DESCRIPTION:The Intown Atlanta IDPA match is a Level I match usually with four (4) stages and a cutoff of 32 shooters. Please have your kit on and be ready for a shooter meeting at 5:50 p.m. so we can start promptly at 6 p.m.\nTHIS IS AN OPTIONAL RIFLE MATCH using IDPA rules.\nLocation: Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center\, 485 Bishop St. NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30318\nSetup starts: 5 p.m.\nNew shooter safety brief: 5:30 p.m. (mandatory)\nPre-match meeting: 5:50 p.m.\nFirst shots: 6 p.m.\nYour squad may change based on squad balance.\nNew shooters are welcome! New shooters\, or anyone who would like a safety refresher\, MUST be present by 5:30 p.m. for safety brief. If you're not present at the start of the safety brief you will not shoot. Safety first.\nResetting stages: ALL COMPETITORS are responsible for helping to reset a stage by pasting bullet holes on targets. You must be helping with reset unless you are the next shooter or you've just completed your stage and reloading magazines.\nCleanup: ALL COMPETITORS are EXPECTED to help strike the stage on which you finish. Pick up at least one prop and get it stored back on its cart and back to the storage area.\nEye protection MUST be worn at all times\, EVEN WHEN SOMEONE IS NOT SHOOTING A STAGE. Coming to the line\, PCCs will be either muzzle up or down with a chamber flag inserted WITHOUT EXCEPTION.\nAbsolutely NO handling of weapons unless you’re at a designated SAFE TABLE or under direct control of a safety officer during a course of fire. NO handling of ammunition\, live or inert\, at a safe table.\nIf you're coming to the match and you are lawfully carrying a firearm\, GO TO AN EMPTY STALL IN BAY 1 TO DOWNLOAD THE GUN. DO NOT download the gun at the safe table.\nBy signing up for and participating in these matches you agree to hold harmless match safety officials and Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center for any accidents that occur.\nAs a reminder\, Sig P320 pistols and ALL of its variants are not allowed at IDPA matches. If there are fewer than 20 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 3 separate classes\, Minor (380\, 9mm\, 38 Sp)\, Major (357 Mag or Sig\, 10mm\, 45 Auto) caliber\, and PCC. No 44 Mag or other similar or large magnum calibers. No Rifle calibers are allowed. Any sighting system is allowed. A SharpShooter's Match/Range pass is presented to each class winner. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page.\nMinimum Equipment: Revolver\, Holster or gun rug or range bag\, eye and ear protection. Sign up on the Squad listed for your division. If you want to shoot more than 1 division\, you will need to sign separately for each one. There will be a $5 fee for all additional divisions. You may only shoot in 2 divisions.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with up to 10 rds to break the tie. New shooters need to volunteer to learn how to run the tablet and or timer and everyone not on deck\, shooting\, or loading magazines needs to be helping paint. If everyone helps we should be able to finish a stage in approx 30 min to be able to finish in a timely manner.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Thurmont Friday Steel Challenge Match.\nMATCH DESCRIPTION:\nThis match will consist of all 8\, Steel Challenge stages.\nRound count will be 195 minimum (plus makeup shots). Bring extra ammo\, as it there is none available for purchase at the facility.\nRULES:\nThis is a Tier 1 local Steel Challenge match and we will abide by the rules of Steel Challenge Shooting Association.\nAll SCSA divisions as well as LO\, RRI\, and RRO are included .  So let's see those Wheel Guns.\nThough you may register in multiple divisions\, you may only register once in any individual division.\nSCORING:\nWe will use the normal Steel Challenge Scoring.\nSAFETY AREAS:\nThurmont is a COLD range.\nFirearms must be unloaded at all times except during the match under the direct supervision of a safety officer (SO).\nHandling of firearms at vehicles is prohibited. Long guns must have an EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR (Chamber Flag) IN PLACE at all times starting from the moment the rifle is uncased for placement in a gun cart or brought to the shooting position.\nPistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated Safety Areas or unbagged under the direction of a RO/SO at the shooting position.\nSafety Areas are clearly marked with signs.  If the table doesn't have a sign marked "Safety Area" then it isn't one and Gun Handling is not allowed there but ammunition handling is.\nNO AMMUNITION HANDLING in safety areas. Use of suppressors is not prohibited but the match director can not assure accurate times.\nAll pistol calibers permitted. As per SCSA rules the maximum velocity for any Handgun or Pistol Caliber Carbine shooting steel is 1600fps. The use of ANY Steel core\, or steel (bimetal) jacketed ammunition (even with permitted calibers) is PROHIBITED.\nMatch fees:\nNon-TCSC members:\n$25 for Adult 1st gun\n$20 for Junior (13 through 17) 1st gun\n$15 for Preteen (12 and under) 1st gun\n$15 for 2nd gun.\nTCSC members:\n$5 Club Member discount on above fees for 1st gun\n$15 for 2nd gun.\nOnline via Credit Card\nIf you can not pay via Credit Card online and need to pay Cash on the day of the match\, contact us at tcsc.steel@gmail.com and\, on rare exception we will send you a link.
