SUMMARY:2026-10-23\, Fri PM\, 1Gun with Tetelestai Crusaders
DESCRIPTION:Appendix Carry is ONLY authorized for Advanced classification or above.\n1Gun is designed to combine the well liked aspects from the different shooting sports\, with dynamic stages and simpler rules. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.

SUMMARY:2026 EOSC IDPA Halloween Match
DESCRIPTION:Helpers with the Saturday morning setup can shoot on Saturday with the Safety Officers after the setup is completed mid-morning. If the weather's decent on the Friday afternoon\, the match director will be at the range to get a head start on stage layout\, if you're available to lend a hand. We have just changed our policy regarding workers and free match entry. Those who help with the setup on Friday and/or Saturday morning shoot for free.\nNote: We are only accepting EMTs for payment. Please send the EMT to idpa@eosc.ca. The EMT will be auto-deposited therefore no password is required. For those who are helping build the match\, we'll approve your registration without an EMT.\nYou must still send an EMT to secure your spot on a shooting squad after your registration for the match has been approved.\nRemember - you are responsible for squadding yourself after paying and getting approved. If you do not squad yourself you may risk losing your preferred spot to another shooter.\nAs always\, we are very grateful for assistance during the setup on Saturday starting after 8:30.\nWe will have pizza or hotdogs for the workers' lunch on Saturday.\nWe encourage new IDPA Members to come out and help setup on Saturday.\nSpectators are also welcomed if you want to help out or just watch.\nRecent graduates of the NSOC\, remember that your first match after your course is free\, just remind us so we do not charge you. IPSC Black Badge holders and police officers do not need to do the NSOC before competing.\nThe setup won't be too difficult\, so we will be providing some spots on Saturday for those of you who wish to shoot with the staff that day but you must register before hand.\nYou can still help with the setup on Saturday and shoot on Sunday if you like.\nMatch details:\n•	6 stages\n•	80 rounds\n• 16 per squad\n•	8:30 on Saturday (WORK SQUAD)\n•	14:00 on Saturday\n•	8:45 on Sunday\n•	Please arrive 15 minutes before your squad time for the safety briefing or you will not be allowed to shoot.\nPrice: $20.00\nThank You and Hope to see you at the Match!\nEOSC IDPA EXECUTIVE TEAM

SUMMARY:Vale Steel Challenge - SCSA594 - October 23\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:MOST IMPORTANT INFO:\n*******************************\nWe will start setup at 9:00AM and start shooting as soon as we're all ready.\nThis will be an approximately 5-hour match with all 8 of the official Steel Challenge stages. If you don't want to shoot all 8\, you can leave at any time. See notes below for additional detail.\nYou can register a second gun but we may hold some of those for squadding. We are limited to 2 pits / 2 squads for now\, but will expand to 4 pits / 4 squads as soon as we can.\nMATCH INFO:\n*****************\nThis is an SCSA.org sanctioned Level I Steel Challenge match hosted by the Vale Steel Challenge Club.\n$15 first gun\, $5 second gun\, cash only. First timers to this club shoot for free\, kids ages 8 to17 are welcome and always shoot free\, but must be supervised by a responsible adult for the entirety of the match.\nIf you leave early without completing the match -- assuming you were not DQ'd --\, your completed stages will count as classifiers for personal bests\, but of course\, you won't get a complete match score. If there are enough requests for a weekly 4-stage match-within-the-match\, we can make that happen.\nGENERAL INFO and DIRECTIONS:\n******************************************\nRound count is 195 plus misses. We will typically shoot all 8 of the official Steel Challenge (SCSA.org) stages\, but may include provisional and non-standard stages. If you provide your SCSA member number\, results will also be included in your Classification profile and available at SteelRankings.com as well as in the Score Tracker app by Gunz 'n Coffee. Match results will be available at PractiScore.com and in the PractiScore Competitor app.\nGPS coordinates @ 43°56'35.16"N 117°13'18.73"W\nDirections: From the town of Vale\, Oregon travel south on Lytle Boulevard about two miles. The only signs are about fire danger and prohibition of exploding targets. Turn right onto the gravel road\, then at the immediate fork turn left and follow the road for roughly a half mile to the range.\nPark anywhere around the first two Conex containers or if that is full\, go a bit further to park near the bathroom building.\nNEW SHOOTER INFO:\n***************************\nIf you are a new shooter or parent of a prospective new shooter\, please read this section:\nYou are welcome to come shoot this match\, BUT PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY GUNS\, AMMO\, OR GEAR FIRST. You can come and watch a match before you play\, but you will have more fun if you dive right in.\nWe will provide you with a rifle or pistol and all the magazines and ammo you will need to shoot your first match. No charge\, no obligation\, no kidding -- we love introducing new shooters to the sport.\nThere are myriad choices out there and it is overwhelming to choose your first gun. It is also silly to show up to a match with a completely wrong gun for this game (as I did on my first time :-). Almost all shooters love show-and-tell with their gear\, so you can pick their brains and find out what you might like before you spend a fortune.\nPlease watch this safety briefing prior to arrival: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwO1cyPQqoc\nSteel Challenge is a great match to get you started in the shooting sports or to hone your skills as an advanced shooter. For an introduction to the sport\, please visit https://www.SCSA.org and/or watch this video: https://youtu.be/fni4BlduAYY?si=ydg8bksIIb6n5Rzm\nQUESTIONS?:\n******************\nContact Ron Drynan at 208-398-9630 or RDrynan@SnakeRiverSportsmen.com.\nText messaging is preferred\, and we can schedule a time to talk if needed.\nNote that I have little or no cell coverage at the Vale range\, so catch me early on match day if needed.\n******************

SUMMARY:Hard as Hell Rebirth 2026
DESCRIPTION:We call our match the Hard as Hell MultiGun because we aren’t afraid to challenge our competitors to the limits of physical endurance and shooting skills.\n We are adding 2-Gun divisions this year as well as Amateur division!!!\nWe also offer a “Trooper” division for competitors who take the Hard as Hell concept one step further. Troopers have to carry all their gear for the day in ½ mile\, can’t resupply from any vehicles or borrow gear from a buddy\, and at the end of the day get to hump all their gear back out ½ mile from the range. Of course\, just because the match is hard doesn’t mean we don’t want our competitors to have fun. In fact\, “fun” is the entire point of the HaH. Our staff is always friendly and helpful\, and if a competitor is legitimately unable to complete a challenge\, we will find an equitable way for them to bypass it. The only thing keeping a shooter from the top ten percent award is how hard you are willing to push yourself.\nThis year it will be Time Plus scoring.\nThere will be 10 grueling stages that will not only test your shooting abilities but your endurance as well.\nDivisions:\nOpen\nModified\nTac\nLimited\nTrooper\nAmateur\n2-Gun open\n2-Gun Modified\n***Sling required***\nTargets out to 600yrds!!!\nRequired Round Count:\n300 Rifle\n300 Pistol\n200 Shotgun\n12 Slug\nIt is recommended to bring extra rounds to account for make-up shots and reshoots. ABSOLUTELY NO STEEL CORE PENETRATOR AMMO OR BUCK SHOT ALLOWED!!!\nMatch shirt included with match fee if registered before Sept 20th.\nLunch Provided all 3 days of the match.\nRefunds: Today to August 31st = full refund. Sept 1st - Sept 30th = 50% refund. After Oct 1st no refund.\n****If you are planning on staffing the match\, please reach out to Craig Rundell @ rundellcraig338@gmail.com so we can get you registered.***
