Each additional entry in this manner will allow you to pick a respective Division and Squad; this will result in multiple registrations for the same match being displayed under your PractiScore dashboard profile.\n**NOTE: As a reminder\, we operate using a "cold range" principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box or holster until you are under the direct supervision of a SHOOT SIG Range Officer and have been instructed to "load and make ready" on a prescribed course of fire. You will not load your magazine to fire all five shots at the five targets in the string.\nThis will be a prone match using Bipods or Packs for front rest\, no rear bags will be allowed. Those shooters that rather not shoot from the prone position will be allowed to shoot from the bench\, the same rules apply as far as support.\nWe will advance shooters into classes-\nAll shooters start in Markman Class\nAchieve Expert Class with a score of 30+ in Marksman\nAchieve Master with a score of 35+ in Expert\nTargets will be as follows-\nMarksman Class will have targets at  305\, 403\, 415\, 600\, and 705yards.\nExpert Class will have targets at 305\, 415\, 505\, 600\, and 705 yards\nMaster class will have targets at 305\, 415\, 505\, 600\, and 800 yards\nPlacement will be based on overall scores. The tie breaker target will be at 600 yards to determine 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place.\nFor the first string you will have seven and a half minutes to shoot sighters. In that seven and a half minutes you will have to shoot five rounds for score. Then approximately a one-minute break and then two and a half minutes to shoot the next string of five targets. Subsequent strings will be two and a half minutes. Total of 8 strings\nShooters will be broken up into squads. For example\, say twenty people show up. The squads will break down into four shooters per squad and five squads shooting. All squads will shoot at the same time. People will need to bring Chairs\, shooting mats\, and Binoculars or spotting scopes to score hits. This is an opportunity to get your rifle "off the bench" and challenge your marksmanship skills while developing new skills most shooters can't practice on a range.  Participants will face new scenarios each month\, with two short-range engagement stages\, and one long range engagement stage at 100 yards. Shooters will be "scored" based on stage time plus penalties.\nShooters should bring a semi-automatic rifle and plan on firing up to 150 rounds. Up to 4 magazines may be utilized on a single stage\, and your favorite mag retention system is encouraged. We do not impose limitations on firearms; all calibers and legal equipment is welcome. Green tip or steel core ammunition is not permitted for use on steel targets. Optics are shooters choice\, iron sights\, red-dots\, and magnified optics are all welcome. DESCRIPTION:OSA 22 Field Hunt… great practice for hunters and a whole lot of fun!\nThe 22 Field Hunt is open to OSA members\, OSA affiliate members and guests.\nThis event is for 22LR rifles and air rifles in 17\, 22\, and 25 caliber\, of a design suitable for hunting.\nCourse of Fire\nA zeroing target will be available at the beginning of the day.\nThe course of fire is a field course. There are two stages\, one with 7 lanes and the other with 4 lanes. Most lanes have 3 targets. Most lanes have a range prop that must be used in a specific way. Overall\, you'll use most of the common field positions. You will be timed\, and your score will be "time taken".\nShooters will be put into small groups who will stay together throughout. They will take turns shooting\, scoring\, and painting targets. Each group will start on a different lane\, and the groups will move from lane-to-lane round-robin style until all groups have completed all lanes. (The course has been set up so that all lanes can be active at the same time.)\nEquipment & Personal Kit\nRifles: 22LR rifle with 22LR standard velocity ammo OR air rifle in 17\, 22\, or 25 caliber.\nAmmo: The course of fire requires a minimum of about 100 rounds\, but you must hit every target twice\, so bring lots! For air rifles\, if you have an auxiliary air tank\, bring it.\nClasses: There will be three classes: 22LR rifle semi-auto\, manually operated 22LR and air rifle.\nBinoculars: Adequate for spotting shots when you are the scorer.\nWriting and Note-Taking Materials: Adequate for filling out scorecards.\nElectronic hearing protection and safety glasses are required.\nPersonal Supplies: The match is conducted on bush trails\, with uneven terrain. You'll need good footwear\, long pants\, and a long-sleeved shirt. Clothing needs to be loose-fitting so you can adopt the required shooting positions. You'll need protection from sun and biting insects. Bring your own lunch and plenty of water plus some electrolyte beverage. There'll be some walking involved\, so you'll want a backpack or something similar. Check the weather forecast for the day - we'll plan to conduct the practice no matter the weather\, so be prepared.\nAdministration\nWe'll start at "The Thou"\, where you will park. Plan to be there at 0930 for check-in\, zero confirmation\, safety briefing\, and group assignment. You must be present for safety briefing\, or you will not be allowed to shoot. We plan to be shooting by 1000 hours.
