct supervision of an RSO(Range Safety Officer).\nPCC's must have an empty chamber indicator in place at all times\, and PCC should preferably be cased/bagged until brought to shooting position with RSO present.\nPistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated safety table\, or unbagged under the direction of an RSO at the shooting position. DESCRIPTION:October 2026 Course of Fire for the NRL22.  We will be shooting this month's 5 stages as published by the NRL22 organization.  In addition\, one club stage may be added at the Match Director's discretion.  Stage descriptions are published on the last week of the preceding month and can be found at NRL22.org.\nMatch registration will begin at 10:00am.  Safety briefing to start at 10:30.  Match will begin shortly thereafter with a ~30 minute sighting shoot.  The course of fire will begin around 11:00.\nMatch fees are $20 for Lee Sportsmen Members\, $30 for non-members and are paid at the range.\nPlease note that all matches are weather permitting. No charge for match staff.\n$10 for a 2nd run if an open space is available.\nPlease arrive at least 15 MINUTES BEFORE your shoot time\, and wait in the club-house until you have been checked-in and asked to enter the range. Observers are not permitted within the range without prior approval by the match director.  We run a cold range.  Please arrive with firearms unloaded. If you happen to arrive with a loaded firearm\, please inform match staff to be safely unloaded.\nNOT PERMITTED:\n• SIG P320/M17/M18 currently banned by IDPA\n• Appendix holsters\n• PCC's\nEquipment Required:\n• Pistol and strong-side holster IWB/OWB\n• 3 magazines (for most divisions)\n• Concealment garment to hide your gun and loading devices.\n• Eye and ear protection.\n• Ammunition (bring at least 100 rounds)\n• Warm clothing and handwarmers for the colder months\nWe do occasional low-light stages\, and will try to notify shooters ahead\, but a handheld flashlight or weapon-mounted light and holster may be necessary.
