SUMMARY:Secrets of Mental Marksmanship Seminar - 20 September 2026
DESCRIPTION:This is Keith & Linda's seminar based on their best-selling book "Secrets of Mental Marksmanship".\n"This is the best book I have read in 30 years!"\n- LtCol Dave Grossman\nThis seminar is based on the book\, focusing on the key concepts and stories. The book is going to third edition\, but is not yet available for sale. Here's what we cover in the book:\n- There is one thing that all marksmen-whether they're soldiers\, cops\, hunters\, or competitive shooters-agree on: only hits count.\n- Depending on your role\, it may be more important to be faster or it may be more important to be precise\, but in the end it's the shooter who can achieve perfect shots on demand\, all the time\, who wins. To fire a perfect shot\, you need to bring together a mix of very specific conditions into that single moment when the trigger breaks. Some of the required conditions are technical\, some of them are physical\, but the requirements that are most important-and most elusive-are the mental skills.\n- Secrets of Mental Marksmanship is a detailed guide to developing conscious and subconscious powers that will elevate your marksmanship practice\, training\, and performance to the level of expert shooters. Keith Cunningham and Linda Miller -- both champion shooters and master instructors\, with decades of experience in the field and on the range\, provide a set of tools that can be used to acquire and access the mental skills needed to perform to the best of your ability.\n- True stories from military and law-enforcement professionals\, seasoned hunters\, and world-class competitors illustrate key points about marksmanship in the field\, on the range\, and on the streets. By mastering the tools\, skills\, and lessons outlined in this book\, you will be able to get into "the zone" and produce the perfect shot under pressure and on demand\, whenever you look through the sights of a gun.\nTimings: 0930 to 1600. (There will be another group on the range\, so we will coordinate our movements with theirs.)\nBring your own lunch. We'll take a break for lunch\, but there won't be time to go out to town.\nPrice is $75.00 with discounts for OSA members and OSA affiliate members. If you're under 18\, register as a junior.\nIf you haven't been to an OSA event before\, email lindamilcun@gmail.com for detailed instructions. You must have shooter's liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e.\, you must be a member of the CSSA\, CCFR\, NFA\, or similar. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.\nNote that we no longer allow photographs to be taken on MilCun property.

SUMMARY:ASC NRL22 22LR Rimfire September 2026 COF
DESCRIPTION:Registration/Zero Range Open: 0800-0845\nMandatory Safety/Match Brief: 0845\nMatch Starts: 0900\nYou must be present for the safety brief at 0845 to be eligible to participate. There are no exceptions to this.\nIf you are not familiar with NRL22\, it is a great (and cheaper) way to experience precision rifle shooting.\nYou don't have to be a Member of NRL22 organization to shoot the monthly matches\, but you do have to be a member if you want to be tracked by NRL22 and try to qualify for the NRL22 Nationals each year.\nThe monthly NRL22 Course of fire will be 5 stages (with a possibility of extra side stages). 80+ rounds of 22LR engaging steel targets from 25 to 100 yards. There is a good mix between prone\, barricade and positional stages. Steel targets sized from 1/4" to 6" depending on the stage description.\nMatches are focused on skills development and casual competition in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great opportunity to challenge your marksmanship skills from obstacles and barricades engaging targets as small as ¼ of an inch. Stages will have multiple steel targets ranging anywhere from 25 to 100 yards\, something you can’t shoot on most ranges. Each month is a different course of fire. There will be great mix of new and experienced shooters who love to share knowledge with others who are interested in PRS.\n$30 for non ASC Member\n$20 for ASC Member.\n$10 Discount for LEO/MIL\nYoung Guns (16 and under) shoot free. YG must be accompanied by adult.\nClassifications: Open\, Base\, Ladies\, Young Guns and Old Guns\n.22LR rifles only (Air Rifles are accepted according to NRL22 Air Rifle Rules) (NO .22MAG or pistols)\nYou must use the same rifle for all stages.\nRequired: 22LR Rifle\, Ammo\, Chamber Flag\, Eyes/Ears\nRecommended: Scope\, bipod\, extra ammo for sight in\, dope card/ballistic calculator\, rifle bag\, appropriate clothing/footwear for the weather (this is outdoor range).\nPlease Register and Pay on Practiscore.\nInformation - https://aurorasc.org/departments/action-shooting-sports/nrl22\nMonthly COF - https://nrl22.com/product-category/download/2025-season/\nRules - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1El6Ue6G789j4mlASuwCN6fZDefPLh76h/view?usp=drive_link\nWe will closely follow the NRL22 rules and monthly course of fire but we just want everyone to come out and try shooting NRL22 and have fun. If you have a handicap and cannot get into some of the positions\, we will make accommodations (Old Gun Class). Just come shoot if you are interested.\nIf you are not an ASC member\, you will need a code for the gate at the entrance to the range. The event gate code will be sent to you in your registration confirmation email. Our matches are held on the east side ranges\, which are to the east and behind the general shooting ranges. There is an access drive between the 100 yard and 200 yard ranges that will take you to the east side ranges. If you can't find them\, ask a club member or RSO and they can guide you back to the ranges.\nASC Members - When registering on Practiscore - you need to be logged in with your email and have approved ASC membership status in order for the ASC Club discount to appear.\nIf you're not seeing the discount - please contact me so we can resolve this before you register.\nContact Jay at\n312-933-9701\njnierodzik@gmail.com
