DESCRIPTION:The PSGC Make Ready match is a non-sanctioned outlaw match consisting of\nrun and gun stages combined with fundamentals to help make you ready for a\nvariety of match and/or self defense shooting styles. Field courses feature\nrunning & gunning\, shooting from cover\, shooting around barricades\, shooting at\nmoving targets\, and shooting from multiple shooting areas and positions at\npaper and steel targets. Fundamentals include Unloaded Starts\, Magazine\nChanges\, Strong/Weak Hand\, Bill Drills\, Target Transitioning Drills\, Near to Far\,\nSlice the Pie\, Mozambique\, Virginia Count\, 5x5 Drills\, Malfunctions\, Stage\nPlanning\, and more. Courses are designed for the person who wants to improve\ntheir overall shooting skills\, prepare for matches\, and improve their overall gun\nhandling skills and safety. A “fun with fundamentals” style match. 9mm/.38 cal\nminimum preferred\, however reliable 22LR’s are allowed\, but not encouraged.\nEquipment: Pistol and at least 4 magazines. Stages can consist of round counts\nup to 32 rounds. Rig with secure belt\, Kydex holster\, and at least two magazine\npouches for additional magazines. Three magazine pouches heavily\nrecommended\, as magazines will be limited to 10 Rounds to help train\nconsistency of magazine changes. Shooting from concealment allowed\,\nhowever holster must be located behind 2:00 for right hand shooters and 10:00\nfor left hand shooters. Eye and ear protection mandatory for shooters and\nspectators. Manual Safety\, Integral Safety (striker fired)\, or De-Cocker must be\nengaged prior to holstering for all loaded starts.\nMagazine Capacity: 10 Rounds in any magazine. May Barney Load or place 11\nrounds in the first mag on stages with Loaded Starts (11 total rounds). The 10\nRound magazine capacity is in place to facilitate magazine changes in order to\nhelp you improve your magazine change reliability and consistency\, as well as\nyour stage planning skills.\nScoring: Time Plus Penalties. A Zone 0\, C Zone 1 second\, D Zone 2 seconds\,\nMiss 5 seconds\, No Shoot 5 seconds\, Procedural 5 seconds.\nBeginners to the shooting sport match formats are welcome. Brand new shooters may want to check out a Wednesday night steel event for a more relaxed introduction to the sport\nWe shoot all of the standard divisions. All scores will be submitted to USPSA. Shooters with current USPSA membership will have all 8 stages count towards their classification. \nWhere?\nBTSA range bays 1\,2\,3\,4\,5. Shooters may drop their gear at the top but please park down the road or in the lot as parking at the top is needed for match staff. The main road gate and BTSA gates will be opened at about 9:00 am \nWhen?\nGates open 9am\, setup 9:30\, mandatory safety briefing 10\, lunch break after 4 stages (~12:30)\, tear down ~4pm\nAll shooters must be present for the safety briefing or they will not be allowed to shoot. \nCost?\nBTSA members- $10 per gun. DESCRIPTION:Lincoln Rifle Club has held 3-Gun matches for over 16 years under a variety of names and affiliations.  We are currently known as the Lincoln Multi-Gun Division and we operate under our own in house set of rules (available on the LRC website). We have two Divisions;  Open and PCC with a senior category in both for shooters 65 and older.  PCC Division substitutes the carbine for the handgun.  Minimum caliber for rifles is .223/5.56 although a pistol caliber may be substituted.  Pistol caliber  for carbine or handgun must be 9mm or larger; 38 for revolver shooters.  Minimum shotgun gauge is 20.  There  are currently no magazine capacity limits.   Shooters are personally responsible for the legality of their equipment.\nVerifiable proof of prior 3-Gun experience is required .  However\, experienced shooters who wish to try 3-Gun for the first time may attend the MGD Q-Course held the Wednesday prior to the Saturday match.
