DESCRIPTION:This match will be held on the 200 yard range in the back.\nSafety brief will begin around 8:45 am and match will start at 9:00 am.\nYou must be present at the safety brief in order to shoot.\nSteel Challenge :\nThere will be a total of 4 stages\, each stage will consist of 5 targets\, 4 regular and 1 stop plate\, each competitor will shoot each stage 4 times (called strings) back to back. Each string has a max possible time of only 30 seconds. Your score will be your total time plus penalties. Your slowest string is discarded. Simple to learn\, hard to master.\nPlease bring to the line with you a minimum of 4 magazines to help speed along the shooting order. If you do not have enough magazines you may bring someone to the line with you to help load mags while you shoot.\nNo magnum ammunition permitted at all\, no penetrators or solid copper projectiles or bi-metal rounds commonly found on steel cased ammo. DESCRIPTION:Our mission is to provide a venue for Steel Challenge (SCSA) shooting and matches and to promote safe\, fair and fun participation in Steel Shooting competition. Pioneer’s outdoor shooting bays are well suited for steel challenge stages and we have first-class equipment that allow us to offer up to eight standard Steel Challenge stages at every match. We’re known for our capable\, experienced and friendly staff.\nSteel challenge is a unique shooting discipline in many ways. The simple and consistent layout combined with a mostly stationary shooter and multiple strings is well suited to shooters of all ages and levels. In addition\, the many divisions offered means that virtually any style gun may be used for competition as long as they are rim fire or pistol caliber. Each division is scored separately so shooters can directly compare themselves with their peers. Although the stages are rather simple\, the goal is to shoot each stage as quickly as possible and even the quickest and most experienced shooters continue to strive to overcome their limitations and improve their performance.\nMatches are typically held the first Saturday of every month April through November.\nNote: Match and Range specific rule (violation subject to match DQ):\n- Cold range; empty magazine well and no rounds in chamber.\n- Please observe PSI range rule of muzzle direction kept below top of berms\, even when reloading.\n- Match policies and procedures:\nPre-registration and early registration only.\nPre-registration and scores at Practiscore.com\nAssigned squads\n- Only one gun/run allowed on match day;  those helping with set-up can shoot a second gun then. Each Steel Challenge Match will consist of 6 Match stages of 50 points each with a time limit\, and a total score possible of 300 points for the match.\nRound Count: 28 Rounds.\nMatches have limited round counts\, no sighter shots\, no dirt shots\, no sharing of wind calls\, and no coaching. This is a skill challenge shot on Steel Targets of different shapes and sizes. You will shoot as a squad\, and will take turns Shooting\, scorekeeping and spotting. There will be pistol\, revolver\, and .22 rifle classes. 9mm-45acp and 22lr\, no magnum calibers allowed. We are going to continue having the  .22lr pistol and .22lr rifle classes. Both will be low ready only positions and rifles will need a chamber flag and bag to go to and from the line. There will be a 10 round magazine limit with an unlimited amount of magazines allowed at the line with exception of 22 Rifles and in the Unlimited Auto classes\, high capacity mags CAN be used in rifles and Unlimited Auto ONLY. All firearms will need to be bagged or holstered at all times unless at the firing line. With the weather getting cooler this will be a lower round count match.\n****PLEASE BE SURE TO SQUAD AFTER REGISTERING. THERE IS NO WAIT TO BE APPROVED****\nSign in will start at 8:00am with a mandatory safety brief at 8:45. However\, Practiscore pre-registration and squad selection is appreciated and preferred.\n******************************************\nWhat to Bring:\nA minimum of 150 rounds per gun/division (We recommend extra to cover misses)\n5 magazines per gun\, especially if using low-capacity mags (e.g.\, 10-round)\nEye and hearing protection for all shooters and spectators.\n******************************************\nMatch Location:\nBays 1 through 6\n******************************************\nCOLD RANGE Rule – Safety First!\nAll firearms must remain UNLOADED unless you're on the firing line under Range Officer supervision.\nKeep firearms secured in a holster\, bag or cart.\nFor rimfire rifles and PCC\, ensure the bolt is closed on a chamber flag.\nSafe Area:  Safe tables are located in each bay\, marked in red.\nImportant:  If you're unfamiliar with the COLD RANGE rule\, leave your firearms in your vehicle and check in at registration.\nWe're here to help!\nIf an individual is thought to be in violation of the COLD RANGE rule\, a match official will escort the individual to a safe area and direct the individual to unload and show clear.  If the firearm is found to be loaded\, the individual will be disqualified from the match and asked to leave the range.\nPlease leave your concealed carry gun in your vehicle.  If you are a law enforcement officer\, duly authorized to carry a loaded firearm\, we ask that you proceed immediately to the registration table and ask for a match official for the express purpose of safely unloading the firearm to avoid disqualification.\n******************************************\nNew shooters\nPlease arrive no later than registration opening time for the match and let us know at the registration table if you're a new shooter.  This will allow us to have a new shooter meeting without delaying the start of the match.\nConsider bringing more than 200 rounds for each gun/division per match.  It typically takes 150 rounds per gun with no misses to complete 6 stages.  All stages consist of 5 strings of fire on 5 targets. DESCRIPTION:This match consists of multiple 25 bullseye targets at 50 yards in 20 minutes. Each bull is scored as 100\, 50\, 25\, 10 or 0. We use American Rimfire Association (ARA) rules.\nAny .22 rimfire rifle can be used along with any optic\, any magnification. Only two piece benchrests are approved for Factory class but Unlimited class can use one-piece.\nSign-in begins at 7am followed by a safety briefing at 745am. First shots down range by 8am.\n$15 for members\, $20 for non-members. JUNIORS (17yrs old and under) shoot for free.\nCome out and shoot or watch. Everyone is welcome.
