Scoring is Time Plus (Points). Scores are calculated based on your stage time plus/minus penalties and bonuses (speed & accuracy).\n3.	THERE WILL BE PRIZES!!! Several awesome companies have generously donated to the prize table and we will be having an "awards ceremony" at the end of each day. We will be photographing the winners and/or posting their scores and prize info to our social media.\n4.	We are estimating that each shooter will need at least 177 rifle rounds and 130 pistol rounds to shoot all the stages 'clean' both days. YOU WILL MISS - SO MAKE SURE YOU BRING PLENTY OF AMMO!!!!!!\nRULES & OTHER IMPORTANT INFO (YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY):\n1. To compete\, your rifle must be based on Mikhail Kalashnikov's original AK-47 design\, having a reasonably similar receiver\, bolt\, bolt carrier\, trunnions\, and gas piston to the AK47; or a rifle heavily based and/or derived from AK 47 and/or used by a combloc country (Galil's are ok). If you aren't sure\, please send us a message or post the question on social media! Pistols are open to whatever the shooter is comfortable with\, but limited to pistol calibers only (i.e. .380\, 9mm\, .40\, .45\, etc.).\n2. KALASHNI-CON events are open to all ages with the following exceptions: All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian. You must be 16 or older to participate in matches.\n3. You will need to present a valid\, unexpired photo ID at check-in to verify registration info.\n4. This event is scheduled to take place\, "rain or shine" and will proceed regardless of weather conditions\, unless safety becomes a concern. If weather conditions become severe enough and/or safety becomes a concern\, the entire event\, or portions thereof\, may be delayed or cancelled. No refunds for cancellations due to weather.\n5. Any sighting system for rifle/pistol are allowed but the same rifle/pistol and sighting system must be used for all stages each day. In other words\, what you start each day with is what you'll shoot with all day. If a rifle or sighting system are unable to finish the day due to mechanical failure\, a similar rifle/sighting system may be substituted with the permission of your Squad RO.\n6. Any accessories that are attached to your weapons (i.e. optics\, bipods\, forward grips\, flashlights\, lights\, lasers\, etc.) must be attached at the beginning of the day and remain attached for all stages that day. You can change day-to-day.\n7. Any non-attached shooting accessories (i.e. front/rear bags\, shooting sticks\, tripod\, etc.) that are used on a stage must be carried by the shooter on their person throughout the remainder of the stage\, except while in use. For example\, you may use a bag but you must carry it through the stage while not in use. Otherwise\, you will incur a procedural penalty.\n8. Rifle targets must be engaged with rifle calibers; pistol targets must be engaged with pistol calibers. NO PCC's. Pistol targets may not be engaged with a braced weapon.\n9. Until instructed otherwise by the Stage RO\, pistols must be unloaded/mag out and hammer/striker down\, and safety engaged (if present); rifles must be unloaded/ mag out and chamber flag present.\n10. SUMMARY:ASC Outlaw Steel - 5-16-26
DESCRIPTION:ASC Outlaw Steel\nLocation:\n7749 Rueff Rd\nWaterman\, Illinois 60556\nFacebook Page: ASC Action Shooting Facebook\n***Effective immediately: due to safety concerns surrounding the Sig P320\, Outlaw Steel is banning the firearm platform from all outlaw steel events. This decision wasn't arrived at lightly\, but in the interest of safety of our members and guests\, we've had to make this decision. This will be reevaluated at a later date\, once the issue has been rectified by Sig Sauer. Please note\, if you show up with a P320\, you will not be allowed to shoot the gun*****\nWhat is Outlaw Steel?\nThis sport is very similar to Steel Challenge. If you're starting with a rimfire/PCC rifle\, or rimfire pistol\, you will start at low ready. For centerfire pistols\, you're start loaded and holstered with your hands in the surrender position. At the beep\, you'll engage 5 steel targets in any order\, with one steel target painted a different color indicating it's the stop plate\, meaning the plate you shoot last after shooting the other 4. You'll repeat this a total of 5 times with your worst time thrown out and the other four used to calculate your stage time.