When you reach the range\, let the range officer at the entrance know you're here for the IDPA match. We will be in Pistol Bays 1 - 5 at the very end of the gravel drive.\nSAFETY INFORMATION\nAlways observe the four rules of gun safety:\n1. Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded.\n2. Keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until you are aimed at a target and ready to fire.\n3. Don't point your muzzle at anything you don't want to destroy.\n4. Always be sure of your target and what's beyond before firing.\nThis match will observe a COLD RANGE. This means all firearms MUST be unloaded and either cased or holstered when not in use. Furthermore\, there is NO HANDLING of firearms until it is your turn to shoot and the range safety officer gives you the "Load and Make Ready" command. Failure to follow this rule will result in a match disqualification.\nIf you need to inspect/clean your firearm\, test your red dot\, etc.\, you may do so at one of the designated safe areas. Bring your cased or holstered firearm (unloaded) to the safety area\, then you may uncase/unholster it while keeping it pointed in a safe direction. Do not handle any ammo at the safety areas. (You may load magazines at any time anywhere EXCEPT the safety areas.)\nIf you have a CCW permit and you brought a loaded and holstered firearm to the range\, that is fine. You will have the chance to safely unload it during the equipment check at sign-in.\nWhile you are running through a course of fire you MUST follow the 180 rule (more info at https://www.idpanebraska.com/faq/)\, and ideally keep your gun pointed at the berm at all times including during reloads. Breaking the 180 will result in a match disqualification\, as will firing any rounds over the berm. Keep your finger off the trigger while moving or reloading. The shooting is timed and scores are recorded to determine winners. But as much as the competition\, we enjoy the friendships and just the fun of shooting. It is well organized\, safe\, family oriented and is a good place to meet some really nice folks!\nDon't be alarmed by the costuming\, there are "open" classes that are much less restrictive.

The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 70lbs. \nRecruit: There is no plate carrier required for this division. Competitors can run a plate carrier or “rack” if they would like. This division is specifically designed for new shooters of the sport. This division is to help build confidence\, ability\, and experience all while having fun\, and meeting new friends. This division will test your abilities\, but not become overwhelming. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 50lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 50lb.\n Firearms: \nAll divisions are open (Rifle and Pistol may run any optic or multiple optics and any sort of set up). All rifles must have a sling. Pistols may have a red dot and must have a holster than can retain the pistol while negotiating obstacles. Yes! You can run a surpressor! \nRifle: .223 and above. No green tip\, tracer\, armor piercing or M855A1 allowed\, this could result in a match DQ if caught using these. \nPistol: 9mm or larger. \nPlate Carriers: The weight for all the plate carriers mentioned above will be weighed empty. Empty meaning that the shooter will not have any magazines\, ammunition\, radios\, water or other gear to “make weight”. The weight will consist of the plate carrier\, pouches and either ballistic or exercise plates. \nSupporting devices (i.e.\, Support Bags\, Tripods\, Bipods etc..) may be used from stage to stage but must be fixed to the firearm for the entire course of fire. DESCRIPTION:We've taken OSA's popular M-Class bullseye shooting event and scaled it for .22LR.\nOSA members\, affiliates and guests are welcome to participate in .22LR sessions at the MilCun Training Center.\nThis practice will focus on .22LR M-class style competition training\, with two or three shooters to each firing point. You'll need a scoped rifle with a bipod. You can use a rear bag. The distances will be 50\, 100\, 150\, 200\, and 300 meters. The targets will be bullseyes\, with about a 2 MOA bull (and about a 1 MOA v-bull) at 50 and 100 meters\, somewhat bigger at the longer ranges. The general rules are the same as in the OSA M-Class course of fire.\nEar protection is required\, electronic ear defenders are recommended. Safety glasses are required.\nIf you have a low-power riflescope\, a spotting scope is recommended.\n$75.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members and $25.00 off for OSA affiliate members. If you're under 18\, register as a junior.\nCheck in on the 100m range at 0830. You may be required to show your club membership card. Mandatory safety briefing starts at 0845. This unlimited round-count event follows a HIT-TO-MOVE and TIME PLUS format\nMinimum round count: 80/80\nMatch will include lunch and awards\nShooters Brief at 0730\nGo Hot at 0800 \nGEISSELE competitions test a shooter’s ability to shoot accurately\, adjust for environmental factors\, and solve problems quickly\nGEISSELE Divisions and Categories:\nOpen Division\nCaliber/Velocity Limits:\nRifles must not exceed .30 caliber or 3\,400 fps (±34 fps for environmental/equipment variance).
