DESCRIPTION:LONG GONG. Long Gong is a 300 Yard Challenge for the .22LR rifle. The Targets are AR400 steel Gongs with a diameter of 8"\n'\,6"\n"\, 4". Scoring is 1 point for impacts on\nthe 8"\n\, 2 points for the 6" \, and finally\, 3 points for the 4"\nThis match is shot off of a bench with a ten round limit for 5 sets. That's 50 rounds per match. Bags & bipods only. There is a three MINUTE time limit per stage. Order of fire is 8" first and an IMPACT is required to move on to the next target\, than 6"\,\n"\, last the 4". If you miss a\ntarget you have to fall back to the last target impacted and continue from there. On the other hand if you hit a target you can choose to remain hitting said target you will be accumulating that targets point value. Score will be totaled after each round with hight score being 27.\nThis is a Fun & Challenging game of precision for all ages and levels marksmanship. So come out and enjoy a little friendly competition while making some new life long friends.\nPlease have a chamber flag and it must be in the firearm at all times\, except we’re on the firing line muzzle up only please

Currently everyone on the waitlist gets into the match; we intentionally set the squad size a little low at first to make sure our squads stay balanced as people withdraw over the course of the week.\nA note regarding withdrawals: recently there has been a significant uptick in last-minute withdrawals and no-shows. This makes it very hard to use the waitlist to fill in and keep squads balanced\, damaging match flow and leading to frustrating stack-ups.\nHistorically\, due to credit card processing fees\, withdrawing from the match had incurred a $5 handling fee. We are trying something new this month: there will be *no* handling fee for withdrawal requests made *before* 5:59pm Pacific on Thursday night. Withdrawal requests made *after* that time will incur a *$10* handling fee\, up to the closure of registration. After 6pm on Friday there will be no refunds\, as has been the case. Our hope is that this incentivizes those who know they can’t make it to drop earlier\, allowing for better squad balancing and smoother-flowing matches; it also removes any disincentive to withdraw if things look doubtful and just re-register later if the schedule clears up.