\nPlease note: calibers allowed are as follows: 22 long rifle\, 9mm\, .40 S&W\, 45 ACP\, 38 special. No bottleneck pistol cartridges\, magnum pistol cartridges\, or bottleneck rifle cartridges allowed.\nThis is one of the best ways to get into action shooting\, as well as getting younger shooters started in action shooting.\nAll skill levels are welcome\, and we always welcome new shooters!\nThis year will be a bit different from last year in that we're setting up the stages the day of the match. With 60+ shooters\, this will literally take 10 minutes at most once all of the steel and equipment is dropped off.\nIf you see that the squads are full\, please continue to register. We'll make room for you.\nSetup starts at 08:00 am. If you can meet at the connex boxes to help load steel and equipment onto the trailer\, that will make things run much smoother. Please note that you must help with setup\, otherwise you will not be allowed to shoot the match. The sooner we are done with setup\, the sooner we can get check in done\, safety brief finished and begin shooting at 9am sharp. Our hope is that we have the targets and bays set up before 8:30am so that I can get the tablets synced\, everyone completely checked in\, and get the safety brief done so that we're shooting at 9am. Shooters not checked-in\, or not helping with setup will forfeit their spot. There are no exceptions to this. There are tasks that don't involve lifting steel\, so if you have physical issues that prevent you from lifting steel\, there will be many other things that need to be done.\n**** IF YOU ARE NOT CHECKED IN BY THE TIME THE SAFETY BRIEF STARTS\, YOU WILL BE DELETED FROM THE MATCH ***\nThe prices are $10 for ASC members\, and $20 for non-members. (We recommend extra to cover misses.)\n5 magazines per gun\, especially if using low-capacity mags (e.g.\, 10-round).\nEye and hearing protection for all shooters and spectators.\n******************************************\nMatch Location:\nWe will be shooting in the upper pistol bays next to the indoor pistol range. Follow the entry road through the gates go past the main clubhouse which will be the first building on the left\, drive past the main clubhouse and past 2 maintenance buildings until you arrive at the next building which is the indoor pistol range.\n******************************************\nCOLD RANGE Rule – Safety First!\nAll firearms must remain UNLOADED unless you're on the firing line under an Range Officers supervision.\nKeep firearms secured in a holster\, bag\, or cart.\nFor rimfire rifles and PCC\, ensure the bolt is closed on a chamber flag.\nSafe Area: Located by Bay 1 & 5 and the indoor range. You can handle unloaded guns here\, but no ammunition is allowed in this area.\nImportant: If you're unfamiliar with the COLD RANGE rule\, leave your firearms in your vehicle and check in at registration.\nWe're here to help!\nIf an individual is thought to be in violation of the COLD RANGE rule\, a match official will escort the individual to a safe area and direct the individual to unload and show clear. If the firearm is found to be loaded\, the individual will be disqualified from the match and asked to leave the range.\nPlease leave your concealed carry gun in your vehicle. If you are a law enforcement officer\, duly authorized to carry a loaded firearm\, we ask that you proceed immediately to the registration table and ask for a match official for the express purpose of safely unloading the firearm to avoid disqualification.\n******************************************\nNew shooters\nPlease arrive no later than registration opening time for the match and let us know at the registration table if you're a new shooter. It typically takes 200 rounds per gun with no misses to complete 8 stages. All stages consist of 5 strings of fire on 5 targets. If shooting with a low-capacity magazine (example 10 rounds)\, it is important to have at least 5 magazines per gun to help avoid match delays caused by having to reload magazines while in the shooter’s box.