DESCRIPTION:This is our monthly steel match at RRPC\, open to the general public.\nThe match fee is $10\, payable in cash or check (made out to "Cash") on the day of the match.  Exact change is greatly appreciated.  Match staff shoots for free.\nThe match comprises three stages and features approximately 90 reactive steel targets.\nThe match is held on the lower ranges.  Shooters check in at the Pistol Range Firing Line starting at 9:00 AM.  Shooters briefing is at 9:30 AM\, and shooting starts immediately after the briefing ends.\nEar and eye protection is mandatory for all\, including spectators.\nThis match is run as a Cold Range\, meaning no one has a loaded gun until they are at a shooting position and commanded to load by their safety officer.\nIDPA/USPSA safety rules and commands govern this match.\nCompetition divisions for this event are:\nCFPI - Center-Fire Pistols with iron(open) sights\nCFPO - Center-Fire Pistols with optics\nPCC - Center-Fire Pistol Caliber Carbines or braced pistols\nAmmo must be common pistol cartridges\, no magnums please. DESCRIPTION:NEW PISTOL RULES:\n    -Any properly functioning carry pistol can be used as long as it can be completely concealed.\n   - If the RO deems a pistol unsafe the shooter will be DQd. Example: triggers that are so light it bump fires.  \nNEW EQUIPMENT RULES:\n   -Holsters must be tight to the body. The holster can be IWB or OWB. But remember the holster must be completely covered.\n   - No shoulder holster\, pocket holster\, drop leg holster\, or race gun holsters allowed. The holster needs to be made of a rigid material and not a collapsible material.\n   -Double belts are not allowed.\n   -Fishing vests are not allowed.\nIn short\, we want you using what you would normally wear when going out on the town.\n   -Only 2 magazines total are allowed on the shooter.\n   -Each magazine will be loaded with 6 rounds max.\nGENERAL RULES:\n   -If a stage starts with an “unloaded gun”\nThe slide must be forward or revolver cylinder closed.\n   -If a shooter is required to shoot from a specific area he/she must shoot from that position. Disregarding this will result in a 3 second procedural penalty and a failure to do right penalty of 10 seconds.\n   -If there are fault lines\, the shooter must “slice the pie.”\n   -A loaded magazine left on the ground is legal.\n   -Police or active duty personnel are exempt from the concealment rules while using a duty rig.\n   -On stage #1 at every CCM event\nIf the start position is outside of the door\, the gun cannot be removed from the holster until the shooter is inside the door. Failure to do so is a DQ. Safety is of highest priority at all times.

You must be qualified to shoot to 600 meters at the MilCun Training Center.\nThis event is based on the precision/sniper rifle matches. It is fired in shooter-spotter pairs. The matches include deliberates (at 100 and 600 meters)\, snaps (at 200\, 300\, and 500 meters)\, and movers (at 200 and 400 meters). You can download the course of fire from the osacanada.ca website (at the bottom of the Events page).\nAmmunition must be proven safe in your rifle; you must have previously fired at least 50 rounds of this load in this rifle. If the ammo shows any signs of excess pressure\, you must withdraw. You'll probably need about 100 rounds for the day\, but it's best to bring double.\nWorking electronic ear defenders and safety glasses are mandatory. One spotting scope per pair is required.\n$75.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members\, $25.00 off for OSA affiliate members. If you're under 18\, register as a junior. DESCRIPTION:ELRSO LIGHT CLASS\nEL MEJOR TEAM MATCH\nATTENTION SHOOTERS:\nELRSO would like to invite everyone to the 1st Annual EL MEJOR “The Best” Team match at the Fantastic 6000 acre SellMark Ranch in Teague\,Tx on October 10-11th 2026. This will be a Light Class Team’s match with both of the shooters combined score used to determine the winner.\nThere will be 2 relays one each day with 8 targets total for the match\, one being a cold bore with one shot each day and 5 shots at each of the 6 targets for a total of 32 rounds for the match per shooter. Day one relay will be one shot at a cold bore target and 3 more targets at 5 shots each. Day two will be the same.\nDistances will be from 1000-2300 yds.\nWe will draw for shooting positions each day with one member of the team doing the drawing and what ever position he draws the teammate will shoot also. Half of the team will shoot first round and the second member will shoot the second and how you decide who goes first is a team decision. This will be the same for the 2nd relay on the second day.\nThe first place team will win a custom buckle each from Champions Choice Silversmith and $500 cash each. Top scoring shooter will win a custom EL MEJOR mug from Champion’s Choice Silversmith and $500. 2nd-5th teams will win custom medals.\nThe ranch has some lodging for shooters and camping is allowed. There is also a fantastic bass lake that you can fish for a day price and nighttime thermal hog hunts are available for a fee.\nThere are 5 hotels in Fairfield with restaurants in town for those that need lodging - they are only 10 min from the ranch.\nThis is a beautiful venue and we can’t wait to hold this match and look forward to seeing everyone there.\nEach member of the team has to signup individually and list your teammate when you register.\nThe weapon configuration fall under the Light Class rules in the ELR Foundation.\nSo go put together the baddest team you can from any walk in the shooting sports and come and prove yourself and let’s see who is the best “EL MEJOR” in Light Class ELR!!!\nThe match will be limited to 30 Teams.\nWe will be doing a family style cookout for dinner both Friday and Saturday night so if you want to participate  please check the appropriate box on the registration form.
