We will manually approve shooters to squad\, with priority going to local Match Directors\, DSA members\, shooters who actively volunteer for the sport\, and then registration order\, up to an initial limit of 75 shooters.  The next 15 waitlisted shooters will be put on an Overflow Squad\, approved for the match\, but not allowed to squad.   If shooters withdraw from the match\, the corresponding number of shooters will be moved from the Overflow Squad to the vacated slots in Squads 1-5\, and waitlisted shooters moved to fill the empty slots in the Overflow Squad. If you're unsure\, just bring what you have and we'll get you sorted at check-in. If you're a new shooter\, please arrive close to 9:30\, leave your guns in the car\, and come talk to us at registration about range safety rules.\n###\n# Fees\n###\nMatch fees are $15 for ORSA members\, $20 for public\, and $5 for juniors. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 2026 Pistol League!\nThis is a NON-COMPETITIVE outdoor match\, USPSA/IDPA/PCSL like with hit factor scoring\, and welcoming to all levels of shooters.\nThere will be 3-5 stages (time and help depending) and a minimum of ~100-150 rounds (recommended to bring more). Stage format will vary between short\, medium\, and long field courses with 1-2 USPSA classifiers (this will not be submitted to USPSA\, practice only). Pistol or PCC equipment only (no rifle or rifle calibers will be allowed at this time).\nCheck-in will begin at 7:30am and end at 8:30am. Shooter safety briefing will begin at 8:45am and shooting to commence at 9am (safety briefing required to shoot that day - if you are running late please reach out). Shooters are also encouraged to help with stage setup\, resetting\, and tear down\, if you can arrive earlier to help please do so. Stage building will be performed the day prior and target placement the day of. If you are able to help with setup it will be the day prior beginning at 3:30pm (Friday 9/18). NROI ROs\, IDPA SOs\, or NRA range officers are encouraged to help run the match (happy to train anyone as well).\nNOTE: Match only available to TLSC members and their allowed guests (guests must denote which member they are shooting under in their registration form). If you register and do not meet this criteria\, those registrations will be removed.\nPREREQUISITES:\nProficient with holster draw and safe gun handling. Match director or safety officer will confirm holster draw with all new shooters. Shooters may opt to begin from a low ready position\, in such cases please bring a pistol case or bag to make ready with.\nBoth OWB and IWB are allowed\, match director reserves the right to deem either unsafe for any shooter participating in this event (shooter may continue with low ready position) or disallow any equipment found to create a safety issue.\nEQUIPMENT REQUIRED:\n- Eye and ear protection\n- Safe handgun\n- Minimum of 3 magazines\n- Minimum of 2 magazine pouches\n- Belt specifically designed for holster use\n- Strong side holster specifically for your gun (SERPA brand is strictly prohibited)\nMATCH FEE NOTE: $15 fee is due to be paid in cash upon check-in. This fee covers targets and other consumable match items (targets\, sticks\, pasters) used during the match. For guests the standard $10 guest fee and waiver would still apply\, as well as the $10 match fee ($25 total).

DESCRIPTION:USPSA at Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club\nPlease arrive by 9:30 AM to allow time for registration.  If you are new to action shooting\, notify a match official during registration.  They will set you up with a safety orientation and pair you with an experienced shooter on your squad.  This will help us to help you have a safe and fun match experience.\nWrap around safety glasses / side shields and hearing protection are required for all shooters and spectators\, no exceptions!  Dress for the range and the weather.  Shooters will need a sturdy belt\, a strong side holster and magazine pouches that fit your firearm and accessories.  A minimum of four magazines is required and five magazines or more are recommended.  Stages generally require 12 to 32 rounds minimum.\nNOTICE:  Required starting condition for CZ Shadow\, 75 and similar pistols will be with the hammer resting on a safety notch (manuf. recommended).  Start will not be allowed with the hammer fully forward as it would not be in a safety notch.\nMatch is weather dependent.  If there is a weather cancellation\, you will be notified by e-mail no later than 7:00 PM the day before the match.  This will allow us to check the hourly forecast out until noon the day of the match.