\n******************************************\nNew Shooters Checklist:\nArrive when registration opens (8:00 AM).\nBring extra ammo (more than 250 rounds recommended).\nPay special attention to the COLD RANGE rules.\nFamiliarize yourself with Steel Challenge rules: scsa.org/rules.\nConsider joining USPSA: uspsa.org/join.\n******************************************\nCopy and Paste Links below into your browser.\nLCSA: https://www.shootlcsa.com\nSteel Challenge rules: https://uspsa.org/documents/rules/current/SCSA-Rulebook.pdf\nUSPSA membership: https://uspsa.org/join\nStage Layout: https://imgur.com/a/ArDxrfG\n******************************************\nMatch Location:\nLawrence County Sportsmen’s Association (LCSA)\n3380 North Mill Street\nWampum\, PA 16157\nMap: https://goo.gl/maps/5g3P7jXxH1Jyrdtw8\nIf you have any questions or concerns\, please email us at: lcsasteelchallenge@gmail.com\nWe look forward to seeing you on the range!\nPlease feel free to contact us with any questions.\nThank you\,\nMark\n724-312-1796\nlcsasteelchallenge@gmail.com\nUSPSA/SCSA level I match\, with the following divisions:\nLimited\, Limited Optic\, Open\, Revolver\, Single Stack\, Production\, Carry Optic\, PCCO\, PCCI\, RRI\, RRO\, Rimfire Rifle and Rimfire Iron pistol or rifle.\nPrice: $20 - Adult Shooters\, $10 - 2nd gun\, $5 - Junior Shooters

We typically group the PCC shooters together on each squad and they shoot the stages after the pistol shooters have shot.\nMatch Fee: $15 for most - GMSA club members are discounted to $10 (must show current year gate key or unexpired GMSA ID card for proof of membership)\nPLEASE BRING EXACT CHANGE! Match fees will be collected by each squad's Safety Officer. The Safety Officer IS NOT responsible for making change. Seriously - please bring exact change for your shoot fee(s). If you show up with a $100 bill\, please be prepared to donate your change to the club\, or not shoot because you did not have exact change.\nNO EXCUSES\, NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE!

SUMMARY:Littlestown Open Steel 16 May
DESCRIPTION:This is the Littlestown Open Steel match for Saturday\, 16 May 2026\nWe usually have 3 stages of 6 to 12 targets\, including one "different" stage. For shooters who want "more shooting" we will be running up to 5 strings per stage\, if you don't have (or want to use up) that much ammo you can elect to only shoot 3 strings\, or skip a stage entirely to save ammo for another stage. Strictly shooter's choice\, just let the Range Officers know what you want to do. Practicing "ammo management" should keep the round count in the 100-120 range\, plus however many times you plan to miss. We also try to be "revolver friendly" setting up the stages with a sub-group of 5 or 6 targets if you want to try using a revolver or 1911 without reloading. We usually have room for walk-in registrants\, so if you know someone who is not on Practiscore who wants to shoot\, tell them to come on out.\nIn recognition of the ammunition situation\, we are opening up all squads to rim fire in addition to center fire. Bring out your .22 handguns & carbines and join the .380 to .45 fun!\nThe fee for this match is $10 cash paid at sign in. Sign in starts at 8:00 AM\, if you want to show up a little earlier we always appreciate help setting up the targets. There will be a safety briefing at 8:50\, and we start shooting at 9:00.\nOne operational note: when you start shooting a stage\, you must have enough ammunition on your person loaded in magazines (or some type of loading device if you are shooting a revolver) to complete the stage. Once you enter the shooter's box\, there will be no loading of magazines allowed; if you run all of your magazines dry that will end your stage. We strongly recommend having at least 50 rounds loaded and ready. A magazine reloading area will be provided at each stage\, and you can reload magazines at any time while others are shooting. Please also note that\, in the interest of time\, this will be a "lost brass" event: it would complicate things too much to allow retrieval of spent brass. More details will be provided at Saturday morning's briefing.\nOnce again\, welcome to Littlestown Open Steel!
