Currently everyone on the waitlist gets into the match; we intentionally set the squad size a little low at first to make sure our squads stay balanced as people withdraw over the course of the week.\nA note regarding withdrawals: recently there has been a significant uptick in last-minute withdrawals and no-shows. This makes it very hard to use the waitlist to fill in and keep squads balanced\, damaging match flow and leading to frustrating stack-ups.\nHistorically\, due to credit card processing fees\, withdrawing from the match had incurred a $5 handling fee. We are trying something new this month: there will be *no* handling fee for withdrawal requests made *before* 5:59pm Pacific on Thursday night. Withdrawal requests made *after* that time will incur a *$10* handling fee\, up to the closure of registration. After 6pm on Friday there will be no refunds\, as has been the case. Our hope is that this incentivizes those who know they can’t make it to drop earlier\, allowing for better squad balancing and smoother-flowing matches; it also removes any disincentive to withdraw if things look doubtful and just re-register later if the schedule clears up. One shooter at a time on their designated lane\nMATCH DESCRITION\nMatch requires 24 rounds for score plus extra rounds for first string sighters and tie\nbreakers. Any centerfire rifle up to 30 cal. . This is a single round load event.\nRounds fed from magazines are not allowed.\nThe match is designed as a prone match utilizing Bipod or bag for front rest. No rear\nbags are allowed. Shooters that are not able\, or have difficulties shooting prone\, may\nshoot from a bench following the same support rules.\nShooters will advance into classes based on match scores. All shooters start in\nmarksman class. Shooters advance to Expert class with a score of 18 or higher in\nMarksman class. Shooters will advance to Master Class with a score of 21 or higher in\nExpert class.\nTargets will be as follows:\nMarksman Class will have 1.5 MOA targets at 220\, 340\, 430\, 520 yards.\nExpert class will shoot the same 1.5 MOA targets and distances except will shoot a sub-\nMOA target at 340 yards. Master Class will shoot the same 1.5 MOA targets and\ndistances except a sub-MOA target at 340 and 520 yards.\nPlacement is based on overall score. Tie breakers will be shot at 520 yards.\nShooters will shoot a total of six strings.
