SUMMARY:Dundee Practical Shooters CC03 — October 24\, 2026 | Presented by Tim Austin Construction
DESCRIPTION:With the loss of daylight\, back to one schedule for the winter. 7 squads\, 8 stages including a classifier. This match will probably hit hard cap and not everyone on the waitlist will get in; register promptly ti ensure you get to shoot.\nArrive promptly by **8am** to set up; shooting starts when setup is complete.\nCompetitors will be expected to tear down their last station (croc and bay 1 count as one station for teardown—don’t worry\, they’re small) before leaving.\nNew shooter orientation will be at 8AM.\nDue to range restrictions\, no PCC is allowed.\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\nA note regarding withdrawals: recently there has been a significant uptick in last-minute withdrawals and no-shows. This makes it very hard to use the waitlist to fill in and keep squads balanced\, damaging match flow and leading to frustrating stack-ups.\nHistorically\, due to credit card processing fees\, withdrawing from the match had incurred a $5 handling fee. We are trying something new: there will be *no* handling fee for withdrawal requests made *before* 6pm Pacific on Thursday night. Withdrawal requests made *after* that time will incur a *$10* handling fee\, up until 6am match day. There are no refunds for no-shows or withdrawals submitted after 6am match day. Our hope is that this incentivizes those who know they can’t make it to drop earlier\, allowing for better squad balancing and smoother-flowing matches. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY:Vale Rimfire and Air Rifle Benchrest Match - October 24\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:MOST IMPORTANT INFO:\n*******************************\nGate opens at 9AM for setup and registration\, we start shooting as soon as we're all ready.\nThis will be an approximately 5-hour match with 3 relays of maximum 8 rifles each.\nYou can register a second gun but we may hold some of those for approval to allow as many people to shoot as possible.\nWe will draw your bench and relays prior to the match.\nMATCH INFO:\n*****************\nThis is a rimfire (.22LR) and air rifle benchrest match at 25 yards consisting of 3 relays each with 25 shots for score taken within 20 minutes.\n$10 per gun\, cash only. First timers to this club shoot for free\, kids ages 8 to17 are welcome and always shoot free\, but must be supervised by a responsible adult for the entirety of the match.\nRound count is 75 plus unlimited sighters.\nBring a table to move your equipment due to multiple relays.\n3 classes of rimfire rifles\, 1 class of air rifle.\nAny sight or optic\, any .22 rimfire rifle and all .22 caliber air rifle.\nA scope is highly recommended.\nNo hyper velocity ammo allowed.\nGENERAL INFO and DIRECTIONS:\n******************************************\nGPS coordinates @ 43°56'35.16"N 117°13'18.73"W\nDirections: From the town of Vale\, Oregon travel south on Lytle Boulevard about two miles. The only signs are about fire danger and prohibition of exploding targets. Turn right onto the gravel road\, then at the immediate fork turn left and follow the road for roughly a half mile to the range.\nDrive past the pistol pits with two Conex containers\, then keep right past the first rifle pavilion. The rimfire range will be straight head and you'll see a small building next to a Conex container. Park anywhere on the gravel.\nNEW SHOOTER INFO:\n***************************\nIf you are a new shooter or parent of a prospective new shooter\, please read this section:\nYou are welcome to come shoot this match\, BUT PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY GUNS\, AMMO\, OR GEAR FIRST. You can come and watch a match before you play\, but you will have more fun if you dive right in.\nWe will provide you with a rifle and all the ammo you will need to shoot your first match. No charge\, no obligation\, no kidding -- we love introducing new shooters to the sport.\nThere are myriad choices out there and it is overwhelming to choose your first rifle. It is also silly to show up to a match with a completely wrong gun for this game. Almost all shooters love show-and-tell with their gear\, so you can pick their brains and find out what you might like before you spend a fortune.\nBenchrest short-range is a great match to get you started in the shooting sports or to hone your skills as an advanced shooter.\nQUESTIONS?:\n******************\nContact Bob Smith at 208-880-2549 or BSmith@SnakeRiverSportsmen.com.\nText messaging is preferred\, and we can schedule a time to talk if needed.\nNote that I have little or no cell coverage at the Vale range\, so catch me early on match day if needed.\n******************
